Lucia was so very patient and kind to meet us at the apartment after our airport transfer was delayed. The apartment is lovely! The canal view is beautiful and the air conditioning was a great feature!

Everything was as described, clean,check in was easy as Lucia was there & went through everything with us.Location is wonderful, view of canal from balcony is a relaxing place for coffee or spritzer as you watch the gondolas go by.Walkable to all sites & close to vaporetto as well.The apartment is on the large size for Venice & the kitchen is big & well equipped.Thank you to Lucia & Stefano for a wonderful stay.

Sofia was there to meet us, the apartment was clean and neat. Very enjoyable, location was just right, still had to walk, but its Venice.

Better then EXPECTED

This apartment is fantastic. AC worked well. Super clean place. The host is awesome! We loved the neighborhood it was in! The kitchen was well stocked and the washing machine worked well. It was fun to line dry our clothes! Pack lite when going to Venice or to Italy for that matter. Lots of bridges with steps and no fun carrying large suitcases up and down stairs.

Amazing location

The apartment was great for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers. It was large enough for us to spread out. We were there in June/July, so the air conditioning was fantastic. The washing machine was also a huge plus. The Dorsoduro neighborhood was less touristy and more relaxed with fantastic cafes and restaurants nearby.

Outstanding location!

The unit is on a quiet canal—a wonderful piazza is a short walk away with restaurants, market and gelato. While most of Venice was very crowded, this area was not—-very accessible. Highly recommended—-short walk to the Grand Canal and water bus to explore Venice. This was the highlight of our vacation.

A True Gem

Beautiful apartment on a quiet canal away from all the hustle and bustle. Very clean and comes with all of the amenities. This was our first VRBO stay and it will be hard to beat. Stefano and his wife, Lucia, were great and easy to work with. If I ever make it back to Venice I will definitely try to stay here again.

Spacious and elegant, by a canal.

We loved it because it was large, tasteful, with plenty of space, including storage. More of a house than apartment. I would recommend people stay in this area. It was packed with international tourists around St Mark's but this apartment was in a tranquil street, yet close to a lively restaurant area. I'm fussy and I highly recommend it.

Nice large apartment in Dorsuduro

We have stayed in this neighborhood before, and our visit to this property did not disappoint! Large 2-bedroom property with 1.5 baths, very comfortable. My husband who spent part of his youth in Venice especially liked the classic Venetian "feel" of the apartment with the antique furnishings and such. Well-appointed kitchen, clothes washer (no dishwasher), everything we needed. Close to a lively square but quiet at night for sleeping. Wonderful!

Wonderful, out of the way stay

Enjoyed the location, apartment and ambiance of this apartment. Water in the pipes can have a bad odor, like most places can in Italy, sounds from above and below are very easy to hear- but the area is great to get good food and be away from the hustle and bustle. The main bed was also very thin- could feel the springs so I used the extra single mattresses on top of it to get better sleep. All workable issues, I would stay there again.

Great, peaceful location

This property is located on a quiet canal away from major tourist attractions, but only about a short walk to San Marco square. We loved sitting on the terrace and watching the activity on the canal, and we loved visiting the small piazza near the apartment which had many restaurant options, gelatto, grocery store, take away food market, and nearby shopping options. Communication from the host was great. She provided great directions from the train station and she met us at the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know. The space was very comfortable for our family of four (me, my husband and our two young adult daughters). We would definitely stay here again for future Venice visit.

Weekend Trip

My wife and 2 adult kids spent a weekend here and very much enjoyed our stay. We loved fact that unit was only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, so we weren't having to carry luggage all through Venice. It had a wonderful location on a canal and was just a two minute walk from the market area with restaurants and a small grocery store. As for all the main sites in Venice, it was a 15-25 minute walk to everything. A heat wave hit while we were there and the apartment has 2 A/C units which was great when coming back in the evening. We had already been in traveling for a week and the apartment had a washing machine, which came in very handy. This unit was great and close to so much, would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Everything we hoped for

The apartment was everything we had hoped for, it felt like home right away. It is exceptionally well appointed, it was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. We spent many hours on the little terrace, watching the boat traffic of the neighborhood go by. It is very close to Campo Santa Margarita, a very people friendly campo, which has a little market on weekdays and many restaurants, cafés, and bars. The apartment is far enough away that you do not hear the activity from the campo. The location is perfect for us. Lucia could not have been nicer or easier to deal with, everything went very smoothly. We would very much like to return the next time we come back to Venice.

Amazing value. charming place.

This apartment exceeded my expectations. It is very spacious, bright and airy and has an incredible canal view. Location is 8 mins walk from the bus station/vaporetto stop. Linens are lovely. Bed comfy, blackout blinds, tiny balcony which is great for a drink or to hang washing. Washing machine a huge plus for me. Kitchen well appointed, great pots, electric kettle, toaster. Could use a few good paring knives, pasta straining spoon and cooking tongs, also plastic wrap or aluminum foil. I bought salt, pepper and olive oil for the kitchen. Beautifully decorated. Could easily accomodate two couples or a couple with 3 kids. Note to older travelers: There are several bridges to navigate from the station to the apartment which can be difficult to cope with if you have much luggage.

Bel appartement grand , clair , élégant où on s'imagine vivre à Venise . The bathroom with window has a bathtub, hair-dryer, soap;there ia a toilet too
Heating, water, lighting are included in the price.
Final cleaning are not included in the price.
The part of the town is situated (Dorsoduro- one of the six “quarters” of Venice) is very well known and loved by Venetians and Visitors alike both for its wealth of historical monuments and attractions and for the fact that it remains a genuine “lived-in” area of the city.The convenience of this area to the main entry-points to the city combined with its handy access to the hub of the Grand Canal (between Rialto and the Accademia), makes this area a strategic point for those who wish to experience an authentic taste of what Venetian life really is in the heart of this city.
The apartment is close to Campo dei Carmini - part of the famous Santa Margherita area, much frequented by Venetians and young people thanks to its numerous Cafés and open-air restaurants and its genuine vitality.
