awesome location and amazing view.

We had a great townhome and it was the perfect size. We love the view with the ocean right there and the pool just a few steps away. Our only recommendation would be to put a ceiling fan up in the screened in patio. Over all our stay was AWESOME.

Dune 1 Condos

This is a nice condo that is beach front. It has a fantastic view of the ocean. The condo is a little dated but overall it was nice. There were plenty of clean towels. My only concern was that it could have been cleaner. The floors and carpets were clean, but it was obvious that it had not been dusted in some time based on the dust on the table lamps, desks, books etc.

Had you called our office, we would have immediately had the housekeepers return. Please know for future reference that Dune Allen Realty takes housekeeping very seriously and should any detail be overlooked in the cleaning of your vacation home, you can contact us 24/7 and we will promptly respond. Despite the aforementioned issues, we hope that you had a wonderful vacation and will visit with us again in the future.

Thanksgiving at the beach

We had a great getaway at the beach. The location of the condo was fantastic. Literally steps to the beach! The unit itself is a bit outdated with several things in need of attention. Though it was clean, there were broken screens and doors (2 screen doors to the upstairs bedroom balcony were broken and lying on the balcony itself and the other one that was still attached was duct taped) crayon and other marks/scuffs on the walls and rust stains on appliances. There is also old carpet throughout the unit which felt damp due to being so close to the ocean. Overall we really enjoyed it and these minor issues didn’t affect our vacation, it just wasn’t what we expected.

Wonderful location! Needs updating!

Great location. The condo needed many updates. Kitchen cabinets were old and welted. Refrigerator door rusted. Kitchen had old used up pots, pans, and utensils. There were no extra blanket and sheets for the foldout beds. I’ve rented vacations homes at least 10 times and this was the least accommodating. No shampoo, soap or other necessities usually provided by the property, so bring your own. Usually most homes have salt, pepper and or spices left from other tenants but this place was empty. Barely had plates, glasses and cups to use. I would definitely recommend the location but maybe try a different condo unit Would I rent it again? YES if it was the only unit available but I know now I would need to buy or bring all necessities. So add that into your budget or packing.

Dune #1 unit 12

Loved the location. Very easy to access the beach and surrounding area. Unit is in dire need of some cleaning and some maintenance. Mattresses on the 2 beds were very comfortable and appreciate that very much. Chief issues for us were the cleanliness or lack there of.

Needs some TLC - April 2017

The property is in a great location, right on the beach, quiet, yet near shopping. The unit is large and well furnished, however it is in need of some TLC. The walls need painting, the carpet needs replaced, the cabinets had a musty smell, the screen needs replaced and it had some rust on the outside. It would be a great unit if the owners did some updating.

The carpets have been professionally cleaned, and the screen repairs have been completed. Dune 1 Townhomes is very popular and is mainly full throughout spring and summer, but paint will be touched up when the property is vacant. We will also share your comments about the carpet and paint with the owner. Rest assured, the proper attention will be paid to your concerns. Despite the above, we are very happy you enjoyed your stay, the gulf front location, pool and beach.
