This home is the perfect place to stay in Rochester! The owner has done a wonderful job of updating and decorating this beautiful, sun-filled craftsman house, while retaining the charm of the past. Comfortable beds and fine linens are provided, the kitchen is expertly stocked, and there were even bicycles provided for the nearby bike paths. We particularly enjoyed the newly remodeled bathroom and the central air conditioning for our extra hot week in July.
I was a long time resident of Rochester until a couple years ago, but still work at the Clinic. I enjoyed walking to work at St. Mary's Hospital or downtown instead of my usual 70 mile commute! My 8 and 10 year old daughters loved staying in this house, chasing fireflies on the lawn in the evening, having breakfast on the porch swing, and spending their days with old friends. We even had their favorite Hy-Vee pineapple bratwurst cooked up on the grill on the back patio.
Overall, the house looked just like the beautiful photos, was very well stocked, and was absolutely spotless. I hope we have an opportunity to stay again!
