Parking was super tight. Tiny kitchen with breaker tripping when using oven, microwave and toaster oven simultaneously. Worst was opting for late checkout to be ambushed by noise from HOA repair people and no apologies or discounts from property management. Won’t be returning.

A very nice, clean condo with gorgeous view. Very convenient parking spot. I read some of the reviews that said it’s outdated. Maybe a couple things, not troublesome at all. Some very fun mirrors throughout. And smaller bedroom has some wonderful vintage type furnishings. I certainly would recommend staying here.

The parking for this unit was odd and the curbs were difficult to manage even in my small car. We walked into the unit late in the evening to rat turds in the kitchen, living room, and stairway to the bedrooms. We swept them up only to have more the next evenings. The ad was not clear about the stairway or that the living room was sunken. This and the pealing/warped flooring covered with throw rugs made it difficult for my elderly mother to move safely around. The master bedroom did not have a curtain or blinds on the large windows which was not a problem for me as a sleep with a sleep mask but it could have been hard for someone else as there was a spot light from across the bay that shown in the window all night.The whale watching and storm watching was amazing though.

Place was dirty (did get a cleaning deposit refund) , furniture worn, ripped. No current on master bedroom window that overlooks a public seating area. Rodent traps in living room and kitchen. Exposed electrical wiring, etc, etc. Disappointing to say the least. Depoe Bay itself was great, lots of whale sightings!

The condo is in an excellent location with an unobstructed view of the ocean. Beautifully decorated and has a cozy vibe. The third bathroom is a plus. The parking is very convenient and you can also leave your car at the condo and walk to all the shops and restaurants. Possible downsides: As others have mentioned the second bedroom with the full bed has a worn mattress. Our granddaughter slept in that bedroom and found the mattress not very comfortable. Also, the flooring does need to be replaced especially in the kitchen area. The flooring would not deter us from staying there again. Overall a very nice condo unit.

The unit was clean and very functional but furniture needs upgrading. A lot of lights weren’t functional and the fireplace only worked sporadically. Kitchen floor was uneven and some teflon cookware needs to be replaced due to scratches which is unhealthy. Blinds in the bedroom did not work. We contacted the host twice about some problems but 2nd time no one showed up. That said location was perfect. Beautiful views and within walking distance to town.

“The stay was comfortable overall, but the place felt quite outdated. The floors were uneven, the kitchen showed obvious water damage, and the exterior was covered in moss and needed cleaning. The key code was dialed into on the box below and open for all to see, which didn’t feel very secure. Tenants around were a bit odd, though that’s not really on the host.”

Was alright.

We had some struggles with our check in being pushed back a few hours, but understand that happens. The place could use some updating, this is reflected in the price, but some things were just flat out broken. The upstairs bedroom window (best view in the place) has busted blinds that don’t open and one window is out of order. You can’t open it but you can open the other side so that’s not a huge deal. The second bedroom also has a broken window that doesn’t close all the way and the lamp and bed were both falling apart. The electrical is a bit wonky. Some switches do nothing or lead to open holes with wire nuts on exposed wires. The laminate wood floors will get you if you are walking barefoot so sock up. BUT, If you are hoping for amazing views of the whales and to listen to the ocean waves as you fall asleep, you will get both! Just note that you will also have quite a bit of road noise and not quite a full view of the bay. We did see whales!!

The big issue with this home is the 2nd bedroom room mattress that clearly needed to be replaced, it’s old and worn out. We brought this up immediately with the property manager and was offered an air mattress. For the price, it was unacceptable. Something basic for a vacation rental to have a decent mattress. Doesn’t matter on firmness but should have a mattress that is not worn out. Rest of the house was fine but could use some updating, good view. I would not recommend for the reason of it lacked a bed that could be slept on.

Just what we needed

Our stay at the oceanfront condo was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with breathtaking views of the Pacific that seemed to stretch endlessly in both directions. The condo itself had a warm, inviting feel that made us feel instantly at home—clean, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed.Depoe Bay offered just the right balance of charm and activity—enough to explore without ever feeling rushed. We especially loved strolling the scenic walking paths, where every turn seemed to offer a postcard-worthy view or a quiet moment of reflection by the sea.A perfect escape that fed both our sense of adventure and our need to unwind.

Perfect Getaway!

Communication, check-in, cleanliness, and check-out was great. Very welcoming condo with great views and an easy walk to town. I highly recommend considering this location.

Amazing Ocean View

Amazing view of Depoe Bay. Overall, we had a good time. The location is great and we were able to get some glimpses of the whales. The only issue we had was the stove did not work properly. The stove needs to be replaced. If you plan on cooking, you may want to check to see if stove has been repaired/replaced.

The location was perfect. The upstairs Master Bedroom has the best view! It was so nice having a fireplace to cozy up. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. I could go on and one. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and have amazing ocean views this is for you!🌺🌺🌺

Beautiful cove

For a spur of the moment, one night trip, it was awesome! The Townhouse was clean, well kept, and beautiful. The day time traffic kind of overpowered the sound of the waves, but once night set in, it was perfect! It was my first time staying here but I would definitely book it again!

Tired condo with great views

The view is fantastic. Upon entering the condo the laminate flooring had suffered significant water damage and was missing the top smooth layer, the floor was spongy with runners laying on it. The listing stated “new hardwood floors” which was very misleading. There was mouse poison on the counter next to the microwave and more next to the fridge. That seemed odd. The front living room blind was broken and wouldn’t close. It felt like being in a fishbowl with people out in the yard directly in front of it and not being able to close it for privacy. I let management know the first day we checked in about it and they asked if they had permission to enter the next day which I gave, but they didn’t arrive. After more texts, they did arrive our final night with a new blind that we were able to close. The upstairs king bedroom overlooks the water and the view is fantastic. The second bedroom faces the parking lot. The bed in that room is two mattresses sitting on the floor with a bed frame around it to make it look like a normal bed. The bed is very low to the ground and uncomfortable. I rented a two bedroom so my daughter and I would have our own rooms, but she was so uncomfortable that she ended up sharing my room. While showering in the upstairs bathroom, water started running out of a cabinet downstairs by the fridge. I contacted the property management company immediately and they said they would put in a maintenance request. The heat makes a really loud “bang” if above 65

We had a great time watching the ocean in Depoe Bay! The spot had a great view, easy kitchen and access to the coastline and town.

The Whale Song

The condo did have great views of the ocean and harbor of Depoe Bay, especially the bedroom upstairs, truly incredible views. However the entire property needs a good deep clean, felt dusty and cobwebby, and the surfaces weren’t wiped down. The check out process included extra cleaning from us which I haven’t seen most other rental properties and for the $121 cleaning fee that was included in the booking I felt like it wasn’t up to expectations.
