Perfect Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Splash and an incredible view of the gulf. The host, Allen was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had throughout our stay. He made the check-in process seamless. His condo was clean, comfortable and very spacious! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great vacation. We will definitely be back and book with Allen again!

Splash.

The condo and owner were great. The resort not so much. I have been to almost every resort in PCB, and I have never seen the beach chairs rolled up by 230, and the pools werent even enjoyable for the kids. I guess if it was 100 out they would have been great, but way to cold for the little ones. Nice place, but so many better resorts out there.

Great family vacation!

This was the best location for small kiddos! My daughter loved the kids water park and lazy river. The host was amazing with allowing early check in and communication! The unit was clean and ready to use!

Excellent communication and a great condo

Great location, not well cleaned (dirty bed sheets, trash under bed, mold in shower, and torn shower curtain), and unable to reach anyone to address these issues during the stay

Excellent - everything we needed and a beautiful view.

Loved our stay! This condo was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for a week at the beach! Beach chairs were great and parking was easy. The smoke detector needed a new battery while we were there and Alan responded to my text right away and had it taken care of immediately. He was so wonderful to work with.

Great for families with kids

We had a great time(cold weather excluded). Alan was a great host, very informative compared to a friend of mines experience with a different site. The room was cute, clean, and felt spacious because of the layout. It also had everything we needed in the kitchen which was important to us.

Great Place

The location was perfect. The view from the condo was awesome! Loved the amenities!! Especially the onsite grill/bar, heated pools, hot tub, and splash zone. Was nice that the unit included beach chairs and umbrella! The owner was very responsive when the A/C wasn’t up to par. He quickly had a repair person to the unit and had it fixed. Only 4 stars on cleanliness due to patio table being dirty- he quickly provided contact information for the cleaning crew! Will be staying here again!

Best vacation ever

After reading a lot of reviews we decided to go with Splash a week before labour day weekend to avoid major traffic and beach rush - the condo was neat and clean - kitchen was fully stocked - Plenty of towels There a few reviews where people are complaining about the hand bands for splash. I honestly felt it was the best thing and protected my kid from strangers using the kids pool and have a personal security the whole time. One of the best vacation ever and will definitely be coming back soon.

Beach view

Beach view and easy walk to beach. Enjoyed our view from 9th floor. Unit could use updating. Loved the beach view from the balcony but someone in another unit smoked on their balcony quite often, so I did not enjoying sitting on the balcony as often as I normally would. Thank you for the 2 beach chairs and umbrella that was included with our stay!

Would stay again....

I was skeptical about VRBO but Alan made this an easy process. He is great to work with. Condo spacious and has everything you need while on vacation. Location is awesome. I would stay again my only suggestion would be around the cleaning crew. The condo was not clean when we arrived, which was around 8pm. I actually had to clean the bathroom. Like I said would stay again and rent with Alan...

Great Choice for the Whole Family

We stayed a week with ages 10, 28, 32, 53 and 55. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The condo was clean and stocked with amenities. We loved having the beach chairs and umbrella. There were double red flags part of our stay so it was wonderful to have the splash pad, swimming pools and lazy river. We could've stayed here and never left Splash. The onsite ice cream/donut/pizza/coffee shop was so convenient. Plus the pool has a full bar and grill. The elevator wait times were not an issue. Parking was so easy and convenient. I will definitely stay here again. I also liked that there were free beach toys in a box at the end of the boardwalk that other vacationers had left behind for other children to enjoy. You should bring your own beach towels and also dish soap as none was provided (there are 2 dishwasher pods). The check in and check out was so easy. I have no complaints about this unit whatsoever. We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to return.

It was nice for the price.

Owner was great to work with. Replied quickly to questions. Think the condo could have used a few more basic necessities. For example; salt and pepper, liquid dish soap and more dish towels. Was disappointed that we did not get a beach chair rental with our booking this time because they don't open till March plus the tiki bar was not open till March as well. Our daughter loved the kiddie splash areas and pools. I do think the resort needs cleaning and maintenance on the outside areas. Overall, worth the visit.

Great Please to spend a week

Our Stay was great! Alan was a responsive host, and provided us everything we needed. The place was clean, and comfortable. It was not 100% luxury, or drippings with technology and new things, but it was 100% what you need at the beach. Two TVs that had the ability to watch TV and log into your accounts for the rainy days. There was a coffee maker, and plenty of Ice from the Fridge Ice Machine. The Bunk beds were great for the kids, and the Master Bedroom Bed was comfortable. The two bathrooms provided a bath tub and a shower which was great to get two kids clean at once. The Balcony was great, but the only downside was there was a lot of Pigeon Poop on the balcony. Not something that can really be helped, but it was a little excessive in the corners. Overall I woudl stay here again in a heartbeat as i have stayed in 3 different rooms in splash, and this one was the best so far.

Family Vacation

The start of our trip was rocky, since we got there (2 hours after check in) and the place had not yet been cleaned. Alan promptly responded and had a cleaner there within 20 minutes; which was great! She unfortunately did a quick and only superficial spot clean; I'm unsure if it would have been a more thorough clean had it been done earlier in the day. That being said, none of that was the fault of the host. The set-up of the rental was great and family-friendly, but would also be perfect for a couple. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking (we brought our own tupperware). Loved having a washer/dryer - it allowed us to pack lighter! Kids loved the splash pad and multiple pool options. Having the beach service included with reserved chairs was great! We would definitely stay again, and recommend it to others!

Great Family Spring Break

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The condo is perfect for a family of 4 with small kids! The location in the unit is great...we heard lots of complaints about elevators...but not once did we have to wait more than a minute or two! We spent most of our time at our beach chairs and playing in the gorgeous emerald coast sun and sand. The pools were a little too cool to really enjoy, but I’m sure they would feel great later in the season. The booking and check in were very smooth and the condo was clean! There are a few things that would make the actual condo experience a 5 star rating in my opinion. The towel situation is bad and it’s such an easy inexpensive fix to improve the stay. The bath towels are more like the size of hand towels and I’m an average size woman, but even worse is that they feel like sandpaper (a terrible feeling for me and little kids who got a little sun kissed). The kitchen has more dishes than we could have used, but only 1 dish towel...adding a couple of extras would make cooking and cleaning a little easier! A couple of tips: a car is a necessity this property is the end of zone. Bring coffee filters...I had to buy hundreds for 4 cups of coffee. Don’t hesitate to ask to change beach chair locations from where you are assigned....we moved closer to the water after asking! All in all, I can’t wait to go back!!!

Nice room but

This was our first trip to the resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at the resort but the room had some downfalls compared to pictures that are shown. Upon scanning the room as we arrived the bedroom had a complete bottom panel on a wall that was not painted and looked to be in the middle of repairing. Also the hallway bathroom had what appeared to be another repair in the ceiling covered with paper and blue duct tape. These repairs were not discussed in contract or made us aware what would be different in the room compared to pictures that were being shown on the site. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room as there was still sand on the coffee table when we arrived and the carpet had not been vacuumed. This was easy for us to fix with a vacuum that was provided. Furniture and rugs could be updated there was a spot on the couch and one on a traffic rug in hallway along with furniture could use painting. However, we did enjoy staying in the room for our family including a toddler. Next time we will bring more cleaning supplies such as trash bags, dish soap, windex, and coffee filters even the local Walmart was out of the kind needed for the coffee pot provided. The beach chairs were nice and pools kept clean. We hardly waited for elevators and the noise level was never an issue with neighbors seeing that the place was fully booked for spring break. We will come back for sure. The beaches are beautiful and the people in the area are some of the friendliest people.

Pretty good condo

The condo was pretty decent. There were some things that could definitely be worked on. I’ll start with the pros- 9th floor so not too high up, the room was the perfect size for our family- my husband and I, our 13 year old niece, and our 2 and 3 year old kiddos. The 13 & 3 year old slept in the bunks and 2 year old slept in a pack n play in our room. Our first night the fire alarm in the condo beeped all night because of a low battery. I sent the owner a text and he promptly had it fixed. Very pleased. Perfect fridge size, two coffee makers, toaster. The two rental beach chairs that came with the room were also nice to have. Cons- the room could def use a new couch and a recliner of some sort. The furniture wasn’t comfortable at all, and truthfully wasn’t clean. The floors looked clean but were SO dirty. Our feet were black within minutes of walking on them. There was stuff/crumbs on the couch from the last tenets I believe. It wasn’t pleasant. The balcony was disgusting, I swept it off and had to wipe the table down bc it was nasty. There was a pretzel under the tv stand, my kids didn’t have pretzels. I think the cleaning crew needs to be way more thorough while cleaning the rooms. Lastly, the door was hard to close. If you just walked out or in and let it close behind you, it didn’t latch. You had to literally push or pull with a good bit of force to get it to close. All in all, it was okay. But not perfect.

My family loves the beach and Panama City Beach is our favorite! We come down here from Georgia at least twice a year to enjoy the Sun, the beach and the pools. This is our second home and we love it!

Splash resort offers just everything we need for our beach vacation. It is great for family with young kids, just like us. It is right on the beach, very convenient . You can easily hop from the beach to the pools. Adults could also enjoy the on-site Rip-Tide bar, hot tub, and even exercising in the ocean view exercise room! This location is on the west side of Panama City Beach, away from the crowd, so it is quieter but still offer easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants and shops (e.g. Pier Park).

We love the tropical style decoration of our condo, bringing us a cool feeling in a hot summer. The all-tile flooring is great and very easy to clean. The view from our 9th floor balcony is awesome and the height is just right!
