We were so pleased with our stay at Gulf Place--the beach was just across the street and restaurants within walking distance! Loved it and hope to come back!

Nice stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Weekend getaway!

Beautiful view! Clean and decorated just like photo. Very convenient to everything we needed. Food around is wonderful! I highly recommended Shelby’s. It was a great weekend stay! We will come back again!

Beach stay

Good location if you don’t want to cook and be close to restaurants and beaches. Could have been better with a dishwasher. Stove top could have some directions.

Unit was fine. Uopn arrival we noticed there was no working internet. Furthermore the network info we were giving doesn't even appear on network scans, also the TV in the room was assigned to a completely different network than the network we were given. That is of little consequence because the internet never worked in that unit. Like a lot of people, vacation for me usually means a fair amount of work from home. Without any internet capabilities, this was not possible. I contacted property about this issue, i was told repeatedly that this was a local area outage. However, i spoke to many other tenants and local businesses owners, and no one i spoke to had any network related issues.

Family Vacation in Santa Rosa Beach

Our stay was wonderful, the little plaza surrounding us was very pleasant to view and the pools were also great! Would recommend for a couple getaway! Also awesome balcony view!

Great place!

Walking distance to everything. Easy Uber ride if you desire different restaurants but there is plenty of cool local choices within a short walk

Great Place!

My friend and our 16 yr old daughters stayed here for 4 days. We were very surprised by how much room there is. Everything was clean and just as described. Would stay here again.

Although elevator area is in tremendous need of repair, the unit was updated and a wonderful experience. Shopping, excellent eateries, and and incredible location make this a stellar unit for rental.

Great Location

Great location, and easy check in. HVAC did not cool extremely well, and the place was not super clean upon arrival. Nothing to lodge a major complaint about but somethings should be addressed. Dishes needed to be washed prior to using due to stains, lipstick, etc. All ice trays were broken. But the place is in a great location, and we enjoyed our stay

Interesting, Eclectic place-Great location

We loved the location! Great for restaurants, gulf view, beach access. Owner seems to have a great sense of humor with his decor! Furniture is very low but functional enough. Queen bed. Wifi access didn’t work and we didn’t get around to calling to get correct access. Also door code locks you out the instant it’s 10AM so make sure you don’t let door shut while you are getting your luggage out!

49th anniversary

Very Clean unit, affordable and comfortable. Loved the shower and convenience to beach and eaterys. Only inconvenient thing was no ice maker and the tray’s provided leaked. Definitely not a deal breaker though. I just purchased some new ones on the next trip to Walmart as I can also use them at home so you may consider replacing the ones in the unit for future guest.

Good and Bad

Great location. Funky (bad/grease) smell. Nice bathroom. Strong shower. Dirty sheets. Ugh. Great view. Really really short furniture. Cold fridge. No stove, no dishwasher. Interesting design. Great bed. Smart TV basically worthless. Lots of natural light. So some good; Some not so good.

Nice, but won't rent again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, and overall the condo was good, but the unit was hot the entire time in our place. I kept the AC unit on 66, but it still remained hot. On the last day, I was sitting on the couch next to the AC unit and noticed the overwhelming amount of mold/dust/dirt in the vents.Also, as soon as the sun comes up.....everyone is up as there are no curtains to block the sunlight to actually sleep in on vacation.

Don't stay in this place!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so excited to rent this little condo. It looks so cute online. However, it is not as advertised. The furniture is cheap and falling apart. The shower is not private and the tile is chipping. The bed is awful! The only redeeming qualities - location and a great view!

Poorly maintained. Would not stay again.

Many minor problems during our stay March 2019. Management was slow to respond and unfriendly. Furniture was small and uncomfortable. Tv/cable did not work. Condo smelled musty. No window covering on window in shower. Beach chair fees were not current and we convinced the attendant to let us use the chairs. Mgmt later took care of the fees. The only good thing was the Gulf place Location was excellent with a great view from the balcony. We will not stay here again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While it was clean I would not recommend this rental. The furniture is very modern and everything is low to the floor and very uncomfortable. There was also a soft spot in the floor at the front of the shower. The tile had visible cracked and sunk. I’m a general contractor so poor maintenance is what I see. The balcony was also questionable as to its safety. The condo is very loud as you here everything outside. I don’t have to have fancy but I do appreciate a well maintained property and this is not it.

Don't stay here!

We were so excited to rent this condo for several nights! The pictures make it look so cute. However, the reality is very different. When you enter the condo, it smells musty and caused my daughter many allergy issues. Basically, the place is falling apart and uncomfortable. The furniture is cheap and not comfortable to sit in. The curtains were flimsy and came off the rods when we pulled them open or closed. And, the decor is weird - skulls on the wall and bedspread. Additionally, the bed is only about a foot off the floor and very uncomfortable. The shower is peeling, and wide open to the neighbors next door. We had to stoop when showering in order to avoid being seen by the neighbor on his porch. We also had problems with the cable on the television. And, the porch didn't seem safe to step out onto. Although the Gulf Place area is nice and the views were beautiful from the condo, we will never stay here again!

Terrible quality furniture and horrible customer experience.

Fourth floor of the facility had hallway window blinds unattached to the windows and laying on the floor for guest to trip over. As for the unit, the furniture was the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever had on 30a. I guess you need to be in your twenties and not spend any time in the room because the sofas were very low to the floor and hard to stand up from them if you are older. The windows were messed up and the topnparts wouldn't stay up long enough to latch the bottoms, so all of the road noise and people walking by kept us awake all night. I could go on for days. Secondly, I was scheduled to rent this unit earlier in the month and my mother passed away at the same time. The rental company wouldn't let me out of my contract. They said I could only reschedule to the week we used. Honestly wasn't in the best place mentally to enjoy our vacation. Horrible amenities and a horrible experience with the rental company. Never again will I use them and I will be leaving a Google review as well.
