The room was great and the welcome was nice too, with clear instructions about the property and nearby restaurants. The view really was great and the location was also excellent. Make sure you bring your own soap and shampoo.

Authentic neighborhood. Great to stay in comfortable apartment and to be close to local restaurants and cafes. Bus available for access to central station. Pleasant walk to centre through streets full of character, porticos and local cafes. Very happy with the area. Nice modern apartment block with secure gates. The lift is handy if you have a bigger suitcase. Very happy with our choice.

Charming apartment away from the street, in a quiet neighborhood, approximately 14 minutes to walk to Piazza Maggiore. Restaurants and cafes in neighborhood and also walking distance in the historic part of the city. Supermarket is 5 min or less walk - open 7am-10pm when we were there. Apartment has laundry drying rack if needed. Host advised us that there was either a laundromat or laundry services in the neighborhood and would have provided details if we were interested. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was a brilliant apartment. Conveniently located, well furnished and a friendly owner. The local maps and menus were a very nice touch. A wonderful place to base your exploration of Bologna.

Beautiful apartment in a good location in the southern part of Bologna's city center. Carlotta is great and is very responsive to questions. The only thing missing is an air conditioner. Otherwise, everything was superb!

We’re very pleased that our guest enjoyed the stay in our apartment. The only small note is that it would have been appreciated if the ceiling fan, the portable fan, and the dehumidifier had been switched off before departure. Installing air conditioning would likely require us to increase our rates significantly unless all guests help us avoid unnecessary energy waste. Unfortunately, electricity in Italy is very expensive, and using it thoughtfully is something we consider good practice in our homes.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is on the outskirts of the old town which meant the dining options were not touristy. All our favorite meals and food purchases were those close to the apartment. The apartment was quiet, and the small kitchen was surprisingly well stocked. We were able to walk everywhere, and we would be happy to stay here again the next time we're in Bologna.

Central Bologna apartment

I loved staying in this apartment. It is compact, comfortable, quiet and had everything I needed. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Bologna. The building is secure and has a lift. As a solo traveller I felt very safe. The sofa bed was comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with a hot plate if you need to cook. Communication with Carlotta was excellent and she was waiting for me at 9pm after my delayed flight finally arrived. She responded quickly to all enquires. I would happily stay here again.

tutto estremamente curato

Appartamento veramente bello, curato negli arredi e in ogni dettaglio. Proprietari cortesi ed accoglienti. Posizione comodissima...

Nice appartement near to the center of Bologna

We have had a nice stay and the appartement was clean and cosy. It is quiet and there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is big enough for two persons but the fridge is very small and has to be called minibar. Our tip to the owners is to reorganize the furnishing of the apartment to make space for a normal sized fridge. Surely in the summermonths it is nessessary to have enough space for keeping food cool and fresh. When you stay longer than a couple of days you could get the same problem as we had. The appartment is near to the center of Bologna. Finding a parkingspace for a car is difficult but not impossible if you are patient. Without a car you can take a taxi from the airport for only €15. It would be nice if the owners left as a extra service some recent information about Bologna. We found only some old leaflets. Close to the appartement is a very nice bakery where you can get lovely fresh cornetti for your breakfast. We felt in love with Bologna and surely we'll come back.

Francine (France)

Short holiday in Bologna.

We spent three nights in Bologna, staying in Casa di Vale. The property was just the same as described; good location - in walking distance to Piazza Maggiore (about 15 minutes), and even to the central station - it took us 25 minutes. A bus stop - several meters form the house - five stops to central station with line 21. We got detailed information and instructions from Paolo how to reach the property which we found really helpful. It was very kind we could check - in earlier than it is practised and started exploring the city shortly after arrival. The studio was very clean, nice furnished, a kitchen unit equipped enough - everything what we needed; for guests comfort - a lift in the building. Thank you Paolo for pleasant stay and great impressions from Bologna!
