Lovely little place in Tuscany

We had a fantastic time in Poggibonsi. Rondine is part of a small group of buildings with serveral being hired out. It was comfortable and the hose, Fabio, very welcoming. Rondine is far enough out of Poggibonsi to be in the countryside, but near enough to easily access the facilities in the town, which include a great market on Tuesday mornings, as well as good public transport links to Florence and Siena. You will need a car, but with that you can explore the wonderful countryside. We had a lovely time - I only have 1 criticism - it was far too short!

Merveilleuse semaine en Toscane

Nous avons été gentiment acceuilli par Fabio, qui a été disponible tout en étant discret pendant le séjour. La piscine est très agréable. L'appartement est très propre, le lit est très confortable. Emplacement idéal entre Florence et Sienne pour visiter la Toscane.

Toller Urlaub in ursprünglicher Unterkunft

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in der urigen Wohnung von Fabio. Es ist alles sehr klassisch und wirkt wie eine authentische Wohnung, hat aber auch moderne Dinge wie Klimaanlage und einen Pool zu bieten. Der Gastgeber ist oft vor Ort und konnte uns gute Tipps für den Urlaub geben. Die Wohnung ist ca. 2 km von Poggibonsi entfernt, wo man alles Nötige kaufen kann. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen.

Very Clean and Fully Equipped Unit in a Bucolic Setting

Spotless unit with a panoramic view nestled amongst olive groves with all the necessities for a relaxing country stay. Minutes away from Chianti vineyards and wineries by car. If so inclined, you can make the 30 minute walk to Poggibonsi for coffee and pastries or to buy a traditional beefsteak Florentine that you can grill back at the property on the unit's outdoor grill. Fabio and Maria are the most pleasent host and hostest.

Deuxième séjour aussi magique que le premier

Comment décrire à nouveau cet endroit magnifique ? De retour 3 ans après notre voyage de noce, nous n'avons pu éviter quelques larmes en revoyant ce plafond voûté, la chambre cachée derrière ces rideaux romantiques nous séparant du salon fonctionnel et de la petite cuisine augmentée d'un four à micro-ondes. Revoir la piscine et voir à nouveau ce paysage de carte postale toscane fut à la hauteur de nos souvenirs. Toujours au frais à l'interieur, dans la chaleur (en juillet) de cette région fantastique, cet écrin de bonheur est au centre des plus belles villes à visiter. Florence (indescriptible), Sienne (n'hésitez pas à visiter tout ce qu'il est possible de visiter de l'extraordinaire Duomo), San Giminiano, Volterra, Monteriggioni, Castellina in Chianti, vous êtes au centre de visites inoubliables. Vu l'étroitesse des routes, comptez plus d'une heure trente pour Lucca et Arezzo (très agréables) et Pise (plus convenu mais incontournable). Que dire de la gastronomie toscane que vous ne connaissiez déjà ? Fabio est un hôte fantastique (sympathique, efficace et discret juste ce qu'il faut) qui mérite les nombreux 5 étoiles reçus. D'un point de vue pratique, tout est absolument conforme à ce qui est décrit sur le site. Paraît-il que jamais 2 sans 3 😍...

Fabulous place!

Total peace and quiet in the middle of beautiful Tuscany. Fabio was a font of local knowledge, very helpful. The apartment was very well appointed with everything we could need for our stay and beautifully decorated with Tuscan charm. The grounds and pool were very well maintained and so peaceful (we had the pool to ourselves most days as everyone was off seeing the sights). This place is perfectly situated between Sienna and Florence and only 10 minutes by car to gorgeous San Gimignano (you can see it's famous towers from the pool area). The only downside is that there is nowhere locally that you can walk to for a drink or meal, however you can't have everything and having a short drive is a small price to pay for such peace! We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back - Thank you Fabio and Anne-Marie for your hospitality x

Ruhiges Ferienhaus in toskanischer Idylle

Die Ferienwohnung Rondine, die wir für 13 Tage gebucht hatten war einfach wunderschön! Gemütlich mit kleiner Küche, perfekte Größe für zwei Personen und mit Liebe und toskanischem Flair eingerichtet. Der kleine Vorgarten mit zwei Liegen und einem kleinen Tisch für vier Personen lädt zum Grillen ein und ist perfekt geschützt. Auch der Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt und umrahmt mit Olivenbäumen und vielen Liegen sowie Blick auf die traumhafte Toskana. Fabio und seine Frau sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit - ob Tipps zur Umgebung, gute Restaurants oder aber auch alles rund um die Ferienwohnung. Die beiden waren jederzeit erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Poggibonsi ist jetzt nicht unbedingt die schönste Stadt der Toskana, aber als Ausgangspunkt für Tagestrips perfekt gelegen. Auch zwei große Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto in 5-10 Minuten erreichbar. Alles in allem können wir die Ferienwohnung Oliveta nur wärmstens empfehlen, denn es fiel uns wirklich schwer nach zwei so tollen Wochen wieder nach Hause fahren zu müssen. The apartment Rondine which we had booked for 13 days was just wonderful! Cosy with a small kitchen, perfect size for two people and furnished and decorated with love and Tuscan flair. The small front yard is equipped with two sun loungers and a small table and four chairs and a big barbecue, which invites you to grill and eat outside. The pool area is also very clean and beautiful, surrounded with olive trees, many sun loungers and view of the gorgeous Tuscany. Fabio and his wife were very nice and helpful - Tipps about the region, good restaurants, wine tastings or anything at all about the apartment. They were always available and very kind. Poggibonsi might not be the most beautiful and exciting city of Tuscany but it is the perfect spot for day trip to explore the region. Also there are two big supermarkets within 5-10 minutes by car where you can get everything. All in all, we can certainly recommend the apartment Oliveta to everyone! We had such a good time that we did not want to leave and go back home. :)

Schöne Ferienwohnung - perfekte Lage

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung Rondine sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles genau so wie auf den Fotos. Hübsche, saubere und liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung. Sogar deutsches Fernsehn konnte empfangen werden und jede Wohnung hat einen eigenen Garten. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in der idyllischen Hügellandschaft am Rande von Poggibonsi. Der Standort für Ausflüge zu den beliebtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskans ist mehr als perfekt. Wir hatten Ende Oktober immer noch traumhaftes Wetter und über 20 Grad. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Une excellente semaine passée à Oliveta et autour !

Nous avons trouvé une propriété conforme à notre attente et à l'annonce, ainsi qu'un accueil sympathique du maître des lieux. Poggibonsi se trouve au centre d'une région riche de beautés et de cultures (dans tous sens du terme), ce qui nous a permis de découvrir l'essentiel des alentours et de nous régaler les yeux et l'esprit... et accessoirement le ventre aussi, car les Italiens mangent bien ! ;-) Notre seul regret sera d'être repartis alors qu'il y avait encore tant de choses à voir ! Merci donc à M. et Mme Cantini pour leur accueil, et le français qu'ils pratiquent infiniment mieux que nous l'italien... ;-)

Sehr schöne, gepflegte und erholsame Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub in der Wohnung Rondine. Von der Wohnung aus sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana schnell und einfach per Auto zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gepflegt, teilweise etwas hellhörig, kommt auf das Verhalten der Besucher der Nachbarwohnung an. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Urlaubs Location.

Propriété superbe. Piscine merveilleuse dans un cadre naturelle idyllique avec les oliviers. Gîte très très propre et de très bon goût. Mme et Mr Cantini sont des gens très très sympathiques et présents en cas de coup dur (panne véhicule). Et de très bon conseils. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location. Tous les petits villages médiévaux à proximité sont à visiter. La campagne est superbe. Et les restaurants sont bons (Village de Certaldo) Paule et Daniel Barbier

Perfect country rental in Italy

Our stay at Podere Oliveta was amazing. We didn't know what to expect and it was perfect for our needs spending a month in Italy. April is certainly the month to go with cool nights warm days and no crowds. The accommodations were exactly as described and work great for two people for 28 days. You certainly need a car if you will be staying here but we loved the town of Poggibonsi and being able to get away from the crowds in the tourist towns. It is centrally located and we were able to see everything in Tuscany and all the way up to Venice by train that we wanted to see. Fabio was a great help to us and we would certainly rent this property again and or recommend it to friends or family.
