Darcy was very quick to respond, a delightful host who made sure everything was in order before our arrival. And, they live right next door if you need anything!! The cottage is cosy and very comfortable. Fireplace was amazing and warm enough that you don't need an AC even in winter. Bed was firm and comfortable. Hot water was great too. Furnishings and amenities were a bit dated but available.

Cosy winter cabin stay

Great location, adorable little cabin with everything you could need for a short getaway. Close to Ballarat and activities in town but the highlight was honestly staying in by the wood fire heater.

The place was stunning and very relaxing. The perfect place to get away. The only slight downside is the proximity to the host house, (though they were gracious and welcoming) it was rather close. Otherwise very nice

This is a gorgeous cottage that is perfect for staying with pets. It is basic but very comfortable. Lovely large dam, and bird song in the morning. The biggest plus was the host. Very accommodating and supportive.

We had a wonderful stay at Dam Cottage. Darcy and his family were very friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Even guiding us to the location when we got a little lost, which we really appreciated. The cottage is beautifully situated, surrounded by nature and close to the farm, offering a peaceful and authentic countryside experience. There’s also a lovely sense of history about the place, which makes the stay feel extra special.
