Fun for the Kids

The kids had a blast, the proximity to the beach was awesome! Many a bike ride on the beach was great. Walking to the beach was quick. The playground was also close. The property manager responded quickly when the dryer had an issue. Great week we won’t forget!

The location was great, super convenient to walk to the beach. It was a great rental for our family, which included two couples and two kids.

Nice place overall, great location!

We come to Hilton Head multiple times a year for vacations and to visit family, Forest Beach Villas has been one of our favorite places to stay because of location/proximity to the beach and Coligny. Unit 411 was an awesome place that feels very spacious with the high ceilings and second floor!Only downsides we had on our trip was the laundry not working correctly, the dryer was not venting properly as we were getting error messages and clothes took 2 hours to dry. The place was also pretty well cleaned overall except for some mold noticed in the corners of and on the squeegee in the primary shower.

Nice 2 Bedroom close to the beach and shopping

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated. It’s right across the street from the Coligny beach entrance and shopping plaza.

May Stay

Very nice place, convenient location. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach and plaza. Only negative things were the TVs worked about half of the time and you have to pick up your parking passes, which are 15 minutes away from where you stay. But we would definitely stay here again

Great place for a Hilton Head vacation

Instructions for check-in were straight forward and well written, condo was perfect. The only negative was the beach chairs, as they could use replacing. I’m hardly the type of person to make that a reason to discount this review, though. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay! Location is great too. Highly recommend!

Great location... unit is tired and needs updates.

Unit furniture was old and uncomfortable, upstairs beds were trash, really cheap, carpets upstairs very stained and dirty, and the building has poor ramp access for strollers, had to carry strollers down several flights of stairs, or walk way out of the way. Location was great.

Beautiful Condo and great location

We loved this condo! It was a great space for my best friend and our teen daughters. We loved the high ceilings and updated features. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The location to the beach is perfect. A very easy 5 min walk to the beach. Just FYI this condo does NOT have a Keurig. It has a regular coffee pot. Also, very basic cooking items. Just keep that in mind if you plan to do much cooking. We ❤️’d our stay!!!

411 forest beach villas

Everything was good. Location is great and condo had lots of room. However, for what we paid, we think the furniture was sub-par. The sofa sleeper upstairs was not usable when we arrived, the chairs on the balcony were badly rusted (one broke while sitting on it) and the kitchen supplies were not the best ( only 3 knives as an example). Probably would not stay here again.

Couples get away

My husband and I stayed at the property for a long weekend get away. When we arrived we were instructed to go to the property management company to pick up parking passes. They were closed when we arrived at 6pm and our passes we not in the box. I called the property management company and they forgot to tell me they left the passes at the property. That would be my only complaint. The property was clean and as described. It would be perfect for a family or 2 couples. Location is perfect. We loved everything about it.

Avoid V-Trips Rental Agency!!! Villa 411

We have stayed in Hilton Head many times and at Forest Beach Villas too. This particular unit, however, is owned by V-Trips - not a private owner. The upstairs air conditioning was sporadic at best. We called the emergency # at 5:15 pm and they said they “would try” to get someone out to fix it that night. I said, excuse me, but we are paying a lot of money for just a week’s rental and it is a sauna in here! Please send someone out tonight. No one ever came nor did we hear from anyone in the morning. We had guests staying with us and naturally, that is the floor they were on. In addition, we found that the pull out couch upstairs was inoperable. The listing in VRBO stated Villa 411 slept 9 people. It doesn’t. V-Trips was trying to blame VRBO for how their listing appeared. I eventually spoke with Amanda from customer service who asked that I send a screen shot of the listing and who also said a prior guest had gotten cut on the pull out bed a while back and that is why it was tied shut. Nice. A/C Repairman told us A/C thermostat/location was bad and said company is aware. Nice. Carpeting throughout full of stains; first level couch should be steam cleaned it was so dirty; was told by Customer Service Amanda we would receive some kind of compensation from the company as they “truly care” about the customer experience. Have received nothing and have not heard from anyone. They will not get our business again. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else…

Would not book again

The manager called us about 2 hours from the time of our check-in and said the upstairs AC unit was not working and it was currently 83 degrees in the upstairs. They said they had someone going to look at it that day. We requested to be moved to another unit so we didnt have to worry about the AC issue and we were told no, that if it couldn't be fixed they would figure something out then. The maintenance person basically met us there and said the filters were so old and dirty that was the issue, he changed it out and it started cooling. The next day it was 83 degrees again and we had to call someone again to come look at it and the person who answered the call said this AC unit has been an "ongoing problem". The upstairs bedroom was warm the entire week. The upstairs pull-out couch was also completely unusable. When we called the second time about the AC unit we also told them the about the couch and she said there shpuod have been an out of order sign on that couch and it must have been moved. Someone had to come and put it back in just to be able to sit on it because there were bars and pieces that made it rather dangerous for us to try and put it back down. The pictures made the space look much larger than it really is. After those big issues we didn't experience much else negative about the property. Nothing was done to adjust our price or offer any compensation for these issues. The master bedroom bed is hard as a rock. Would not book again.

Great location

Our family enjoys the location of this condo complex, amenities, and this particular condo floor plan. It has good space for everyone. There are a few beach chairs available to use but they are aged and hard to operate, thankfully we brought ours that we could use. We have stayed in many condos in the Coligny area and we would choose this one again based on its space and location.

Wonderful Location and Great Condo!!

Overall our stay was great and the location cannot be beat! You are close to the beach, Coligny Plaza, and the Lowcountry Celebration Park, all within just a couple minute walk. The grounds at the complex are very well taken care of and the pool is a very nice size and never overcrowded. The condo itself was nice as well. Everything was as described in the listing. The only complaints I have is the shower door in the master bath leaks no matter how hard you try not to let the water hit the doors and the shower upstairs the hot/cold are opposite (hot is cold, cold is hot). The TV in the living room is very tiny and doesn't have cable, but all the bedrooms have TV's and cable. It would have been nice to have a bigger TV in the living room with cable as we didn't watch TV in the bedrooms at all. We received our code to get in and our parking passes with no problem. We had plenty of room to spread out as a family of four; it would have accommodated a couple more people as well. Our stay was great and I would highly recommend this condo and we will defiantly be staying there again.

Perfect Vacation Spot

I traveled here with my two son-in-laws for a few days of golf and relaxation. This property was perfect and handled all of our needs. Very clean and close to everything. Would definitely stay here next year!
