Super stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience renting at Aldea Thai. The condo was perfect. Lots of space and a nice patio. Management company was superb. Always available to answer questions.

Both Playa Moments and VRBO let us down!

Before I departed on my journey to Mexico, I realized that Playa Moments (PM), the management company, was charging me more than I was quoted on VRBO. I reached out to both companies and not only wouldn't PM help me, but VRBO also refused to help me. Upon arrival at the property, I mentioned it to PM's concierge and he commented, "oh yes, I see that. I'll get it fixed." Later in the week when I reached out to him about this he insisted that I send him the VRBO screenshot, just what I wanted to do on my vacation, so, on March 4, I sent the pic. I still have not received my refund. While in the unit, we had issues with the safes in the rooms and asked for assistance. He claims that he knocked on the door but there was no answer so he left. We know that he's able to text but apparently, he never thought of that. We never were able to use the in-room safes, so we were never really comfortable when we left our room. On another occasion, four days before our check-out date, we asked for the potable water to be delivered to us as we were completely out. This was never delivered. The kitchen had the bare essentials, but not one additional convenience. Aldea Thai is a very nice and well-maintained property, lucky for them and their unit owners, other property management teams manage their units. Shame on you, VRBO for not pursuing this over charge issue on our behalf. I thought that's what I paid your fee for.

The pictures look great, the location is ideal but.....

I really hate to write a review like this but this property really needs a refresh. The location is great, and it's a nice space. But as soon as I walked in, I noticed things were off. There was a cigarette burn in the fabric on one of the dining chairs. Then I walked to the couch.... it was disgusting. Stains of all kinds everywhere. And there weren't enough extra sheets to cover it. I had to call the concierge immediately to bring sheets b/c you couldn't sit on it otherwise. There were no hand towels, one wash cloth and 6 bath towels total for 4 of us. No kitchen towels of any kind. And I think 5 beach towels? For 9 DAYS. And no laundry on site. Yes, they came to clean once and replaced towels and sheets at that time. But it's a little gross to use the same beach towel for multiple days. The bath towels I guess were clean but had stains on them. The faucets and other fixtures were old and didn't work great. We often ran out of hot water during showers (not the unit's fault, but still frustrating). Besides the basics in the kitchen there was nothing in the way of little items like salt/pepper/etc. That would have been nice. It just felt like the unit provided the bare minimum and those items themselves really need to be refreshed. That aside, the location is really ideal and the pool was nice. I just don't know that I'd book this place again considering how dirty it felt :(

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is in a very calming hotel in a great location. It’s one block from the beach and two block from the main shopping street.

Great Location, Nice Apartment

We enjoyed the location of the apartment as well as the private pool. The apartment is fully equipped and is very nice. We did have some issues with the plumbing and struggled to have maintenance check it out for a couple of days. The floors also seem to be coming off the ground. Besides that, we had a great stay, and I would recommend it for families!

Unit was well supplied and immaculate when we arrived. Ground floor unit is easy access from the parking. Hosts are easy to communicate with and quick with responses. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!
