The room was nice. We wish the air blew as cold in the bedroom as it did in the living room. The beach was so close and the pools were both wonderful. We loved having the Deck restaurant so close. It was delicious with the best ocean view. Loved being able to take our dog. Very nice place to stay. Very friendly staff.

Nice condo with easy access to beach. The on-property bar & grill was very nice and convenient. Our only complaint was that this particular unit does not have any windows to the outside. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the beach colony resorts was fabulous. However, this specific condo was not the best. There is one window in the entire condo, and it faced a dark hallway, resulting in no natural light. This specific condo also smelt heavily like food/grilling when we arrived and stayed during our whole weekend - we never found where it was coming from. The condo was decent but the price did not reflect what we received .

Beach side Colony

Great location to the beach, pool, dining and shops in the area. Staff were helpful and easy to talk to. Would recommend to anyone.

There is a connecting door to another condo that we were not expecting. We thought it was a locked owner’s closet but soon discovered we could hear conversations on the other side and see when the lights were on.

The condo was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The pool and the location on the beach were perfect. We were however disappointed that there was no balcony and only one small window in the entire condo, and no closets or anywhere to hang our wet suits and towels. It felt very dark and isolated; not what we expected for a trip to the beach.The noise from the neighbors was crazy. I read the prior reviews and thought, “it can’t be that bad.” It is. They are just taking or walking around and it’s like they’re in the condo with you. The condo was very nice, clean, great location, comfortable bed and pillows. We just want others to know what to expect.

Suite for quick getaway

The condo was advertised just as it was. It was fully stocked with plates, bowls, utensils, bakeware, pans, etc. The in room washer and dryer was very convenient.However if you are needing to use the pull out sofa as a sleeping option do not. The very thin "mattress" was terrible. She was able to use the sofa to sleep on just not pulled out into a bed.The location to the beach was amazing. The pool area was nice, especially with The Deck restaurant attached. The food was great at The Deck. Initially, the parking was very confusing because the parking deck is very small and sectioned off for condos and the restaurant, but not easy to destinguish. Once we got the lay of the land it wasn't a big deal. Overall it was a very nice stay with location and convenience being the best parts.

There were no trash bags, no iron, no extra pillow cases. We were a little surprised at the connecting room. We could hear quiet a bit from there & they a dog that liked to sit right by there door. Listing was misrepresented

Listing was described as an “expanded one bedroom” but the room that was called a bedroom did NOT have any windows. In the living area there is one window crammed in the corner that looked out on the dark deadend corner of the exterior hallway. The property manager was nice though and made things right.

Wonderful spot for family beach vacation!

Enjoyed the trip so much! Stayed in a one bedroom unit with my spouse. My daughter and her family stayed in a 3 bedroom unit. Our unit had all the comforts of home. The tile flooring and area rug need updating or a good deep cleaning in living area but otherwise the unit was clean. The unit had no windows except one small window in the living area that looked out to a wall. We jokingly called it “the cave”—but I’ve never slept so well! It was dark, cool, and quiet. My daughter’s unit was spectacular. It had been newly remodeled and had a lovely balcony. The beach was lovely—very clean and a good crowd. Same with the resort. The pool was full of children, but not a rowdy crowd. We enjoyed the restaurant on premises and ate there several times. The island had plenty of good restaurants and Savannah was just a short drive so we visited there a few times too. So easy to fly in and out of Savannah. I highly recommend this location for a family beach vacation.

We were a little bummed that there were NO windows in the unit. And the conjoining door to the next room had gaps; you could literally see light through it and hear all their conversations. Maybe adding some weatherstripping or something would help with that.
