Delightful Condo!

This beautiful home is in a quiet neighborhood close to the Fairmont Hotel. We enjoyed snorkeling, boogie boarding, hiking, and biking. The beach club is also lovely. Great stay

Great place. Fully stocked kitchen and a garage full of fun toys for kids and adults!

Beautiful and roomy. Nice amenities. Kitchen is well stocked and the bbq is a nice feature. Would stay here again.

A wonderful time with ohana

We had a wonderful stay at Kulalani. Everything was first rate and when we switched over to a local resort for a day or two to finish out our stay on the Big Island our 8-year-old daughter asked time and again if we could go back and stay at ‘the condo’!

Amazing location and property

This property had everything we needed as a family to enjoy our time on the Big Island. The beach supplies made it very easy to head out for the day. The house is as described and the neighborhood is very close to many beaches and other resorts. Great place!

Great Place

This condo was perfect place for our family. It’s was very clean and in great location. Mauna Lani is peaceful area. Only complaint would be parking situation. Don’t plan on putting a larger vehicle in garage and hopefully there aren’t to many others needing two spots otherwise. I will look to stay there again.

Great property and management service. Spacious interior and very clean. My only complain is parking is a premium as they isn’t enough outside spaces you have to park away from the unit if your suv can’t fit into the compact car garage.

Spacious, Perfect for Family

This property is perfect for a family with kids!! The beds are sooo comfy, there’s tons of space, it’s decorated nicely and the kitchen is fully stocked. The private beach and pools are fabulous for every age! Parking is a bit odd and there’s inactive construction off to the right of the backyard, but otherwise the property was magical for making amazing memories!!!

Absolutley perfect!

I was there with my two girlfriends and this home was perfect! Location was perfect, close enough to Kona-but felt secluded enough to get out of the busyness. Property was immaculate and the grounds were stunning. The commuincaiton with the host/property management was on point-and I asked alot of questions. Very quick to respond. Well stocked kithcen and the bikes and beach items were very nice quality. I would definatly come back to this spot! The lap pool was a great bonus too!

Beautiful developememt

Everything was as advertised except the outside furniture. It is not the same as in pictures andnis uncomfortable. Also the place is at the end of the developement and so you view a construction fence. But we would go back as the developement is beautiful.

Great property!!! We’ll stocked rental !!!

From start to finish a great rental. Everything you could want was provided, well stocked kitchen with equipment and accessories. Great TV and streaming services included. The pools for the complex were immaculate! Beach toys and bikes and coolers too!!! Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We can recommend without hesitation. Paradise In Hawaii is a top notch host you can trust. They were responsive and hd good communication. All around a great experience.

Peaceful and relaxing retreat!

The island hideaway was definitely a home away from home! As a busy family of 6 we look forward to these times where we can just relax and create memories with our family as we feel that children spell LOVE...T..I..M..E.. :) The entire booking process was very smooth and Jeff and Suzanne were always reachable and responded to messages efficiently. We were able to meet the property manager as well and she was a joy to speak to. The unit was clean and had everything we needed during our stay and more! You can feel the love in every detail of this home making us truly feel as if we were at home. We also love the conveniences of amenities (pool and gym) nearby as well as a shopping area within very close proximity. We will definitely be back again in the very near future!!

Dirty dirty dirty

Carpet black with dirt, both showers were dirty and there was hair everywhere on the walls and floors, mildew in grout, microwave dirty, tiles floors dirty, and dust and grime everywhere. It was disgusting.

Mauna Lani Week

The property is well equipped and comfortable. Situated in the Mauna Lani resort area, we particularly enjoyed having access to the Beach Club. It was a quick walk to the grocery store and also several restaurants. We have been to Hawaii many times so we are happy to just come to Mauna Lani and relax for a week. An added bonus was we were able to visit the Mauna Loa eruption/flow as it erupted shortly after our arrival!

Our vacation rental in Mauna Lani

This property is very nicely decorated and the kitchen particularly well stocked and kitted out. Also, the fact that renters have access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club is a huge plus! A great alternative if you don’t want to spend all your outdoor time at the pool - which is also a lovely spot and has a “quiet pool” for empty nesters like ourselves. Additionally, the garage is loaded with all manner of beach and water gear ( not to mention bikes) to enhance ones outdoor fun. We were, however disappointed with a few items. The most glaring is that abutting the rear of the property to the right is a large, abandoned building storage site/ staging ground. The green sheet fencing which would have hid it is long since down, revealing piles of roofing ties, containers and a trailer. I commented about this to both the property managers and directly to the owners but received no reply. Secondarily, the carpeting was very much in need of a cleaning, and the air conditioning could not be dropped below 72 degrees This took on more significance as the air vent into the secondary bedroom puts out very little air and even with the fan on the tempature ran about 4-5 degrees above the rest of the unit. Overall we enjoyed our 10 day stay at this property and exploring the surrounding area. The disappointments noted above did not mar our overall experience but would have been helpful had we known about them in advance.

Big Island Fun!

We were a family traveling with two kids under 8. The Mauna Lani area is beautiful. Very safe and manicured. Staying here you have access to a fabulous beach club with a very safe swimming area. As well as two good size pools a short walk from the condo. The unit itself is very spacious and everyone had room to roam. We cooked in often and the kitchen was extremely well appointed. Cleanliness is very important to me and while the unit had been cleaned it for sure needed a deep clean. Baseboards were dirty, doors had filth and carpets needed to be shampooed. We didn’t let that bother us but but it needs to be noted. We rented a golf cart and that was for sure a highlight to take to the coffee shop and beach club. The garage is well stocked with tons of fun things for the kids to play with outdoors and we were enjoyed l the sand toys. Our kids also met many other children their own age and while there were plenty of older travelers in the complex plenty of families too! We had wonderful weather for our time and felt the condo was a good home base. It is a distance from many of the activities we enjoyed but we stopped often as their is so much to see. The only other item to note is that their is a construction site next door that isn’t active. It’s a bit of an eye sore our the window as you see a large container. Costco and Target save a ton in groceries and are well worth the drive after you land. The big island is a beautiful place to explore and we enjoyed our time very much.

Island Hideaway

Beautiful, spacious condo. One of the most equipped one we’ve stayed at! It was perfect for us 4 adults. But are plenty of baby items in the bedroom closets. The pool is a short walk. And you have key access to the beach at Mauna Lani Beach club. Wonderful beaches a short drive. Lots of snorkeling gear, beach chairs, bikes. Great stay.

Wonderful place

Extremely easy renting process . Property owners were very attentive and responded very quickly to any questions.. House is very clean, well equipped and in a great location. Beautiful and welcoming home. Highly recommended.
