We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! It was the perfect size for two people and was very clean when we arrived. The rental had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The host was excellent with communication, checked in to make sure we had arrived safely, and responded to any questions quickly and kindly. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

What is pictured is what you get. It's a nice, clean property within 15 walking minutes from the beach. There's nothing negative to report about this place. If you like to wander about and away from the beach, there's a battleship in Wilmington where the tour is extensive and spectacular. Try Cugino Forno (pizza) while there! Places to eat that we tried were:Salt64: Great bisque, shrimp and flounder. -, ***Fixins: breakfast. Good biscuit gravy! , ***Tranquil Harbour: The smoked fish dip was wonderful! Honey Bourbon Salmon and market sirloin -, ****Putt-putt and the arcade are worth playing multiple times. Good, simple fun!

Cozy little spot

We absolutely loved this cozy little space. It was perfect for the two of us celebrating our anniversary for the weekend. Location was amazing and it was super clean! My husband told me to mark it as a *favorite* so we can come back again soon!

Beautiful Clean Studio

This studio is perfect! It is spacious, clean and so very comfortable!! The bed was comfortable too so that was a major plus. A short distance to the beach and stores and restaurants. We’re so glad we found this place and highly recommend. We had a wonderful time!

The key of sea

Great spot to stay. The short walk to the beach was .5 mile. That needs to be listed online. The only other issue was no hot water in kitchen sink. Bathroom was fine. We loved the coziness and cleanliness. A very quiet area and convenient to many of things on the island.

It was overall really nice. The place is cute, the bathroom especially was clean. The contact person was good about communicating. It just had a weird scent that came home with us. I would not even call it bad. Just...odd. I am really sensitive to that so maybe it would not be as strong or bothersome for other people. Honestly, even despite the odd scent I might stay again.

There is a profound difference between enforcing a policy and abandoning basic human decency. Yes, the listing states an occupancy limit of two people. I arrived with my two young sons, minor children,and was immediately called by the owner, who asked how many guests were with me. When I answered honestly, he said, "That's where we have a problem," and informed me that we would not be allowed to stay.So there we were: a single mother and two children with a paid reservation, being told to leave after we had already arrived. No meaningful attempt to resolve even when I offered to pay even more. No reasonable solution other than refunding fees. Just, "You have to go."What makes this experience so disappointing is not simply the occupancy policy. Property owners are entitled to establish whatever limits they believe are appropriate. What is inexcusable and difficult to reconcile the idea that two young children, who require little more than a place to sleep beside their mother were treated as though they presented some extraordinary burden to the property. Whether or not the owner was technically within his rights, the complete absence of compassion was astonishing. A vacation should begin with anticipation, not panic and the tears from two young childre. Instead, ours began with the frantic search for somewhere, anywhere, to take two exhausted kids after being turned away from accommodations we had already paid for and offered to pay additional fees because of my mistake.

Anniversary trip

We had a lovely time! The place was perfect for our anniversary trip. Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene was hitting and our area had tornado warnings. It would have been nice to have had a safe place indicated and evacuation routes. We did not receive any contact from a manager to ensure that we were ok. Also, no light was on for the home and no house number for us to see when we arrived in the dark. Other than those things, the home was awesome.
