Our Shangrila is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath chalet on 2 levels with Mountain and Tram views. Located 2.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg in Chalet Village. The main level includes a full kitchen, living room with TV and DVD player, WIFI, stereo and wood burning fireplace, master bedroom with a King bed and TV and a private full bath with washer/dryer. The lower level includes the second bedroom with a queen bed and TV and a full bath in hallway with access to 4 person jacuzzi tub. Game room with full size pool table, TV, access to the lower deck .**THIS UNIT HAS A STEEP PAVED DRIVEWAY WITH LIMITED ACCESS** . Access to swimming pools and tennis courts, in season. Smoking is not allowed in the unit. Please smoke outside. If you smoke inside, you will be charged a $200 fee. THIS CHALET DOES NOT ALLOW PETS!!If you bring a pet you will be asked to leave with no refund. This chalet only sleeps 4 people, due to fire codes we CAN NOT put more than 4 in unit, children under 3 may be allowed as they can share a bed with parents but limited to 2 children. Winter Weather Warning: The elevation at Our Shangrila is nearly the same as the lodge at nearby Ober Mountain Ski Resort. In case of inclement winter weather, 4 wheel drive and/or chains are advised. We recommend checking the weather and webcam at Ober Mountain Ski Resort to determine the weather conditions here. The City of Gatlinburg does an excellent job of keeping the roads open in winter, but in case of heavy snowfall, it may take a day or more to make the roads safe for travel. When staying here in the winter, it is advised that you bring extra supplies just in case.
