Cozy, secluded two bedroom cabin with spectacular view of Whiteside Mountain. Two queen beds, loft, two bathrooms, and wood stove. We have upgraded our satellite internet system with StarLink , Youtube TV, stereo system. Relax on the large deck sitting by the gas fire pit and enjoy the view of Whiteside. Listen to the Chattooga River flowing down Cashiers Sliding Rock, just a twenty minute walk or drive in three minutes. Shopping, hiking, recreation center and great restaurants nearby. OUR STEEP DRIVEWAY IS NOW PAVED!. For safety and liability reasons the indoor hot tub is not part of the package.

The Whiteside Vista cabin was exceptionally well equipped. The master suite is large and airy with a terrific attached bathroom with double vanities and a panoramic view of Whiteside Mountain through the sliders to the large deck. The 2nd bedroom is smallish but certainly more than adequate for sleeping and storage. Our party of four were never cramped. The cabin is provisioned with all manner of cookware, gadgetry, spices, toiletries, foils, bags and laundry supplies. The laundry room is spacious and equipped with a high quality commercial-grade washer and dryer. Our favorite spot was the wonderful screened in porch/sunroom facing the mountain. Cashiers is only a 5 mile drive away and offers many fine eateries, boutiques, galleries, antique shops, and furniture. Thereā€™s a furniture and art consignment store with many nice pieces. Cashiers Rustic Furniture (near ingles Supermarket) has one of the finest collections of high-quality cabin furniture and artwork that Iā€™ve come across. Glenville is about 8 miles from the cabin and has upscale shopping and fine dining, also Lake Glenville with pontoon rentals and fishing. We hiked daily to many beautiful waterfalls, riverscapes, lovely forested trails, including one to the top of Whiteside Mountain for more stunning views. Gorges State Park is about a 25 minute drive to some fine hiking trails and the highest waterfall in the eastern U.S. The cabin is also loaded with maps, visitors guides, hiking guides, menus etc. Great stay!

Such a great place! The cabin was clean, outfitted with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and the location is tremendous. Very easy to get to all the various attractions-waterfalls, hikes, shopping, dining. Yet, it was private and extremely peaceful as well! We would absolutely stay again.

The cabin was very inviting. When you first come in ,you feel comfortable.There is a lot of light in the cabin and every room has a view of the mountain.Everything you could need was there. The owners have plenty of information on every conceivable activity you can imagine.The hosts were prompt on answering any questions.We both loved the cabin , but did not see any bears,!

Perfect weekend getaway

We had an amazing time together this cold weekend. We enjoyed hikes, shopping, and great dining. We also experienced some snow which was nice. The house was so beautiful and the view was unbelievable. Waking up to Whiteside mountain at the end of the bed every morning was lovely We plan on booking another weekend at the cabin next year!

Amazing time!

We absolutely loved our long weekend here. The views were beautiful, cabin was cozy, and the location was very convenient. There were plenty of hikes and waterfalls nearby and the town of Cashiers had lots of food options. The hosts left a big binder full of recommendations as well. 12/10!!!

Private, quiet, fantastic view, very helpful and welcoming hosts. What more can you ask for? For my wife and me, nothing. Easy to access, close to great hiking, fishing, golfing, dining and browsing. Awesome couples cabin

This cabinā€™s is absolutely amazing for couples who want to get away from reality!! My wife and I loved the view from the bedroom as well as sitting on the porch. It was close enough, we could get to town in no time and eat and or shop. We were close to a ton of hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls.

Well, located easy living in Sapphire with a view

Very much enjoyed this property. It was perfect for my wife and me. Had all the essentials and everything was in place. We just showed up and enjoyed our time in the area with this serving as a great base camp. Beautiful view of this mountain called Whiteside mountain each morning having coffee. We had such an amazing time. The property is absolutely amazing with breathtaking views. We are David and JoAnn Cox. We are semi -retired and split our time between Tallahassee, Florida and here in Cashiers NC. JoAnn continues to consult with school systems around the country and David, after retiring from the regional food bank in Tallahassee, works with other food banks as needed in operations. We enjoy spending time with our two children, their spouses, and 5 grandchildren. We love to play pickleball, hike, white water raft, dance, practice yoga, workout and spend time with family. Sharing our little slice of the mountains with guests has been most gratifying. We hope they will have a memorable and relaxing stay in Cashiers.

This property was obtained by David's parents in the late 60s. David and JoAnn put their first little cabin on their piece of property in 2010 and added a renovation to it in 2016. JoAnn has added her touch to the home and it remains a quiet, secluded cabin in the woods , but is still only minutes from shopping, entertainment, hikes, waterfalls, and dining in Cashiers and Highlands. Our cabin is only about an hour to Asheville if you desire more action and options.

The obvious answer is Whiteside Mountain. The big rocks dominate the western view from everywhere on the property. Whiteside has a personality; it is constantly changing and mesmerizing at times. We have a very large outside deck for coffee/adult beverages by the gas firepit, barbeques, dancing, and star gazing. There is also an outdoor firepit for making smores and quiet conversations. We leave bird feeder for our bird lover guests and try our best to provide you with the comforts of home. You can wake up in the master bedroom and Whiteside is right there saying, Good Morning! We feel our home has all the amenities you are looking for with still being a peaceful cabin in the woods.
