This extensively renovated Night Heron bungalow offers the perfect blend of structural upgrades, modern comfort, and classic Sea Pines charm. Located just a 4–5 minute walk to the beach and steps from the community pool, the home sits beneath a canopy of pines and palms in one of Hilton Head’s most peaceful settings.

A newly covered front porch welcomes you inside, where new windows and doors enhance both light and efficiency. The open living room features updated flooring, coastal tones, and ample seating centered around a large flat-screen TV. A private office off the family room provides dedicated workspace, and the washer/dryer has been thoughtfully relocated for convenience.

The kitchen has been enhanced with a new coffee bar and pantry area, along with an island for additional prep space. It is fully equipped for family meals and opens to a dining area that seats four comfortably.

This house was just as the online listing promised. The property was clean and nicely decorated . Its location was super and very dog friendly and close to the beach plus the owner was very helpful. We’d stay there again.

Great House in a great location!

This house was the perfect size for two adults and two dogs. The location is fantastic and minutes from the beach on foot and in a quiet location. The home is tastefully decorated and well stocked with quality home goods (dishes, utensils, pots etc) in just the right amounts. We would definitely stay there again of we got back to Hilton Head.

This bungalow was the perfect size and set-up for our family. We're 2 adults and 2 teens so everyone had some space. Loved that it was a 5 min walk to the beach. The home was stocked with essentials and then we were close to the grocery store to grab anything else we needed. I might have missed it in the listing but the bungalow does have a Keurig too. The only thing I'd point out is that the showers are small and there's no tub. It still worked for us but I know that would be a dealbreaker for some travelers. My husband was talking about staying here again within 24 hours of our arrival so it was a hit.

A very attractive and well decorated villa. Best kitchen design of any we have stayed in, as well as most completely equipped with a full range of amenities. The owners appear to have gone out of their way to provide exemplary comfort and efficiency.

Great location!

My husband, pup Daisy and I enjoyed our stay at the property. It has all the household items needed to prepare meals and was a short walk to the beach. I enjoyed biking the trails to the forest preserve to see the shell ring! The location was easy to find from the entrance to Sea Pines and was a great base to visit Coligny plaza, Salty Dog and Harbor Town. We enjoyed our visit to this pet friendly location. Location was quiet and easy parking as well.

Memorial Day Week

The cottage location was convenient and the cottage was was pet friendly The only negatives was the small bathrooms and the horrible mattress on the master bed, it was so bad we slept on the the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom

The bungalow was adorable and equipped with everything you could possibly need, plenty of places to sit in the living room. The beds were comfortable I would definitely stay again. The only thing I didn’t care for was the sink and mirror being in the actual bedroom right outside the bathroom . Wildlife was abundant and the beach was close by. Plenty or restaurants tour to take and nice shops everywhere.

Just what we needed

The living spaces were bigger than I expected. Everything was nice and updated, including the kitchen tools. The location was fantastic. Just a short walk down to the beach path. And it was great having a pool close by as well. The deck outside was very spacious. Perfect for setting out everything to dry off that we needed to.

Just what we were looking for!

What a wonderful place!!! So glad and lucky to have found this lovely secluded dog-friendly cottage with bike trails galore and easy beach access across the street! This cottage was just perfect for us and so relaxing to enjoy with our two little dogs. We are from Pennsylvania, so we have always visited the Jersey Shore each summer. This Hilton Head Island vacation has changed our ways - Goodbye Jersey Shore - HELLO Hilton Head! We shall return!

Great time

This property was such fun! Nicely decorated beach themed! Lots of dishes and kitchen utensils. The bathrooms are small but nothing we couldn’t deal with. There were lots of bees on the back deck but the property manager dealt with it right away. It was about an 8 minute walk to the uncrowded beach. Our dog was welcomed and we had a great time. Would recommend it to anyone!

Cozy Cottage

Comfortable little bungalow in Sea Pines. Spacious kitchen & living room area. Bedrooms are good size. Showers are a bit compact but it was ok. Heads up that Sea Pines is a gated community. You will get 1 car pass. All others pay $9 a day or $25 for the week if someone else has the pass and they plan on coming/going. Great area central to shopping and restaurants. Check out the Salty Dog in Sea Pines and the Park Cinema is a real treat. Leather reclining chairs, bar, food and only 10 minutes from the house.

Wonderful accommodations and location/close proximity to beach

We have been to HH for years and this was our first stay at 16 Night Heron and we will return to this property. Everything was clean, online pictures were accurate depictions of the home and the property manager was very responsive. The pros of this property include: close proximity to beach (short walk/bike ride on a concrete, tree-shaded beach path); a "single-family" home so you aren't hearing guests above and below you; location is near Ocean Gate entrance to Sea Pines which is a short bike ride to Coligny Plaza, restaurants/shops even outside of Sea Pines; they even provided dog bowls; home was well-stocked with necessities and we loved having our own deck

Wonderful place

Check in: We arrived around 5pm and quickly checked in (the only annoying thing was we had to pay $9 to actually get our parking pass for the whole week...unsure why the owner couldn’t simply leave the pass for us at the gate). Location: The villa/home is located a few minutes from the beach and by many amazing walking paths. (Watch out for alligators and keep your pets close to you ON A LEASH!) Depending on how much you like to walk, Cologne Plaza is just about a 20 min walk. The home: Fabulous. Obviously newly renovated and kept in great shape. Had no issues with anything in terms of appliances or the AC. Recommendation: Perhaps a larger coffee or dinning table that can accommodate a large puzzle. We managed on the kitchen counter but it was rough.

Well appointed with room for improvement

The property is in a great location, very well appointed, has every kitchen item you could dream of, and has a Keurig which I don’t think is mentioned in the listing. Upon arrival everything looked great. When everything was unpacked from the car and we went to sit down, all of the furniture was covered in long dog hair. We then checked the beds. The comforters had some hair, the back of the bed pillows had some dog hair, sheets were fine. My husband was running out for groceries so he picked up a sticky roller. I was able to pick up a lot of the hair, but not all. I brought it up 2x to the owner and got one half hearted reply, apologizing on behalf of the cleaning crew. There was hair and grit under the furniture and a large dog “stain” on the living room rug. I didn’t complain about this, but clearly the cleaners need to spend more time in the living room. If it weren’t for these items I would’ve given 5 stars, we didn’t let it dampen our vacation, but I did expect more.

Great location! Close to beach, trails,pool and Harbor. Plenty of living space, but showers a little tight. Felt like we were living in the jungle but could walk to the beach in five minutes!
