Tropical gardens, wild orchids, a delightful fishpond all enhance this magical place with its spectacular views of beautiful Banderas Bay. An ideal location within a few minutes walking distance to the beach and the Romantic Zone with its many restaurants, bars, cafes, galleries, theaters and outdoor activities. The owners recently added a surprising contemporary 5th master bedroom suite poolside which includes a separate kitchen plus a romantic outdoor shower.

Our visit was awesome. Great home, excellent service. The view of Banderas Bay was super, especially at night. Special thanks to Triny and Rosario gor looking after us so well.

PV at it's best!

Great location and amazing views of Old Town! If I come back to PV with friends I will definitely stay here again. Walking distance from all the restaurants and beach, and the house had great amenities and was very spaciousand comfortable. Everything was pristine- and was a great deal in the summer! The maids were great and very helpful- we didn't even have to go out and buy our own groceries!!! Definitely a great stay- and this place is not to be missed!!

Great Property and Location

We had high expectations based on the pictures and description and they were all met. The property is beautiful and laid out perfectly for gathering together or privacy when needed. There wasn’t a bedroom that someone would have to settle for as they all had their own bathrooms and terraces. The villa was well maintained and we had no issues that had to be dealt with during our stay. Triny is a great cook and we never went hungry. Our concierge Carla was also great, assisting us with transportation, dinner reservations and an excursion. There were only 2 of us and we felt very comfortable, but the villa could easily accommodate more with everyone having enough space. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful stay.

Clean and Beautiful Home

We loved this house. It has plenty of room for 8 people + 2 kids. The house was very clean and the staff was outstanding. The view is incredible. The only downside elements were the sofa bed in the media room is not vert comfortable. I would not recommend it for adults. The pool was a little too cool for us and the heat could not be turned on. Wi-fi is weak but I think that has more to do with Mexico's infrastructure. The house is located at the top of a very big hill so bring your walking shoes.

With regards to the pool heater, the owners appreciate your feedback and are currently installing a new heater so that guests can adjust the temperature to their liking. They also thank you for letting us know about the sleeper sofa -- they have purchased a top of the line memory foam mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable for our next guests who need to use it. With regards to the wifi, the villa has been optimized to provide the best possible wifi anywhere throughout the house, however you are correct that the speed is sometimes out of our control as that depends on usage throughout the neighborhood. The villa is located hillside, which is why we have such incredible views. We recommend that guests catch a cab when coming back from downtown if they don't want to walk up the hill, as taxis are plentiful, easy to get and cost less than $3 USD to the villa. Thanks again for your review and feedback! We hope that you get a chance to return to Puerto Vallarta and Casa Paraiso as we would love to have you stay at the villa again.

Beautiful Villa in a Great Location

Casa Paraiso was much more than I ever expected. A gorgeous villa--very large--with fantastic views of the Romantic Zone, and a great staff. The villa is very clean, nice furnishings, and comfortable beds. I loved that each room had it our bath as well as a balcony with seating. Trini is a fabulous cook, and had margaritas and guacamole for us every day. The breakfasts were sooo good!! We had a lot of fun in the pool and we even had lunch served to us in the shaded area around the pool. It was so nice to have nothing more to do than lay by the pool, looking out toward the ocean. It's a short walk down the hill to the Malecon where we would eat dinner, but a steep walk back--so we would take a taxi for a few dollars. It was very easy to work with Maria on the booking as well as the deposit return. She is such a nice lady. The villa is beautiful, secure, and we had a great time! Would definitely go back!!

“Beautiful oasis in a fabulous part of town!” Can't beat the view!

We were a group of 8 (4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 kids (3 & 5) ) Upon arrival the staff was helpful and informative. They had margaritas and guacamole waiting for us. The house is so much prettier then the pictures could ever show! We enjoyed every moment from the days we did adventure tours to the days we just lazed around the house. Breakfast every morning was wonderful! The beach, town and almost everything you could want out of Puerto Vallarta is right there. Be sure to check out the beach walk and see the local show at the Arches every night starting about 8pm. We were very lucky and had great weather with beautiful lightning storms rolling in every night which we sat on the front deck and watched! Fabulous! The only down fall is the walk home up the hill some nights is hard on the kids. Thanks to Owner's for everything! We will be back

Better than advertised!

My family just finished a perfect week at Cafe Paraiso, and we could not have been happier with our decision. Reality exceeded expectations, the villa even nicer than the very enticing photos. Triny and Rosario could not have been more accommodating, and their breakfasts were the treat that started us on the right foot daily. They went out of their way to treat our sixteen-month old special, and Triny arranged for baby sitting services on two evenings (once bringing her daughter in, and the other herself). The Villa is a hike up the hill, but the view is magnificent and there are really good restaurants within a couple minutes walk once there. The beach is easy to reach, and all of old Puerto Vallarta and the Zona Romantico are within easy striking distance. And if we were not wanting to challenge the climb, taxis are very easily hired for a very reasonable fare. All three of the larger bedrooms were really nicely appointed with terraces and spacious bathrooms. Maria made a point of contacting me at appropriate intervals to make sure we had all questions answered, were ready to relax when we hit the ground at PVR. She made it easy. I hope to be able book Casa Paraiso again--the whole experience was exactly what we were hoping for.

Doesn't get much better

If you are looking for perfection, you won't find much closer than Casa Paraiso. Had a fantastic family reunion and we were taken care of like family by Trini and Rosario. They cooked our supper on our arrival day, a great welcome to mexico meal. They cooked breakfast every other day, and did a fantastic job. The villa was always clean, and we marveled at their attention to detail...there were four children under 3 years old and toys were scattered throughout the house at the end of the day. But in the afternoon, after the house was cleaned, we would come home to every toy placed back in its owners' Pack-n-Play, crib sheets neatly folded and ready to receive its tired fussy baby. The view is spectacular, I would speculate that it's the best view in PV. The walk into town, the beach, the malecon is about 6 minutes with no children, 15 minutes with tiny legs. The hill on the way back to the villa is a bear. Count on sweating out all the alcohol you consumed down below and wishing for nothing but a dip in the pool when back home. Toward the end of the stay, it just became too much and a taxi was well worth the money for a speedy, easy return. Be sure to haggle over taxi prices before getting in the car...a price will range from 20 to 70 pesos for the same distance. We took the bus (a great experience) a couple times to Mismaloya beach and Eden waterfall. Beautiful warm water, good snorkeling at Los Arcos rocks. We also went fishing, caught one cervallo jack, barbequed him up back at the villa. In short, we would not hesitate to return to Casa Paraiso. It far exceeded all expectations and we will cherish the memories for a lifetime.

Simply Amazing!

I'm afraid to tell anyone about our amazing vacation... I don't want my beautiful new "home" to be booked up next time I need a great escape from a hard Chicago winter. Simply put - the villa was amazing. I don't know if there is a better villa in PV. There might be but I would be afraid of taking the risk of not staying at Casa Paraiso as it was near perfect. Our diverse group of 7, loved the place. And we are a group that appreciates nice things. The house looks even better in person than the stunning photos. Each bedroom with private bath was a perfect size for each of the 3 couples and one single (though the place can sleep up to 10 easily). Our favorites: The large terrace off of the main living room - meals, long chats and drinks out there were so wonderful in the morning sun or warm evening air. The pool was also perfect for us and so refreshing after a "busy" day at the beach. Outstanding Staff: Trini and Rosario were so sweet and so accommodating. The daily breakfast and the special dinner they prepared were so delicious. The place was spotless and well maintained. We left them with hugs as they had become good friends. There were many hidden extras: two powder rooms, a large media room, a super cool private terrace with sofa & chair and an actual "secret garden". So much space we really did not use half of it. Location: Perfect for us. We are Romantic Zone types. The Villa is near the beach, many great restaurants, shopping, art galleries, yoga, bars and nightlife. We saw a couple fun shows at Act II Theater. Yes, there is a hike up or down "the hill" but I appreciated the exercise. Also taxis or private vans were easy to get and very affordable. Last but not least: Maria made booking the villa and planning our outstanding vacation so easy and simple.

Best PV House and Vacation EVER!

We loved our week long stay. Let me count the ways: perfect communication, incredible concierge/Carla, we loved the in house staff Rosario and Lourdes. Location location location...easy walk to everything. The view. The style of the house is impeccable, like old colonial Mexico with all of the best modern touches. We want to go back...next week!

Gorgeous Villa, Excellent Service

Our family just spent a week at Casa Paraiso for a special occasion, and we were thrilled with beauty of this incredible place. The views of the city and bay below are fantastic. The landscaping is really worth noting if you are interested in plants at all...it is lush both inside and out and expertly maintained. Tile work everywhere! And verandas off almost every room. It has to be seen to be believed. We loved the pool - the kids were kept so happy playing in it! The breezes through the house kept it very comfortable and relaxing throughout the day, with the AC cooling the rooms down quickly at night. The staff are excellent. Our concierge set up some special events for us and checked in every couple of days, and was always available to answer any question. And Triny and Rosario: they took such good care of us we all got totally spoiled by the end of the week. They kept the house clean and running, and cooked our entirely family big beautiful meals the entire trip. What an amazing staff! It’s a nice walk down to the town to get food or go shopping. It’s steep coming back uphill so cab it if you have mobility issues or if you’re tired! Or you may just want to stay inside the villa your entire visit, like someone in our family did. Hard to blame them!

What a wonderful extended weekend!

We rented this villa from a recommendation from a friend. The whole experience was amazing. We were greeted upon arrival by Carla, whom introduced us to Trinii & Rosario the chefs and housekeepers were friendly, courteous and amazing to have around the house. The food they prepared was so fresh, they even were able to provide a birthday cake for a friend traveling with us. We will be booking again for next year.

a wonderful time in a beautiful home!

This was a bucket list experience for my partner and I. We had always dreamed of staying in one of PV's beautiful villas. We got 6 people together and booked Casa Paraiso for a week. We were not disapointed! Lovely well appointed home with stunning views of old town... Trini and Rosario took great care of us by making breakfast and lunch, helping us host a small cocktail party and keeping the home spotless each day... Beautiful Property In One Of The Best Locations!

This house was PERFECT!!! There were 4 of us traveling together, and all 4 bedrooms were as equally stunning! Carol and Maria (the owner) were very accommodating, and we would definitely come back and stay at this house again!

Best Vacation Ever!!

This is truly a paradise-like home. Everything is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Due to its proximity to the beach and shopping areas, we walked almost everywhere. The walk back to the villa is a good workout, but if you are not up to it, taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. We were greeted on our arrival with the best margaritas we have ever tasted. Trini was very attentive to our needs and cooked a great breakfast every morning, which we ate on the terrace looking out at the beautiful view of the ocean. We really enjoyed the pool after days of shopping and sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this property.

Spectacular Views from Every Room!

My family and I recently spent 6 idyllic days at Casa Paraiso. This beautiful home decorated with traditional Mexican flare, was comfortable and delightful. The two housekeepers, Triny and Rosario served up the most delicious breakfasts every day, and on two occasions we had them prepare a late lunch and early dinner for us. Both meals were beautifully presented - not to mention that they make the best guacamole and margaritas! What further delighted us was the brief walk to town - a trip we made every day. If you plan to walk back from town, the hill is very steep and provides great exercise. In all we enjoyed every moment spent in this beautiful home in the Romantic Zone of Puerta Vallarta.

This place is AMAZING!!

I recently celebrated my birthday at this property. The villa is so beautiful! My friends and I are already talking about when we want to return. The house staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting PV.

Beautiful home!!!!!

I had my bachelorette party here at Casa Paraiso and photos does not do this house any justice. The house is so beautiful in person and is in close range to everything. Each room has it's own sitting area with a terrace. So, if you feel like you want some privacy you can definitely do so. This house is so beautifully designed and decorated. This was the best vacation with awesome friends and family. The view of the bay and mountains from each room of the house are so spectacular. Trini and her staff were so amazing and will take care of all your needs. We had Trini and her staff cook brunch for us and it was delicious. I can't wait to come back to Puerto Vallarta! Thank you! A great memory for three generations

Casa Paraiso was the perfect destination for experiencing Puerto Vallarta. It is located within walking distance to the business district and restaurants and the Malecon It seemed very safe and had wonderful views of the city and the bay. Normally we stay in a resort hotel when we travel, but staying at Casa Paraiso gives one a much more personal and private setting in which to enjoy your traveling companions. Maria and Cathie answered all of our questions quickly and honestly before we arrived and followed up while we were there to see if we were satisfied with everything. Trini and Rosario were very pleasant and accommodating. The whole experience was handled efficiently and professionally. The only thing I would advise is to use taxis to return to the house because the hill is quite steep and there are a number of steps up from the street to the front door. We all loved the time we spent there and would highly recommend this property for it's location, ambience and authenticity.

Amazing Vacation!

Casa Paraiso is a lovely, relaxing, outstanding five star casa where we have been lucky enough to spend our Puerto Villarta vacations. From the lush foliage that greets us at the main gates to the beautiful pool and then on up to the outstanding views from the terraza overlooking the bay, we are struck by the welcoming elegance of each landing. Every morning, we were graciously served breakfast by Treni and Rosario, the wonderful housekeepers that assisted us in so many ways such as helping making reservations and preparing special meals upon requests. Need I say, how relaxing it is to sit out on our own bedroom patio, reading or just enjoying the views. The short trek to “old town” and the beach is a most fun walk taking in the local culture and colorful shops. We were minutes away from the bus stop and walking distance to many wonderful restaurants. One of our favorite adventures was visiting the Botancal Garden and restaurant. It is delightful. This was our third stay at this wonderful location and home. It is a perfect place for four couples or a family. The owners have made an indelible mark in our memories of Casa Paraiso and Puerto Villarta.

Wonderful family vacation in a beautiful home

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the lovely Casa Paraiso. We usually do an all inclusive in PV, but wanted to be closer to town and try something different. The house is just at is appears in the pictures and I can't imagine a more beautiful view of the city and the bay as from the terraces. We had a group of 8 adults but had more than enough room to spread out. We had a dinner and many breakfasts prepared by Trini and Rosaria and the cooking is fantastic. The house is in a great location, though you will be walking up and down hills at all times. There are also 62 steps from the front gate to the house entrance, which is tough with luggage. The young people in our group loved the work out and walked everywhere. I mostly took cabs back up the hill to the house to save energy for other things. It is a quick walk to the beach and to the Zona Romantica's many bars and restaurants. So many options! The pool terrace did not really ever get sun, to the disappoint of our tanners, but it is still pleasant to sit by the pool. We were on the go a lot, but I wish I had spend more time at the house and relaxing on the terraces. Maybe next time.
