House is beautiful and well maintained. The location was great. Very close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Many within golf cart driving distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. The property is centrally located between Seaside & Rosemary Beach. Plenty of room for our group of 4 adult couples. Beautiful private beach. The pool is on the backside (not the beach side) of the property. There was no direct access to the pool from the house. This made it a bit inconvenient to access. Plus...the pool water temp was FREEZING! The Pure Joy team was incredible to work with. Very responsive to all of our questions.

Perfect location on the beach, but I bit tricky trying to find it at first as it sits off 30A behind another condo complex. Everything was exceptional, but bring your own beach towels.

The BEST location. Private beach access so it's not crowded. You can ride a golf cart to seaside or other close restaurants easily. Management team and owner went above and beyond to help filling out forms so we could book a bonfire on the beach. Bikes were fun to ride. Chairs and umbrella on the beach was so nice! Highly recommend.

5-star property and Experience

You could not ask for a better location all around. House is on the beach and biking distance to Seaside and a short drive from highly recommended Alys beach. restaurants and shopping are everywhere and there was something to do for everyone in our group from infants to teenagers and of course adults!

The house itself is beautiful and the furnishings are as expected based on the photos. The location, which is near Seagrove, is nice and close to many shops, boutiques and bookstores. The bikes, pool and golf cart (available for added rent) were a plus. The negatives are: We had a hard time locating the house and the host (or whoever was answering the phone on the night of our arrival) had never been to the property and could not provide us with a description of the entrance to the property. We were never told that there was another property (road side) located behind the house we rented and that we would be sharing beach access with the tenants in that other property. There was a parade of people every day using the supposed "private" beach access to our rental. Also, there are condos located on each side of the rental resulting in those tenants crowding the beach in front of our rental every day (as the condos had their own beach chair service). While Beach Love posted a "sign" in the sand that the area in front of the rental is "private", no one paid any attention to it and there was no one to enforce it. On several days, competing beachgoers played loud music, which completely ruined our peace/relaxation. We complained to the host that the representation of "private beach access" was false but did not receive a meaningful response, apology or any effort to make up for the misrepresentation. Overall, the weekly cost of 18,000 was grossly overpriced for this property.

Awesome Beach House steps from the beach

We had our3 kids, their spouses and 4 grandkids with us and it was a perfect house and location located right in between Seaside and Rosemary. Our check-in had some problems and we were delayed over an hour when the code wouldn't work because the batteries were dead. But management made it up to us with a very nice gift basket. Some of the towels had some stains on them -- management brought over more towels. But overall we would go back to the same house if we had the opportunity.

Warning about Air Conditioning

Overall the house was perfect for our family of 12. Small problems were taken care of immediately. Would consider going back if it weren’t for the Air Conditioning. I inquired about the issue after reading a previous review of the property. I was assured the Air was in good working order. It was not. Floor 1 was very comfortable, Floor 2 was freezing at all times, and Floor 3 was miserably hot. The primary bedroom and bath were near 80 degrees at all times. Three fans were on at all times. If heat while sleeping doesn’t bother you, it is a great place to stay.

Overrated ~ Won’t stay again!!

AC is NOT routed correctly!! The only floor that stays cool is the main floor, and then you freeze!! Upstairs and downstairs is close to 80 degrees!! Their answer was AIR MATTRESSES for us to sleep on main level!!! There were 4 people displaced during our family weeklong vacation. Blood was on a blanket in the closet ~ disgusting!!! WILL NEVER STAY AT BEACH LOVE OR A REAL JOY PROPERTY AGAIN!! What we spent on this week ~ was a TOTAL WASTE AND DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! No one seemed to care ~ just basically shrugged shoulders, brought us an air mattress and 2 box fans!!!! Run!! Don’t deal with this company!!!
