Christmas in Paradise

This is our third time staying in this apartment and we love it so much. My husband and I just celebrated our 25th anniversary and it was just how I remembered it from the last time we stayed. Hanging out on the lanai watching sea turtles and listening to the ocean. If you want an amazing place to stay with all the amenities this is the place for you.

Excellent surf vacation for whole family

We had a wonderful time staying at Banyans. The condo was well appointed, comfortable, clean, and had everything we could need; especially the beautiful view. The location is perfect for a family with surfers and kids that want to ride pool. I could sit on the patio and watch my son finding creatures. Also really enjoyed the gas bbq’s on the water’s edge, perfect place to relax at the end of the day. We’ll definitely book again. Thank you!

Cute place. Loved the range hood, microwave. Nice ceiling fans. Pictures make it appear bigger than it really is. Clean. Well stocked with spices, toiletries, books, manuals, beach chairs, coolers, umbrella, noodles for pool. It has air conditioning! Wayne responded fast.

There was plentiful parking, a fully equipped kitchen and several stand up air conditioners. I would suggest updating the living room furniture as it is stained outdated and a little uncomfortable to sit on.

Also just the calming views of the ocean - not to mention the occasional whale sighting. Love the microwave drawer and the globe stove fan. A handle fell off in the kitchen and was fixed almost immediately. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend! PS Manager easy to contact and very responsive.

I had an incredible stay at Kona Bali Kai 317, with its waterfront setting and breathtaking ocean views from both the bedroom and living room. It was impressively practical and thoughtful, making it easy to feel at home. The availability of a washer and dryer was a much-needed convenience during my trip. The condo itself was incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. But what truly stole the show were the mesmerizing sunsets that painted the sky every evening. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean waves was a magical experience that I won't forget. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene and unforgettable getaway! One more delightful highlight of my stay was the fresh and delicious poke available downstairs.

Exceptional view.

Mostly great. The AC was out for a few days and it got pretty hot but it was fixed quickly. A smoke alarm went off one morning and we had trouble shutting it down but same day it was fixed. Couldn't work the microwave but didn't need it. Box fan overheated so I bought a new one. Sliding screen door to the master needs WD40 so it can slide. Whole. complex needs work but it was a good place to stay. needs WD40 so it can slide.

Exceeded Expectations for 25th Anniversary Getaway!!

The extras (kitchenware, beach chairs and umbrella, coolers) made this condo unit beyond superb! Being within sight of one of the best Poke places on the island was also a HUGE plus!This is a great unit for couples or families with littles, teens or older folks. This condo is not like any other waterfront condo in Kona. The private beach area, never ending sounds of waves, as well unimpeded views of the ocean, surfers and sunsets makes this location one of THE best on the Big Island.

Nice view but the place is tired

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was great, and overall a good experience. Parking was easy and there is an elevator if hauling up luggage and supplies to 3rd level. The condo AC was great for late afternoon and evening temps. We enjoyed sitting on the Lani and watching the surfers, Honu and the listening to the rhythm of the ocean. Cons, condo is a little outdated , furniture wise and some items need to be replaced due to rust. The dust also was caught on rust; example the lamps on the bedside. Decorative pillows had stains which makes guest uneasy especially if they are on the bed 😳. There is a pool but we never used or went in. It had no appeal. Overall satisfied.

This property is great!

We loved our stay here! We live in Tallahassee and have rented a lot of beach places in North Florida, and this one was much more generously appointed and was very clean. Kitchen has great supplies, including saran wrap, tupperware, scissors, tape, spices including salt and pepper, dish soap, sponge, etc., things that are often not included. Similarly, there was spare shampoo, soap, and even sunscreen, probably left overs from previous renters, available for use. Even band-aids and antibiotic for scrapes and cuts! So generous! There was even laundry detergent for the washer and dryer and a Pack N Play baby crib in the closet. Also, lots of beach gear available to borrow - a boogie board, pool noodles, beach chairs, and it looked like some spare masks and fins and a beach umbrella, too. Really couldn't ask for more from a rental! The location was super convenient and quieter than closer to downtown, and we loved the tide pools in front - you are literally right on the beach and can hear the ocean at night, which I loved. We saw whales from the lanai as well as surfers. Also, lots of great books - the same guide book we brought, some books on the Hawaiian language, and pamphlets from the National Parks in the area. Really, really happy with our rental - many thanks for making it easy and fun for us!

We were able to relax and did see some whales and also two sea turtles in the cove in front of the Lania. The unit was in good shape however, the entry screen door needs work. The building is starting to show bad conditions and need a lot of cosmetic work.
