Accommodations: Condominium, 1 Master Bedroom, plus 1 Queen pull out in the Sun Room or two twins in the TV-Room. 2 bath with full showers in each. 1,200 SqFt Expansive dinning area seats 6 for dinner.

The BVG Marina is a high end deluxe property with exclusive access for owners and our guests only. It is safe and private condo development in Ixtapa, Mexico. You are beachfront and our condo is located on the 8th floor (our favorite floor for the real life views). You get a breath taking ocean view of Ixtapa beach right from our balcony. Start the morning with a hot espresso and watch the sun rise or sleep in and then catch the amazing sun set views from two resort-style infinity pools that also over look the beach. At high tide you can touch the waves from the Jacuzzi! The pool area is the perfect place to have a cold one while you prepare for, or relax into the evening adventures.

This is a new property and every week new amenities arrive. We have a sports quarters, gorgeous beach furniture, pool bar, restaurant, entertainment room with billiards and card tables, tennis courts, business center, gym/fitness center and day spa with Jacuzzi and steam room. Every month we get something new!

This Bay View Grand Marina is located towards the very quiet end of Playa Palmar right next to the boat Marina and across the street from Marina Ixtapa Golf Club. You can walk right into the Marina village center for dinner or a coffee.

My husband loves to fish, and knows the best captains to take you to the best places. He can give you all the details on who to see and how to get there from a 6 minute taxi ride into the historic and authentic Mexican fishing town called Zihuatanejo. I could shop for days in those cute little streets in Zihuatanejo!

At night there are romantic walks on the beach or dinner and salsa fun with friends. The nightlife is always happening, basketball games in the town square across from the Church, and wonderful meals cooked from your catch of the day in any of the restaurants lining the bay.

There is so much to see and do- but you never even have to leave the condo! You have everything you need right there. I'll tell you, sometimes the best of days are when my husband has had a great day of fishing and I’ve spent the day with a cute little sun hat on my head- a good book downloaded to my Kindel. Perfect-simple-and- sooooo relaxing!

Our stay was fabulous as always. This was our 5th year in a row at Casa de Ross and each year is as wonderful as the last. It feels like home each year when we arrive. We love it and thank you for letting us share you home in paradise. We will definitely be booking again for next year!

The Best!!!!!

Beautiful condo...

We have stayed in the condo now for I think 8 years and it feels like home. It is beautiful and funished with everything you could possibly need. We will continue to stay here for as long as possible. LOVE IT!!!!

First Renters here at the Bay View

This was our first time to Ixtapa and we loved it! The beach is absolutely beautiful and clean. One day when we were out on the deck enjoying the sun we spotted a whole group of dolphins body surfing on the beach. They were beautiful and an odd site to see. We found some awesome restaurants my favorite being Temtaciones as the food and view are amazing. Ixtapa is a small town in Mexico and very mexican and friendly. Not at all like being in a busy tourist area. Quiet and relaxing and interesting. Best place to get away from the hectic things in life. Highly recommend Cynthia and Kevin as they are awesome hosts and will take very good care of you.

Absolutely Fantastic

This is our third time to BVGM and we can honestly say this is the best unit we have ever had. The communication from owner, to housekeeper was impeccable. We so appreciated the little things such as some one meeting us at the unit, water and snacks waiting for us as well as flowers and fresh salsa! This exceeded our expectations. Loved the gourmet pots and pans, the labeled light switches, the number of American tv stations that were available and the weekly housekeeping service. We have booked this unit again for next year and hopefully in the following years to be here for months at a time! Thank you for making us feel at home. Roy and Bonnie Meulemans

A 5 star experience

BVG Marina is a 5 star complex. We spent a week in the Ross's condo and could not have been more pleased. Everything about the place is 1st class. From the grounds to the pool to the staff to the restaurant on site. I don't know why the renter in November was not impressed. The food was great at the restaurant. And they stayed open until at least 8PM every night. Very convenient. If you ever needed a Taxi to Ixtapa town or back they were readily available for 40 peso's (3 bucks). Sounds like the previous review were trying to be cheap to me. The condo was very quiet, no building noise at all, and was stocked with everything we needed to have a great vacation. The grocery stores are in ZIH, a 10 minute ride, so you just have to take a taxi back and forth to stock up. This place rocks. Don't believe the previous review.

WOW WOW WOW!!! what more can I say. This was such a wonderful experience from the making of the reservations to day we left to go back to cold MN. My 22 year old daughter and myself spent from 2-3-11 to 2-10-11 at this beaurtiful condo. Pictures do it no justice (even though they gorgeous). It was beautiful and the view from the deck was amazing. Gabby the maid prepared homemade salsa for us and fresh limeade upon our arrival-- what a nice treat and she was sooooooo sweet. I look forward to coming back--- So relaxing and quiet. Everyone working there was wonderful too!! Cynthia was absolutely wonderful to us; feels like she is a friend.... I would give this a 10 of 10 stars and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.... In fact I have already told several people to look into saying here....

Loved this property

This was our third time staying at the Bayview Grand Marina and we loved it as much as we did the previous 2 times.The owners were very easy to deal with and quick with response time. The property manager, Axel was also very helpful and responded to questions very efficiently as well as the cleaning lady Lilly was exceptional (having made us guacamole, left fresh fruit and flowers)on top of a very clean unit. This condo has a beautiful view of the ocean and beach. The condo is very spacious and well equipped; the only thing we had to buy was clothes hangers, other than that everything we could have hoped for was there. Should we return to this condominium we would request this condo again. Our only frustration, not with the condo, but the building is the shape of the umbrellas as well as the lack of such. If you were lucky enough to get an umbrella you had to watch it was not taken away and at least 50% of the umbrellas are ready to be replaced. All in all a wonderful holiday!!

The BVG's best host,and greatest value !!

We love the Bay View Grand Marina,and have rented there 7 times now.Cynthia's place ,"805 S" is the first one that I would actually seek to repeat !There are no "bad" units in this building,but there is certainly a wide variety in terms of the furnishings ,and the level of hospitality .First and foremost,the beds are great,just like home .Second,furnishings and wall décor are well above the norm-805S just has a much warmer ,and more luxurious feel than others.The unit is a 1 bedroom/2 bathroom ,BUT, many of the 2 bedroom units sleep only 4 due to the absence of a sofa bed.This room is larger than the 2 bedroom suites we've had,and sleeps 6 comfortably with the extra curtained "Flex-Room " and sofa bed.I am not sure whether the Owner,or housekeeper,was responsible for the fresh fruit and homemade salsa,but what an unexpected treat !To sum it up ,realtors like to use the phrase "Pride of Ownership" ,805S has it in spades.Many of the others are obvious rentals.One minor suggestion ;the pots and pans could be improved,though the quality and low prices at the onsite café make cooking quite unnecessary.Thank you for a great stay Cynthia !

We loved our condo and the our communication with the owner Cynthia Ross. The pool chair rules are terrible. We waited 11 days to get a chair close to the pool. We went to the administation for help but none was offered.

A wonderful stay

My husband and I have been coming to the area now for 12 years and second time at the BVGM. This was a perfect condo for the 2 of us. We loved being on the south side. We will be back hopefully for two weeks next year. Thanks for the hospitality.

Our second stay here

Cynthia is the ultimate host. All of our needs were met here and a few surprises were thrown into the deal! We arrived to fresh flowers, an immaculately clean living space, a bowl of fresh fruit and homemade salsa. The views are breathtaking. And the weather was perfect. We will be back!

Picture Perfect Vacation

Great place to stay. Everything we expected and more. Upon walking into the condo you are immediately impressed by the beautiful views from living room and balcony. Opened the fridge to find the freshly made salsa, chips and lemonade. Condo has everything you need. Beautiful pool and grounds. Pleasant staff. Choose between a early morning walk/run on paved trail across the street or a stroll along the beach. Ixtapa restuarants and shops 10-15 minute walk. Clean inexpensive cafe on site. Highly recommend and looking forward to a return visit.

Wonderful Stay

The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible; from fresh flowers on arrival to labeled light switches. Amazing service from the housekeeper and the manager who are both lovely people. Booking was super easy and the stay very relaxing. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful condo in friendly resort.

We enjoyed our stay at bay view grand marina. The condo was nicely stocked with towels and linens. We didn't cook there but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked as well. Staff at the resort were hard working and friendly. It is a bit of a walk to the restaurants and stores but the walk down the beach is nice. Ixtapa has great restaurants and a beautiful beach. I definitely would consider staying there again if we return to ixtapa.

Welcome to our Casa de Ross! Kevin works in Solar Energy and I still do some Esthetician work and art work on the side but mostly I work for my local church here in California. We both love to travel. I travel more for the mission aspect and my husband…,well- more for the fishing! See, Kev's been fishing here for over 20 years! As a matter of fact, he wrote his first proclamation of love to me from a little salsa hut on one of these sandy beaches in Ixtapa Mexico! Eventually he brought me here and I too fell in love with the people and the beauty and simplicity of life to be found here. Your going to love it even if you hate fishing- there is so much to do- ahhhhh, and so much you don't have to do! Blessings on your adventures! Kevin & Cynthia Ross

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Kevin is an avid “ole-school” fisher man. He likes to catch the biggest fish on the lightest lines from a ponga boat. He says the best place to do that is here in Ixtapa! He holds a record for some giant fish he caught while fishing here a few years ago. We have that picture hanging in the condo and he would be more than happy to tell you all about it some day! We bought our cozy hideaway a few years ago when we saw the drawings to the Marina being built on the quiet strip of Playa Palomar. We knew this was where we wanted to spend our future retirement days together. We love to just hang out here. I almost didn't let Kevin put a TV in the Condo. We did end up putting one in with a DVD player and internet and cable access. When we retire, Ixtapa is a place we will be spending a good deal of time. But….since we are nowhere near retiring yet- we would be delighted to offer our condo for rent so you can enjoy the peace we have found here. We hope you will enjoy your stay enough to return year after year. We would love to be able to rent to the same guests for years to come and consider you a part of our Ixtapa family.

This is a new property so every week something new arrives. We have separate children's pools, a day care room that makes me want to be a kid again-, sports quarters, gorgeous beach furniture, pool bar, restaurant, entertainment room with billiards and card tables, tennis courts, business center, gym/fitness center... I can't wait for the day spa with Jacuzzi and steam room! It just keeps getting better and better. Who knows what will be here by the time you arrive!
