The hot tub was a wonderful addition for a peacful getaway. It was a perfect temperature and a great spot to relax and enjoy the lake view.Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything needed to cook and bake. Beds were comfortable and rooms were nicely decorated. Bathrooms had all the amenities needed and towels were provided for the hot tub.Host was welcoming and always avaliable for any questions or requests we had.Location was close to everything and very tranquil. The house sits between two other homes that were unoccupied so could be why it was so peaceful.We will certainly come back!

This property is well appointed and in a great location, close to town. Everything was very comfortable (beds, furniture) which made it a great place to return to after a busy day of exploring the island. The hot tub and views are an added bonus.

We had a lovely stay at this VRBO on Orcas Island. Larry has great communication right from the start and shared great info on the ferry process for those not from the area. House was walking distance to town and while in a neighborhood, peaceful and quiet. The locally roasted coffee was a wonderful touch! Highly recommend booking here

Very nice property close to town so an easy walk. Nice view and enjoyed the hot tub after a day of walking. Well furnished and with three en suite bedrooms it accommodates three couples easily, or a family. Very responsible and responsive host

Family fun

Our stay here was wonderful. This house is all as advertised and more. Serene setting only steps from Main Street shops and restaurants. Lovely water view from house and deck. Having rented many different locations over the years I can say I have never seen so well stocked bathrooms with great attention to details. Kitchen compact but well stocked with high end appliances. Comfortable and nicely decorated. Wonderful stay.

Beautiful views, well maintained property.

Loved this place, had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Hot tub was great and we used the BBQ every night. Larry did not skimp on anything from providing coffee, to having spices, napkins, paper towels, soap, shampoos and even q-tips, dental pics in all bathrooms. Have never stayed at a VRBO that had everything we needed including things like tissues throughout and specific hot tub towels. The gas fireplace was charming and worked great. Will definitely return with my family.

Eastsound Rental

Our vacation in Easthound was flawless. We had an amazing view of the lake and mountains. The house is very well equipped for any number of vacationers. It’s very close to town which was extremely convenient for groceries, dining out, etc. it’s also fairly close to the ferry boats. From a previous stay on the island we quickly learned how important those few things can be.Larry was quick to respond when contacted, from the time we made the reservation to our departure. Thanks so much, Larry!Lastly, one of our favorite things in the house (aside from the Bosch appliances) was the stand alone fireplace!

All around perfect!

Great location! Beautiful view out the back! Very clean! Nothing negative or even a small suggestion. Just Perfect! On Orcas, there is no other place we would stay.

Great Orcas getaway

This house was comfortable and relaxing for our family of six. Three beds, three baths, three floors. The view from the hot tub was fantastic and we were able to store our mountain bikes under the deck to keep them dry. We would definitely return.

Great views with easy access to the town center

Stayed here with our family and had a great time. Views were really great, centrally located to the town center, and well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. Made our visit to Orcas really easy. Would happily stay again!

Wonderful

Perfect place to stay on orcas Island. Few minutes walk from Eastsound, beautiful view of the water from the hot tub. Great kitchen, great bedrooms with good beds! We went kayaking and We went kayaking on Deer Harbor, biking on Lopez island, dinner in Eastsound, hikes in Moran.

Perfect location for exploring Eastsound and Orcas

Our family stayed here in August 2024 for a short getaway before back-to-school. It was a lovely trip. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything we could have needed - plenty of soap, shampoo, towels for the hot tub, etc. We appreciated the kids plates and utensils. The hot tub was a treat, and very clean. Easy walk into Eastsound for dinner and shopping as promised. I appreciated the easy and quick responses from the host, and they even kindly shipped me a small forgotten item once I returned home, which was very kind. We would love to return again!

Excellent location

Nice, comfortable, clean, craftsman style home. Enjoyed sitting out on the front porch looking at the view. Saw boats/ships coming and going. Wonderful stay on the island!

Perfect and peaceful spot near East Sound

Larry's home was fantastic! He communicated promptly and clearly. The home was very clean, well stocked, and the beds and linens were luxurious. The home was very walkable to the downtown as long as you are comfortable with 100yd of elevation. We had an exceptional time and made great family memories. We would be thrilled to return in the future.

Overall our week went well. It was a nice house but with some minor cleanliness issues. The wood stove was out of commission for a week which we weren’t told about until we called. Space heaters were provided and worked very will though. Owner was very responsive when contacted. The kitchen was stocked with glasses, plates, knives and bathrooms with towels, linens, soaps, lotions and paper products. Great views of the bay and nice hot tub.

Family getaway

Loved this property. It was so clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved hanging on the porch with our coffee/tea and being able to see the water. It is easy walking distance from the cute town of Eastsound. The Brown Bear bakery is closed Tues-Thurs., but we did get to experience that yumminess Friday morning as we were leaving. It did meet all expectations. A must try! The hot tub was really nice to soak in after a full day of hiking. The top of Mt. Constitution was amazing. The waterfalls are refreshing. All the pictures we took as a family were awesome. We hope to come back some day. Larry, the host made it so easy to know everything needed for this home. There is also great books and references to read over. Everything was easy for us this trip

Amazing home

We had a lovely stay and the home is just beautiful with a fantastic kitchen and spacious bedrooms and living area. We especially enjoyed the patio and hot tub and views from the home. Our host Larry was very helpful and responsive and I look forward to staying here again! The home is super close to town and we easily walked the 10 minutes to get to the cute village area. Our kids loved having the room downstairs to play in and hang out with comfy sofa and games. Highly recommend this property!

Clean, comfortable, and lovely location

Cool location near Eastsound. Lovely setting. House was very clean, nicely furnished. All three bedrooms had comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped. Definitely would recommend to others.

very happy

The house was perfect, new listing, new utensils, everything worked, clean and fresh. All which made for a perfect quite island getaway. The host was very responsive to questions and with suggestions for activities on the island. House is within walking distance to the downtown area, which was great to go get breakfast at the not to be missed Brown Bear bakery, lunch and dinner at one of the fine restaurants or an evening cocktail. Island is small and easy to explore with several good hikes, making the hot tube at the house great to relax the leg muscles. We shopped at the small market for fresh fish which we cooked on the grill at the house, for some of the best seafood I've had in a while. The home owner supplied some bottles of herbs and seasoning which made cooking that much easier. we treated the home like it was our own, because it was that easy to feel comfortable in.
