My mood turned from good to great as soon as I walked into the door of this beautiful house. Perfect for a family of four and not too big to make you feel like you're paying for more than you need. I loved being right on the beach with a view of both the downtown pier to the north and Los Arcos to the south. Eric is a great host and we appreciated everything he and his staff did to make our stay perfect. The 15 minute walk along the beach to the Zona Romantica is a major benefit versus having to take a cab to get to town. I want to stay every time i visit PV now. Thank you!

I can't say enough GREAT things about our stay here! I have told countless people to come and we plan to come back too. Eric, the house manager is exceptional. He arranged everything from transportation, massages, recommendations, setting the menu, daily homemade margaritas and so much more!!! Mirella and Alma were outstanding! The food they made was better than any food we tasted outside of the house! Having someone make us breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks was such a treat and ever better than ordering at a restaurant or hotel. They were full of smiles and service. Our rooms, bathrooms and the whole property was always perfect! The beds were comfortable, the property just amazing! The pool was a perfect temp, it felt like a hot tub and a pool all together. The little beach next door was super nice to have, it was mostly private, a few people each day and a few more on the weekends but nothing like big beaches. Also, a cute little bar next door to our place, which we did go once just to say we went bc the view was cool!

We had a wonderful time at this Home in Puerto Vallarta. The property was clean, well-appointed, and exactly as described. The views were stunningā€”especially at sunsetā€”and the location was perfect: on the beach, restaurants close by and local attractions. The host-Eric was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The home is beach front, with breathtaking views from every room. The staff is amazing, and the chef prepares fresh delicious meals everyday. You feel absolutely pampered during your stay. Eric the property manager can set up just about anything for you, from massages, fresh flowers and personal chefs for special occasions. This was our second stay here and will return year after year!

we very much enjoyed our week at casa maria elena. the house is lovely and well appointed & stocked. eric, mireilla, and alma were of constant and warm welcome, and they arranged everything from transport to groceries, delicious meals, house cleaning, and laundry. we took morning dips in the water before the beach filled up; and it was fun to watch the families spend the day on the coast. the cove looks rocky, but it is sheltered and clean and great for just bobbing. looking forward to a return visit during whal season.

Beautiful, Relaxing!

The home and the location were amazing! Walking distance to town, restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the beach just steps from the door. Spent our mornings on the patio drinking coffee and watching the city come to life. The evening sunsets were breath taking from the home. Whale watching from the patio turned out to be a show of a lifetime!

Simply AMAZING!

The property is stunning! Very well taken care of, well equipped and boasts the absolute best, unobstructed view to the ocean from all of the rooms. Michael the host was very responsive and Eric, Alma and Mireya with the property management company were great to work with and incredibly helpful. We were there celebrating my husband's 45th birthday and it was a perfect stay. I cannot say enough good things about the house, amenities and service. 10 out of 10 recommended. We're already talking about our next visit back!

Amazing Time

Phenomenal place to relax and take it the beach, pool and weather. Eric, Mirella and Alma took fabulous care of us. Great meals, cleaned house, transpiration to/from airport, helped with laundry and places to go. Bought groceries we wanted and set up jet skis and paddle boards. Weather was a overly hot and humid (October) and house only has AC in bedrooms but otherwise an incredible stay.

Everything we expected!

This property is everything described in the VRBO listing, and more! Eric, the property manager was wonderful and so easy to work with. He made our stay easy and extremely enjoyable. Maria was delightful and a "breath of fresh air" and brightened our stay. We are planning our next trip back to the same house. Casa Maria Elena is a magical get-a-way. I highly recommend it to anyone ready to have a relaxing trip to Puerto Vallarta.

Amazing stay at Casa Maria Elena

The view from the home was incredible and it was an easy 15-20 minute walk to the boardwalk of Puerto Vallarta. The beach a step away from the property is very nice and when it got a little crowded it was great to enjoy the infinity pool. All the rooms were very comfortable with amazing views. I really couldn't have picked a better place for my girlfriend and me to stay. On the last 2 days of our stay my 2 friends joined us and they were also stunned by how picture perfect this home was. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The meals we ate at the home may have been the best meals of our trip. Thank you so much!

DO believe the hype

This property almost sounded too good to be true from the reviews and we were actually a little nervous about that! But, it was in fact as good as it sounds and then some. As others have said, the location on the beach cannot be beat and Mirella's food is absolutely amazing. The pictures on this page do not do the house justice. Eric is the best property manager I've ever met and a really great guy. This is a great place to relax and unwind and eat some really amazing food while you're at it.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Most notably, however, was the staff, Alma and Mirella, who were attentive, pleasant and so, so kind. Eric, who manages the home, was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. He went above and beyond on more than one occasion to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Outside of being highly knowledgeable, Eric genuinely cares about making the experience perfectly tailored to your needs, and his passion for hospitality is evident. Everything was exceptional and the villa was even more beautiful than expected!

We had a wonderful experience at Casa Maria Elena. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff was so kind and accommodating. We ventured out only a couple of times, but were perfectly content staying put. We thought the public beach would be a nuisance, it wasnā€™t at all. In fact we enjoyed seeing weddings, engagements, quinceanera photos and families spending time together. Also, fireworks around us every evening! We had a great time and canā€™t wait to go back and do it again. Resorts are great, but this experience will be hard to beat in the future. Thank you Eric and staff! See you again soon!

Amazing Vacation

We just returned from an unforgettable vacation at Casa Maria Elena!! From the moment we walked into this amazing Villa, we were all enamored with the beauty of this lovely property! It was definitely beyond our expectations! The rooms were stunning and you cannot beat the location right on the beach! Upon our arrival, we met the wonderful staff! Eric the property manager welcomed us with open arms! Throughout our stay he went out of his way to make sure that every one of our needs were met! Mirella, prepared amazing meals! Breakfast lunch and dinner were so good that we opted to have her make all three meals on almost every day. Alma kept the house spotless and even did our laundry daily! We were treated just like family! We cannot stop talking about our wonderful stay at Casa Maria Elena!

Amazing week in PVR - Cannot wait to return

Just returned from an amazing week at Casa Maria Elena. It was our first visit to this incredible property but will not be our last. The pictures of the home and surroundings do not do it justice. There is simply no way to describe the feeling you get the first time you step through the door and see the expansive ocean view. And while the house itself is amazing, it's complimented by our new extended family. The team onsite constantly went out of their way to ensure every moment of our visit was nothing short of exceptional. There's literally nothing I'd change about this trip, except perhaps extending it by a few more days. Casa Maria Elena is an amazing property with an outstanding team and an incredible location. You cannot go wrong here. We'll be back.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE!

The surprise you have when you walk in the door to this marvelous house and the breathtaking views, this was the start of our 7 day vacation at Casa MarĆ­a Elena. We traveled as 3 couples and had 3 master suites each of which had a unique feel and equally gorgeous views. Eric paid attention to all the details from transportation, having food and drinks prepared for our arrival and all the adventures for the days of our vacation. The house is kept by Mirella and Alma, two wonderful women who pampered us during our stay. Mirella cooked delicious breakfast and lunches for us and Alma made sure all our clothes came home washed and folded. Wow!!!!! Before I forget mention we saw whales everyday of our stay! Casa MarĆ­a Elena will be a yearly retreat!

Daily maid and food services offered:

Daily maid service and preparation of breakfast and/or lunch are included with the rental, we just ask that renters pay the cost of food and alcohol during their stay. For a reasonable fee, our Property Manager, Eric, will pick up any requested items for the kitchen or bar prior to your arrival or during your stay, as well as pick up from and to the airport, and can provide car service around town or arrange for reservations for day trips, such as: fishing; jungle tours (ATV and/or zip line); golf; whale watching; snorkeling; surfing; jet ski rentals; diving; etc... Eric, will keep a tab of these additional expenses and present you with a final bill to be paid prior to your departure. He will explain the services he offers, along with fees and answer any other questions you may have about the property.

Our cook, Mirella (pronounced MEER-EH-YA) regularly prepares breakfast and lunch, and she will prepare dinners for an extra fee as well. A typical breakfast includes fresh coffee, squeezed OJ, a fruit plate, toast, eggs and bacon. Lunch usually includes fresh juice, salsa, guacamole, fried taquitos. She has menu of meal options for breakfast and lunch - typically traditional Mexican - that she will show you on your first day, so you can request other options for the following day(s). For an additional fee, she will also prepare items from her dinner menu. She is an amazing cook.
