NOTICE: West Tower exterior restoration is scheduled for November 29, 2026–February 19, 2027. Guests may experience construction-related noise during this time. Balcony closures will occur as work progresses. From January 18–February 19, 2027, the West Pool, Hot Tub, and Splash Pad will be closed. The East Pool, Lazy River, and Kiddie Pad are expected to remain open. All dates, work schedules, and amenity closures are subject to change.


Registration: A $40 per-vehicle registration fee is due at check-in and paid directly to the resort; this includes one parking pass and wristbands (required for guests ages 5+), with additional parking passes available at an extra cost.

ABOUT SPLASH BEACH RESORT
Splash Resort's amenities are quite unique among Gulf Coast resorts and there is something here for everyone. There is a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi located right next to the main kids play area where the water slides and enormous bucket that dumps hundreds of gallons of water every 45 seconds are located. There is also a state of the art fitness facility overlooking the pool and lazy river. There is a poolside Bar & Grill with tables by the pool and a reasonably priced menu. High Speed Internet access is available many common areas around the resort, including a Wi-Fi lounge area with comfortable seating.

Check in was easy and pretty quick. There is a 40 charge for parking regardless of how long you stay it seems. The condo itself was ok. We didn’t stay in the room much except changing and sleeping. The dishwasher was pretty moldy inside and when I did go to use a brown the first day we arrived the bowls were wet in the drawers. One of the days someone came banging on the door in the morning. Seems like they got a work order for a broken bathroom fan but both fan were working so not sure what that was about. The first day in we went down to the beach then came up to the pool. While sitting on the lounge chairs I happened to shift in the chair and after a couple minutes I feel something brush my arm and hear a thunk next to me. Someone threw a half eaten Reese’s cup from a balcony. Not sure who it was. The security checked two rooms but as they have cameras not sure why they didn’t play it back and find out who it was quickly and address the situation. I wasn’t hurt but it seemed weird that it’s only serious if someone gets hurt instead of taking action for any action of throwing things from the balconies. But the security the next day wouldn’t let my daughter in the hot tub. She is old enough but her wrist band broke the first day she got it. Something so unserious he acted like was a big deal and something that should have been resolved was brushed off.

Clean, spacious, but needs new furniture

The place was clean and very roomy. If anything needs improvement it would be the furniture. The sofa and chair need replacing. They are old and worn. The bunk beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were very spacious.

The resort itself I very much enjoyed. The parking garage was nicely set up and finding a spot was super easy. I love that you can check into the resort itself before accessing your room so you can use the pool and the other amenities on the property. The kiddie pool playground area is rather cold as it’s fully shaded. So yes it’s nice not having to worry about sunburns but it’s not enjoyable to be in the water for some. Same for one of the regular size pools. The elevators varied by time and day as to whether they would function quickly or not. Some days we waited over 10 minutes for an elevator. The room itself was clean. The master bath had some form of black mold on the ceiling but the management company sent someone out within an hour of us telling them. The sliding glass door was basically non functional upon arrival, to the point we broke the door handle trying to open the door. Which for me was the biggest let down as I love the balcony. We notified the management company and someone came the next day to fix the door handle. The door was slightly easier to open after that, but still very hard. We did not have blankets of any kind provided for the pull out sofa but I’ll admit I did not call the company about this as we had brought some our own. I’m sure had I called they would have brought some. The kitchen was missing what I think are basic items, a measuring cup and a can opener.

We appreciate you letting our team know about the bathroom ceiling and the sliding door, and we're glad we could respond within the hour for one and send someone out the next day for the other. Your comments about the door still being difficult have been shared with our maintenance team and the owner so it can be fully addressed. As for the blankets, measuring cup, and can opener, we're always happy to deliver extras upon request, so please call or text our team during any future stay and we'll get those to you as quickly as possible. The pools, shaded kiddie area, and elevators are managed by the resort, and we understand how the elevator waits can affect your day during busier periods. Disappointed

This condo had a good bed and was clean. That is about the only think about the room that was good. The living room furniture was pathetic, and there was no cable or satellite tv as advertised. The property manager was attentive to the cable issue but couldn’t resolve. The property manager ,panhandle destinations, was also very responsive to all questions.

Great family Spring Break

Great for the price. Fun property. Impossible to keep clean while we were there with no broom or functioning vacuum. We called maintenance and housekeeping but no one ever came with a broom. The old mop handle came in handy for holding the dryer door closed. There were not enough sheets and covers for the bunk beds. Assuming this was all an oversight by housekeeping. All of that couldn’t ruin the great stay!! Great crowd of families in the building over spring break and friendly staff on the premises.

Nice property BUT

Overall Condo was nice BUT upon walking in noticed the curtain for balcony was partially down so we couldn't shut it so I called and supposedly maintenance was coming but never showed up so 6am when sunrise the while living room was bright. Nighttime fell and now we about to get in king bed and noticed there was a dip right in center if bed so we climbed in and we rolled right in the middle so i looked under bed and noticed they had more support legs laying on floor and the rest that was attached was slanted so we tried to sleep and at 3:45am the whole frame split in and the bed was broke so now our heads are l

Great kid friendly condo

If you have pre-teen through toddler aged children this is a great condo for you! Covered splash pad, swimming pools, lazy river and toddler play water area. So close to the beach! Great amenities and room was totally set up for kids and very accommodating.

Perfect Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended for an additional day. The weather was fabulous, the condo had everything we needed, and we were close to anything we needed from the grocery, pharmacy, and the pier. The children loved the bunk beds, and I enjoyed having a giant bath tub to myself!

You get what you pay for. I felt that this place was very dirty, no Response from property manager when called twice that both TV’s & garbage disposal wasn’t working. Trash behind the couch no extra sheets or blankets. Very sandy everywhere in room.

Great if you have small kids!

VRBO makes it easy and is always accurate. Unit was nice and clean, it was our 6th year in a row to that the grandkids so Splash. All good except the slow elevators. We rented 3 units. See you next year.

over a week stay in Panama City Beach

Our family had a great time at " Splash" the location was great with easy access to Panama city and of course it is on the fabulous Panama city beach. we had a minor problem which was corrected as soon as we notified the staff. Parking was free with easy access and the staff and security were very helpful.

Panama Beach 2016

A nicely furnished condo with a great view. Wonderful beach with soft sand shallow water. very easy reservation process working with nice and knowledgeable people.a man came to check condo 15 minutes after our arrival. Good location ,far end of beach.
