Oceanfront VIP condo sleeps up to 8 people with a king bed in the master bedroom, two doubles in bedroom 2, two queens in bedroom 3. With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 219 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool.
Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This up-to-date property has a spacious kitchen, elegant decor, and outstanding views that make Ocean One 219 an excellent property.

Great location. Nice facilities. The condo was very comfortable and well equipped. The furnishings were very comfortable and in good order. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

There was quite a bit of dust throughout the property that seemed like it had not been cleaned very thoroughly in a while. The pool area was very nice and well maintained.

Having been in the beach condo rental business, there were some small things that could have easily been upgraded. Not enough hangers in the closets ( queen room for 2 adults only had 6 hangers). There was no tea kettle. Toilet seat / cover in Queen room was old and black marks showing through. The TV's were impossible to work. Batteries were either dead or there was a communication issue. We ended up watching foitball and movie on our laptops. None of these are big ticket items and could easily be remedied. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom wad a plus.

Reviewer Comments: Been renting condos at Ocean One HHI for 37 years, HHI never fails for our large group vacation!We mostly have rented from Seashore vacations over the years which have been easy to work with.Our stress this year is the cost vs the quality units we rent, rent has gone up significantly every year yet the units deteriorate so not getting the value we were used to. Leaky toilets, ripped screens, furniture old and tired, bed linens old, cabinet doors peeling, patio furniture for 4 people only, wallpaper peeling off the wall,and the whole unit needed to be paint years ago. I know seashore can’t force the owners to update but weekly price does not reflect the quality of the unit.

Clean and Perfect Location

The beds were comfortable to sleep on and the bathrooms were all in working and clean condition. The location of the condo was perfect. We had an awesome view of the ocean and the pool. We had a perfect view of the kids when they went to swim in the pool on their own. It was a short distance walk to the beach as well. We had a very nice experience at the condo.

Great first visit to Hilton Head

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our week at Ocean One. Great location and very comfortable for our group of six. The only issues we had were: 1) a tech/TV issue, but the mgmt company sent someone to troubleshoot it very quickly; 2) two of the shower curtain liners appeared moldy; and 3) the kitchen supplies weren't up to par. The baking sheets in particular were completely unusable and I was shocked that they were kept in the unit to be offered to guests. Other than these minor things, we had a great stay and are likely to return to Ocean One, although I probably won't stay in 219 again.

Convenient location, excellent beach

We enjoy staying at Ocean One. We can walk to everything - grocery, dining, ice cream. The beach is awesome, and we like having lifeguards. We are a family of 10 and have plenty of room for all in the 3-bedroom and everyone has their own bathroom. We also cook quite a few meals at the condo and appreciate the full kitchen.

Accoutrements are sparce if staying a week or more, so bring your own tp, paper towels, dish/dishwasher soap. Would recommend condo owner install blind at front door as curtain would blow around if patio sliding door was open. Overall a great place to stay, grounds were beautiful and staff is friendly and approachable!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great ocean view overlooking the pool.There is an elevator. Plenty of parking. While work was being done on other unit balconies it did not interfere with our stay. The kitchen appliances appeared to be fairly new and there was a washer/dryer in the unit. There is more than enough of both intact, broken, old and dirty kitchenware. The cabinets are so full of this overabundance that there is little room for grocery items even in the pantry that also has one side full of broken, dirty items . There was no working can opener, extremely flat bed pillows, and very worn furniture. Far too many nick-nacks, and family photos. As a renter, these very dusty items all had to be relocated to childproof for the week. These owners treasures should be safely stored in the owners closets. The unit is in need of a thorough deep cleaning, inventory of items that can be tossed as well as a repainting. Less is more...Less of the unnecessary clutter and more of the necessary clean for the renter. We did have an issue with a leaking/broken shower head that was promptly attended to by the management company. We would stay at Ocean One again but in a different unit.

Beach access also easy. Close to everything one might need. Clean, comfortable condo with a great view. Looks exactly as pictured. Beds reasonably comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here.
