1,800 sq ft condo with wrap-around balcony nestled in the palm trees, private pool, sleeps 6, all new kitchen, beach 100m out front gate, 24-hour security, luscious tropical gardens outside. The perfect holiday retreat.

We have everything you need for the perfect stay: large bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, high speed wi-fi and office space, fresh bedding & fluffy towels, A/C and ceiling fans, room for everyone to work or play.

Playa Hermosa, 25 min drive from Liberia Airport, is the best location in Costa Rica! It balances "all the conveniences" with lush, tranquil and walkable. It feels developed and safe, and also authentic, close to nature, and vibrant.

Around Las Brisas is some amazing food options:
- La Casita del Marisco, a top-favourite for regulars and visitors alike
- Up the street is Gingers terrific Asian fusion
- El Velero Beach BBQ
- AquaSport for casual fare and live music
- El Mangrove, a chic beach resort restaurant
- Villa del Sueno for Friday night live music and excellent food & service

Outside of Hermosa, Playa Coco is 10 minutes away by car, with more options for food and drink, shopping, and a bustling musical nightlife, Ocotal lava beach is a cool must-see, and a golf course 20 min away.

The Playa Hermosa area is active in eco-tourism and a central hub for day-trips. Choose an eco-adventure, tranquil beach day, or cocktail on a sunset cruise (or… choose all 3!)

- rent kayaks or SUPs and do a guided tour of Hermosa and nearby bays (reach no-walking-access private beaches!) - we recommend John from AquaSport!

- sailing tours - Kuna Vela is our fave
- five National Parks within a few hours drive (day-trips)
- Lake Arenal (2 hours drive), with a live volcano, hot springs and world class spas. You can also wind surf at Lake Arenal, it's a world famous spot.
- Boat tour in the Palo Verde Reserve to see exotic birds, crocodiles, and most likely monkeys.
- Guatil is where the local pottery is made using traditional methods.

Great condo

The condo was perfect with all the essentials of home We loved the large porch which is great for relaxing and dining In addition, the pool is a good size for exercise Most important the beach is a five minute walk and has good restaurants This is our second year at Playa Hermosa. Given its location it is convenient for day trips such as Rincon de vieja, snorkelling at Ocotel beach, the Llamas de Cortez waterfall, etc This condo and the Las Brisas development make an ideal vacation spot

The villa and its location and pool were perfect for our family vacation. The villa is very comfortable, fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The amazing beach is right at the gate - so it is just a short walk to excellent restaurants and snorkeling/swimming. Highly recommended.

Amazing place

This place is beautiful inside and out. The owners have thought of everything to have there to make your stay comfortable! The entire time there the beach wasn't overly crowded and there was no one at the pool each day we went to use it. We loved being able to come into the air conditioning after a day in the sun and lounge on the gorgeous deck over looking the pool with sights/sounds of iguanas and birds!

Great location and beautiful condo

A lovely stay at Las Brisas 2.2. The condo is just as pictured, and was very spacious for our family of four. Pictures cannot do the pool justice! Crystal clear water and a gorgeous setting. The location of the condo for us was ideal. Safe and easy walking to many restaurants, a 2 minute walk to the beach, and great access to the airport and day trips if you have a rental car. The check-in was a bit of a hiccup, but the owner response time when we contacted them about it was immediate, and everything was rectified instantly. I would say having 100% trust in the owners when you are travelling in a foreign country is super important for us. They will definitely be there for you if you need them, and they answered all my little questions promptly and in detail via email before we left. Very easy to work with. Overall a great stay, love the Costa Rican people and the food at every restaurant we went to (6 different ones we ate at within an easy stroll of the condo) was the best food all 4 of us have ever had on vacation!!

A lovely restful experience!

We had a wonderful time! The property was lovely and comfortable, and I spent every morning and evening enjoying the amazing balcony! The pool was gorgeous and the area was private and quiet. The beach was just a short walk away and we found so many fun activities, including kayaking around the coast, and snorkeling around Monkey Head Rock. We had a last minute change to our reservation and the property owner was so understanding and accommodating. Would definitely return!!

Paradise found!

We were so impressed by our accommodations for our family vacation in Playa Hermosa. The layout was perfect with so much room for our family of five. We especially loved the outdoor area where we spent a great deal of time for meals or just relaxing in the living area. This condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed, right down to the drying rack outside we could hang wet bathing suits on. The pool was fabulous and during our week we had it all to ourselves. We loved that this condo was private and quiet but still so close to the beach and many restaurants. Our favourite thing to do was to go to the beach at the end of the day to see the most amazing sunsets! We will definitely return to beautiful Costa Rica and would highly recommend this condo to anyone thinking of visiting Playa Hermosa.

This place is perfect.

This place is perfect! Everything in the condo was clean, in good repair and looks just like the pictures. It’s in a gated community that’s lush and manicured, with flowers everywhere. Inside all was peaceful, private and secure. You could spend your whole stay on the balcony cooled by one of the many ceiling fans or laying in the sun by the private pool. Outside the hustle bustle of the beach was waiting when we wanted it. Fun beach bars, restaurants and really good beach massages. (Ask around near the El Velero for Sue.) We need to exercise. The private pool is long enough to do serious lengths and next door is the Condovac resort, where we were permitted to use the gym every morning. We were going to take out Condovac’s kayaks to go snorkeling, but there were plenty of fish to see just off the rocks at the north end of the beach. The ride from/to the Liberia airport was short, on good highways and our flight (from Toronto, Canada) was direct. It does not get any better! We will return!

Beautiful, attractive and well-maintained

I loved the condo as soon as I saw it -clean, bright and well-designed (bonus - new appliances) with a spacious, airy balcony overlooking the pool, which is partially surrounded by cascading bougainvilleas. The beach and a beach-side restaurant (Marisco's -excellent seafood) are 5 minutes away. A fitness centre is also closeby where you can work off the calories from your delicious meal at Marisco's. There are many activities to choose from in the area - one of my favourites being the sunset tour on a sailboat. I've been to this beautiful condo twice and can't wait to go back and explore more of Costa Rica.

The property was beautifuly maintained

The condo was beautifully appointed with new appliances and fresh linens. The rooms were spacious with a large patio overlooking the pool area. Fragrant flowers were in abundance everywhere. The property was spotless and well maintained. The Playa Hermosa beach was amazing with white sand and roaring waves and never overcrowded. There were many restaurants in the area with a menu and price to suit everyone. We sampled several and were never disappointed. Amenities included a membership in a nearby resort for those of us who wanted to enjoy the gym or a cocktail at sunset. The listing was accurate regarding the property and the amenities and best of all it was 25 minutes from the airport. One afternoon we took a cruise on a yacht and enjoyed cocktails while watching the sunset. I highly recommend this property for a stellar vacation. I am planning my vacation there next January.

High standards fulfilled

I stayed in Las Brisas for 3 weeks in November, early December. It was perfect for my needs. Exceptionally clean and beautiful, lots of natural light, organized, and so many details attended to. It is clear that Winston and Lucia care about their visitors having a wonderful experience. I was working while I was there, so the fast connectivity was crucial and never let me down. I managed to break away from work everyday for a swim in the best pool I have ever been in, bar none. It was cleaned every morning, surrounded by beautiful landscape, had no trace of chemical, and it was large enough to actually improve my strokes. Despite being a shared pool there was only one time in the 3 weeks that anyone else was in it. I still dream about that pool. I also love that the ocean, beach and restaurants were a quick walk across the road and a gym and incredible view were just up the hill. (You can get there on foot for a good little workout or there are continuous shuttles to take you up and down). The kitchen was well-equipped. With a car it is easy to explore the area and the neighbouring town of Playa Coco has everything from excellent grocery stores to fun restaurants and night life. But it was nice to return to the quiet of Playa Hermosa. I would highly recommend Las Brisas to a single person needing to get some work done in the sun or to a couple. I also think I would love to bring my family as there is lots of room inside and out for the kids to play. Good value for a beautiful and comfortable place.

Las Brisas is a beautiful place!

A perfect trip to amazing Costa Rica! The condo is comfortable, well-equipped, spacious, and elegantly decorated, with a delightful balcony overlooking the pool. Access to the hilltop resort next door is included. The property is safe, well-maintained and surrounded by lush tropical plants and trees. A short walk to the beautiful beach and many restaurants! Lucia and Winston are friendly and caring hosts, responding promptly to questions and providing lots of essential information about arriving in Costa Rica, the condo and surroundings, local restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. We hope to return to Las Brisas!

Great Spot

Overall, excellent stay. Upon arrival we were greeted by the property manager and felt welcome and at ease instantly, location was exactly as described. Pool and accommodations were fantastic. Semi Private pool, and easy access to outside living would be two of the best highlights. We enjoyed Playa Hermosa...Much more relaxed vibe than Tamarindo. Could do our own thing and never had to worry about ‘fighting for a spot on the beach'. Prior to trip, communication with Winston was outstanding. During the trip it was almost N/A, as everything was already so well set up, and so much information was provided re: where to go/options for dinner etc. there was no need for communication during the trip. The Condovac, with it’s amazing Gym and the Hiltop pool bar for sunset drinks is another amazing plus. Lastly, ease of access from airport is great.

We travelled across Costa Rica before finding everything we were looking for in Las Brisas and Playa Hermosa. It was the perfect condo as it was spacious, tropical, breezy and has a gorgeous balcony literally right in the palm trees. 100 meters to the beach and surrounded by delicious food, drinks, and both locals and tourists, it felt like we found a bit of Costa Rica that was developed yet still a little "undiscovered". We love sharing this wonderful spot with others.
