We have stayed at many rental properties over the last 10 years and have to say this one was the most disappointing one we have encountered. The unit itself is in need of a paint refresh. There were scuff marks on just about every wall. The paint on the bathroom ceiling was falling off. The shower would not drain properly and we were told that it was because it gets glogged with hair! Should be cleaned thoroughly after each quest visit! The two area rugs were so full of dust that when you walked on them you could see the dust float through the air (the sun light coming through the patio doors captured this) This was also the case with the couch. They did provide some laundry soap and dryer sheets, but no other items to clean with. The one positive was the pool on the top floor, the view was amazing! Overall we were quite disappointed with our stay at this particular unit.

Perfect Getaway

This apartment is in one of the newest buildings on the block afforded us modern amenities with a perfect location. The building felt new and it was very well maintained. The roof top pool is exquisite and also had a hot tub both facing the coastline which gave for fabulous views of the sunset and the Sail pier landmark. The view inside the apartment faced inland which was also a nice change from the beach and gave us a very peaceful view inland towards the lush mountains and more ‘urban’ life but still felt private. The A/C unit worked well and at times too well so we had to use extra blankets. The bathroom was perfect. The gym in the building felt Equinox level aesthetic and very well kept. My favorite part of the building was the dual entrance that let us shortcut between the beach front and the nightlife. The location cannot be beat. Communication with the manager was minimal but they reached out several times to make sure we were happy. There were even welcome snacks and beverages which were a nice touch (we ate all of it). My ONLY gripe was the weak internet but who needs it when PV is at your doorstep. Would definitely stay again.

Good but a couple hiccups

PROS: - Great location in zona romantica near all the bars, restaurants and beach - Rooftop pool is very nice with a perfect view of the sunset - Room was clean and modern CONS: We lost both electricity and water during our stay at the same time. During the night all the appliances and lights would flash on and off making it impossible to sleep so we had to shut everything off through the breaker box. The electricity came back the next day but there was still no water and our host could not say when it would return. It seems this was an issue with the building and not our specific apartment. However, this made for a very uncomfortable experience as we weren’t able to shower or flush the toilets. We scrambled to find a nearby hotel. The host did refund us for the remainder of our stay. They also offered to move us to a different building but the location was not ideal.
