(15 miles), the twin villages of Appledore and Instow (13.5 miles) and the surfer’s paradise, Saunton Sands (17 miles).
Original panelling in dark, attractive wood, ancient beams and stone-flagged flooring have been lovingly maintained in this 700-year-old cottage. Head up the wooden staircase to the first floor to find the three remaining bedrooms. The largest is a fantastic super-king-size with a four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom, complete with its very own freestanding bathtub. Equally as appealing, two twin rooms can also be found on this floor, each served by a refreshing and spacious family shower room. As if the interior wasn’t as impressive enough, the property enhanced further by its garden.
The outdoor space is made up of an acre of lawn that curves around the cottage.
