Private on-site parking for up to two vehicles, large covered lanai with adjacent outdoor shower greets you as you approach the front door of The Cottage. Step inside and you'll feel right at home with the open layout, high ceilings, modern ceiling fan, split A/C system, surrounded by windows allowing in the sunlight to create a bright and airy feel inside The Cottage @HaleOahu.

Upgraded cabinets, appliances, flooring and furniture throughout. A Queen sleeper sofa for two on the right side of the living area and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV to the left of the entry area. The long kitchen countertop surface is ready for your vacay foodie festivities! This kitchen was built to be loved and lived in and it truly is the beautiful focal point of the home as you walk through the front door. Well-stocked with a Vitamix blender, rice cooker, Crock-Pot, toaster, pots/pans, foil wrap, plastic wrap, Ziploc bags, storage containers...really everything to help you feel right at home!

Beautifully custom-crafted steps take you up from the kitchen and living area into the private bedroom, separated with a high-quality mirrored pocket door. Enjoy the privacy and comfort of this Queen-size bedroom, with closet space and a multi-use sliding barn-style door for both the bathroom and the linen closet. Fully-tiled bathroom with modern cabinet and lighting, walk-in shower and back door access for coming and going, airflow, and for convenient proximity to the outdoor washer / dryer area and beach amenity storage.

All AvantStay guests have access to our 24/7 guest experience line, a dedicated hospitality manager, and hotel-grade amenities.

Home Truths:
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Refuse services are Wednesdays and Saturdays - an AvantStay team member will take the trash out to its respective area and return it later in the afternoon.
- Landscaping Services are every Friday between 9a-12p
- This home does not have an ocean view.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

Wonderful Cottage in Kailua on the Beach
This was a quick visit to see my son who attends HPU and lives a few miles away from the cottage. The cottage was perfect for the two of us with a separate bedroom and sofa bed in living area. Cottage is a very short walk to the Beach on sanded Beach path. Very clean and all the supplies we needed. Would definitely stay here again, Kailua is a great area to visit and the beach is beautiful.

Whatta Stay!
Loved this cozy little cottage by the beach. It was perfect for an end-of-summer stay for my husband and myself. We had a great time and wanted for nothing as this cottage was fully stocked with all essentials and then some. The beach is literally steps away and what an incredibly BEAUTIFUL beach it is! In our opinion it is THE best beach in all of Oahu because it is easily accessible, not crowded, swimmable, and expansive. We will be visiting again, SOON!
