Cove Cottage ligger pÄ en kulle med en vacker utsikt över havet. Det har utsikt över Cove Beach, bara 3 minuters promenad bort. Ligger mellan Cannon Beach och Manzanita, Àr stugan omgiven av de gamla tillvÀxtskogarna i Oswald West State Park. Delar av Oregon Islands National Wildlife Sanctuary syns frÄn vardagsrummet. Njut av en grill eller havets ljud frÄn dÀck. Eller titta pÄ skytte stjÀrnor pÄ natten frÄn Marquis 3-personers badtunna som ligger pÄ dÀck.

Cove Beach Àr en av de minst kÀnda strÀnderna pÄ norra Oregon kusten. Titta pÄ pelikaner och skarv frÄn vardagsrummet nÀr de gÄr pÄ Castle Rock, en del av Oregon Islands National Wildlife Sanctuary. Under lÄgvatten exponeras en vidstrÀckt sandstrand vid Cove Beach. Det Àr vanligt att ha hela tvÄ milstranden för dig sjÀlv en sÀllsynt behandling inte bara för Oregon, utan för större delen av vÀrlden. Under högvatten Àr det inte mycket sand exponerat, men du kan köra en mil till Arch Cape Beach dÀr det alltid finns sand. Eller inom 6 miles söderut kan du besöka Manzanita Beach, en strÀcka pÄ sju mil till stranden.

Cove Cottage har nyligen totalrenoverats. Det Àr bekvÀmt och vÀlutrustat med öppen spis, TV, WIFI. Det Àr enkelt, bekvÀmt och trevligt. Den 1500 kvadratmeter stora stugan har panoramautsikt över havet, ett expansivt dÀck med grill och badtunna, ett stort bra rum, 3 sovrum och en övervÄning / loft med spiraltrappa, alla nya apparater, underbara trÀgolv och en 1100 kvadrat fotdÀck tillverkat av hÄllbart skördade Red Balau mahogny. Observera att en smal spiraltrappa till bÄda sovrummen pÄ övervÄningen och att bÄda badrummen Àr nere. Vissa tycker att detta Àr utmanande eller obehagligt, sÀrskilt pÄ natten. De flesta av vÄra gÀster bryr sig inte och betraktar det som en del av stugans charm; Men om dessa funktioner skulle vara begrÀnsande och obekvÀma för dig eller dina gÀster, föreslÄr vi att du hittar alternativa bostÀder.

Fritidsaktiviteter pÄ plats inkluderar badning, fÄgelskÄdning, promenader i sanden och tidvattenbassÀnger, valskÄdning, djurliv och promenader i parken och skogen. We've stayed here a couple times and it's one of my favorites. It's very well equipped, maintained, and clean. We loved the sky chair for ocean viewing and you can't beat the deck for ocean viewing.

Spring at the Ocean

Great location! Close drive to Cannon Beach and Seaside but tucked away in a quiet oceanfront community. Great house and property. Perfect place to relax, enjoy family and the beach! For our teens- the wifi was great! Host was very responsive.

Arch Cape was everything we had hoped for and more! Wonderful experience!

The home is in a perfect location to enjoy the views of the Pacific Ocean and it’s magnificent glory. The nostalgic house was well appointed and we absolutely used and loved the wood burning fireplace.. We all had a wonderful time just spending time together with the amazing views. We can’t wait to go back!

Felt like home

Our stay at Cove Cottage was perfection. The cottage itself was well equipped and impeccably clean. I'm not sure we've ever been more "at home" in a VRBO than we were here. The location couldn't have been better. We weren't more than 20 minutes in any direction from amazing hikes, beaches, and cute little towns. Coming back to the cottage, surrounded by the forest and steps from the beach was so relaxing after our days exploring. The beach itself was beautiful. We were lucky enough to get some lovely sunsets while we were here. Our kids loved finding sand dollars on the beach also! The hot tub was a nice way to relax too. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for a 10/10 vacation!

Fabulous!

This cottage is fabulous! Walk to the beach or drive minutes to hike in Oswald West State Park. Near enough to Cannon Beach and Manzanita for quick resupply as needed. The cabin was clean and the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. We hope to come back some day.

Absolute perfection

Wow...just wow.....the moment you step into the home you feel your soul breathe and relax. The views are breathtaking and everything just feels so cozy. This was our first family trip and we all had a fabulous time exploring the beach and neighboring towns as well as just hanging out and taking in the views. Thank you so much Maria and John for having us, we can't wait to come back!

Beautiful view & lovely home!

What a view! Comfortable home with fun loft space and well-stocked kitchen. Loved the wood-burning fireplace and hot tub. Sunsets were lovely on the beach, and we had several clear nights to stargaze from the deck. Location is excellent, private but close to both Manzanita and Cannon Beach, as well as many hiking trails. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect on the beautiful Oregon coast!

Fantastic stay!

We loved our week at Cove cottage. The house is beautifully situated with stunning views. The pictures do not do it justice. We loved the welcome basket of treats and we all slept wonderfully in the cozy beds. Hot tub was a great place to watch the sunset. High praise for the fluffy towels and well stocked kitchen! We spotted whale plumes from the deck and saw eagles from the beach. A great introduction to the Oregon coast! We are sad to leave. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot!

Tucked Away Delight

The home is in a wonderful location, close to the beach, with a beautiful view. The house has everything you need, including robes! The hot tub was a nice spot to watch the stars. If you like a firm bed, then you'll love them here. My husband was happy, but my neck was not. The upstairs was plenty big enough for three kids. The stairs are a little scary but doable. The bedrooms upstairs would also be fine for adults as long as you watch your head. Overall, we highly recommend this rental!!

Relaxing and quiet getaway

We had a lovely little getaway as a family to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary. The cottage has a timeless charm to it, and although you might call the decor dated, it’s very, very well kept. There is a nice TV in the living area, but you won’t need nor want to use it. The views are amazing, and our little ones (age 5 and 17 months) spent hours coloring, building legos, or “whale watching” at the table with the near panoramic ocean views to grab their attention. At low tide we enjoyed building sandcastles and flying our kite. We even added some painted rocks to the ocean “sand dollar” trail. The stairs do take some getting used to, but our 5 year old son sure loved them and a strategically placed cooler kept our daughter from attempting to use them. Plus, they really add to fun of the cottage. If you’d like a quiet and peaceful getaway with ocean views and access this is a great little spot.

Amazing retreat!

Excellent location, gorgeous home, Beautiful view, careful attention to details and comfort, and everything nearby is a delight at this area of the coast! :-). We really enjoyed the hot tub, the beautiful living room space where we all hung out together and separately, The unbelievable hiking OK, the easy access? To the beach right below with a cool arch to walk through, and the amazing tide pools in caves nearby at short beach. The house were super responsive, and also had all kinds of options for us that are often not seen in even very nice home rentals (e.g., Sharp knives, good pots, seasonings, lighters and flashlights, goodies set out for your use, bathroom amenities, wonderful spotting scope, Binoculars, books about the tide pools in the area hikes, a detailed description of options in the area and directions, easy to use TV and directions, and night lights in every room!). Thank you! The spiral staircase has grippy cushions on the steps, It was easy to navigate, including well placed foam on corners, just in case. The nearby hikes along with the Necarney Creek and to short Beach, are the best we’ve seen on the coast! The cabin is well set up for a party of six, and the five of us we had different places to relax. We would definitely choose to stay here again! :-)

The Cove Cottage was just as special as past guests had indicated in previous reviews. It is in an idyllic location perched above the beach and about a block from the shoreline providing a million-dollar panoramic view of Arch Cape and the goings on at the beach whether it be the waves, sand or the wildlife. It felt private and exclusive given the low traffic area where it is located.We were super impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage, and in awe of the fact that just about anything you would need to make your stay comfortable was already there for our use. The place felt as though it was clean literally to the standard that we keep our own home which was so amazing and allowed us to be at ease and comfortable right away.The hot tub was such a welcome amenity and once again, was spotless clean and the water crystal clear when we arrived. The ocean and sky views from the wrap-around deck and hot tub were so spectacular we did not want to leave! We talked among ourselves that the location is one of the top features of this home. That said, the brand new gas grill was perfect for a few of our dinners outside on the patio. When our stay came to an end we knew that we truly had found one of the Gem's of the Oregon Coast. Not a new modern hotel, but a place that felt like visiting the home of a friend. The hosts were exceptional and we had great communication with them up to and following our stay. If you are lucky enough to stay at Cove Cottage, you are very lucky!

This house was wonderful and very well equipped. The host was super responsive and provided quick answers to any questions. Everything worked! All instructions were accessible and detailed. One of our party very much enjoyed the hot tub every day and remarked how relaxing it was. Note that there are only restrooms downstairs so keep that in mind in terms of the two upstairs bedrooms. Tall people beware of the the lower ceilings upstairs. We just left our suitcases at the foot of the stairs instead of struggling to bring them up the spiral staircase which worked fine. Highly recommend!

Great view. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of clean, white towels. Good instructions and information on house. Path to beach was a little confusing and “cobbles” are large and can be treacherous. Could use an overall update. Beds not super comfortable, pilllows need replaced. Overall, we had a great time and it was very relaxing. The only thing not well communicated (until the actual booking process) was the large deposit required to finalize the booking. Originally stated as 300, it was actually 1800.

The craftsmanship of this home was great. Close walk to almost private beach. Centrally located to many places. Clean, nice deck, hot tub, welcoming gifts, Stars galore at night, Stocked fireplace. Stocked kitchen and some pantry items. Definitely recommend!
