Cove Cottage ligger pÄ en kulle med en vacker utsikt över havet. Det har utsikt över Cove Beach, bara 3 minuters promenad bort. Ligger mellan Cannon Beach och Manzanita, Àr stugan omgiven av de gamla tillvÀxtskogarna i Oswald West State Park. Delar av Oregon Islands National Wildlife Sanctuary syns frÄn vardagsrummet. Cove Beach Àr en av de minst kÀnda strÀnderna pÄ norra Oregon kusten. Titta pÄ pelikaner och skarv frÄn vardagsrummet nÀr de gÄr pÄ Castle Rock, en del av Oregon Islands National Wildlife Sanctuary. Under lÄgvatten exponeras en vidstrÀckt sandstrand vid Cove Beach. Det Àr vanligt att ha hela tvÄ milstranden för dig sjÀlv en sÀllsynt behandling inte bara för Oregon, utan för större delen av vÀrlden. Den 1500 kvadratmeter stora stugan har panoramautsikt över havet, ett expansivt dÀck med grill och badtunna, ett stort bra rum, 3 sovrum och en övervÄning / loft med spiraltrappa, alla nya apparater, underbara trÀgolv och en 1100 kvadrat fotdÀck tillverkat av hÄllbart skördade Red Balau mahogny. Observera att en smal spiraltrappa till bÄda sovrummen pÄ övervÄningen och att bÄda badrummen Àr nere. Vissa tycker att detta Àr utmanande eller obehagligt, sÀrskilt pÄ natten. De flesta av vÄra gÀster bryr sig inte och betraktar det som en del av stugans charm; Men om dessa funktioner skulle vara begrÀnsande och obekvÀma för dig eller dina gÀster, föreslÄr vi att du hittar alternativa bostÀder.

Fritidsaktiviteter pÄ plats inkluderar badning, fÄgelskÄdning, promenader i sanden och tidvattenbassÀnger, valskÄdning, djurliv och promenader i parken och skogen. We were so cozy with the fireplace and great view to watch the storms. We used the kitchen and the outdoor grill and were impressed with the amenities. My favorite was the hanging basket chair and view - both inside and out. No complaints. We will be back. Thank you!

Every convenience in a homey setting. Sparkling clean. Kitchen outfitted for real cooking. Views were our reason for renting but everything about this place was set up for our comfort and enjoyment. It’s a jewel.

The Cove Cottage was just as special as past guests had indicated in previous reviews. It is in an idyllic location perched above the beach and about a block from the shoreline providing a million-dollar panoramic view of Arch Cape and the goings on at the beach whether it be the waves, sand or the wildlife. It felt private and exclusive given the low traffic area where it is located.We were super impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage, and in awe of the fact that just about anything you would need to make your stay comfortable was already there for our use. The place felt as though it was clean literally to the standard that we keep our own home which was so amazing and allowed us to be at ease and comfortable right away.The hot tub was such a welcome amenity and once again, was spotless clean and the water crystal clear when we arrived. The ocean and sky views from the wrap-around deck and hot tub were so spectacular we did not want to leave! We talked among ourselves that the location is one of the top features of this home. That said, the brand new gas grill was perfect for a few of our dinners outside on the patio. When our stay came to an end we knew that we truly had found one of the Gem's of the Oregon Coast. Not a new modern hotel, but a place that felt like visiting the home of a friend. The hosts were exceptional and we had great communication with them up to and following our stay. If you are lucky enough to stay at Cove Cottage, you are very lucky!

This house was wonderful and very well equipped. The host was super responsive and provided quick answers to any questions. Everything worked! All instructions were accessible and detailed. One of our party very much enjoyed the hot tub every day and remarked how relaxing it was. Note that there are only restrooms downstairs so keep that in mind in terms of the two upstairs bedrooms. Tall people beware of the the lower ceilings upstairs. We just left our suitcases at the foot of the stairs instead of struggling to bring them up the spiral staircase which worked fine. Highly recommend!

Great view. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of clean, white towels. Good instructions and information on house. Path to beach was a little confusing and “cobbles” are large and can be treacherous. Could use an overall update. Beds not super comfortable, pilllows need replaced. Overall, we had a great time and it was very relaxing. The only thing not well communicated (until the actual booking process) was the large deposit required to finalize the booking. Originally stated as 300, it was actually 1800.

Excellent property, tucked away location. Lots of little touches to make your stay better than anywhere else, and well maintained. Stargazing while recovering from long fun days in the hot tub was the best part.

The craftsmanship of this home was great. Close walk to almost private beach. Centrally located to many places. Clean, nice deck, hot tub, welcoming gifts, Stars galore at night, Stocked fireplace. Stocked kitchen and some pantry items. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful property with thoughtful hosts! They really did think of everything, from organic coffee and kitchen supplies, to books and board games. We had a lovely stay, and can’t wait to come back!

Felt like home

Our stay at Cove Cottage was perfection. The cottage itself was well equipped and impeccably clean. I'm not sure we've ever been more "at home" in a VRBO than we were here. The location couldn't have been better. We weren't more than 20 minutes in any direction from amazing hikes, beaches, and cute little towns. Coming back to the cottage, surrounded by the forest and steps from the beach was so relaxing after our days exploring. The beach itself was beautiful. We were lucky enough to get some lovely sunsets while we were here. Our kids loved finding sand dollars on the beach also! The hot tub was a nice way to relax too. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for a 10/10 vacation!

Arch Cape Quiet

Cove Cottage offers a lovely location in Arch Cape. Centrally located to Cannon Beach, or Manzanita and Nehalem. It poured the whole time but we were happy playing games and enjoying the beautiful view. Well stocked and an excellent kitchen for a cook.

Exactly what was needed

We booked four nights at this beautiful home. While it was between Manzanita and Arch Cape it was easy to find because of both great directions as well as our navigation.The home is exactly as the pictures indicated and there were no surprises...other than the free coffee and goodies the owners provided. Our weather was all rain and wind but that did not dampen our spirits. The view is amazing and the hottub is both wonderful and relatively private.We loved our time and would recommend it to everyone.

Oregon Coast in January

A great stay at a cabin that was perfect for storm watching. Cozy wood interior in a cabin that accommodated five without feeling cramped. Beautiful forest setting with ocean view and a short drive from popular beaches. Hosts had the cabin well-stocked, clean and offered clear instructions.

Finely-appointed retreat in pristine location

Every detail for an enjoyable stay was accounted for. Stunning view with crystal clear stars at night and morning rainbows. Very comfortable beds and many fun games for the kids, ages 8 and 12.

Wonderful experience

Could not have been more pleased with the location and the home. Owners have given much thought and attention to detail. We had everything that we needed and excellent communication with the hosts. The beach is fabulous and access was easy for us even with one recovering from recent knee surgery. Would love to return.

Beautiful, cozy place with generous hosts

The coziest little beach house. We had it on an overcast rainy weekend and it was perfect, with a great ocean view from inside and hot tub to still get outside. Everything is well stocked and delivers on what you would need for a nice stay. We had a minor snafu when we first got there and John and Maria, the hosts, were so generous in helping provide a great experience. Their kindness gets 5 stars - we would love to stay here again.

The house was fully stocked with anything you might need. Easy access and great views to the north. We were fortunate to be there when the Northern Lights were visible..., at no extra charge!

Starry ocean paradise

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and vacation trip and it was just delightful! This was our second Oregon coast vacation we've done, and it was everything we were looking for and inspires us to come back again when we can. Details....we picked this particular area because we were interested in tide pools. This property is facing Cove Beach which a a lovely beach that's off the beaten path. The owner John was very helpful with giving us tide pool tips and directed us to the south end of cove beach where we found wonderful tide pool creatures - plenty of sea starts and green anemones. We did find the riprap hill we had to climb directly from the cottage to be steep even though access was very close. So advice for the less athletic, use the stairs a few blocks down at Richmond and Tide Rd where the riprap is flat. The cottage was incredibly well equipped - plenty of wonderful soft fluffy towels/robes for hot tub, a wonderfully equipped kitchen that my husband was able to easily cook some quesadillas in. There was a welcome package that included scrumptious Sleepy Monk coffee. The views of the stars were incredible - I haven't seen stars like that since I was a small child, I'd forgotten they even could look like that. We were able to spot the Milky Way! Also marvelous wood burning fireplace with clear instructions, and all the supplies we needed. And last but not least the views of the ocean are panoramic even from indoors!
