We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. Would recommend this rental very strongly for anyone wanting a spacious getaway steps to a beautiful beach.

Best Stay Yet!

Rita is great and keeps things simple and easy to follow as you prepare for the trip. The check-in and c process was simple and easy to follow, and the property was perfect for our family. Very clean. It’s also in the ideal location. Easy walk or short drive to the beach. I would stay here again for sure!

Great family getaway

The house is typical for a beach house in the right neighborhood. The walk to the beach was very short around 0.3 mile. We had perfect weather and the waves and beach were perfect. The only problem we experienced that wasn’t comfortable for tall people is the inside shower . The shower head was low for us but we delt with it.

The property was nice and had everything we needed. I did find having to walk to access points were disappointing although I knew about it ahead of time. I would have loved to have my coffee while sitting on a porch overlooking the ocean. Oh well. Beach in Moodiy is beautiful and long. Loved that!

Great stay on Moody Beach

Rita's place was very clean and had everything we needed. There was a Keurig machine and an Italian Moka pot (which we thoroughly enjoyed) for making coffee and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. The house was also more spacious than it appeared in the pictures which was a pleasant surprise! Rita was extremely responsive to our questions and I would highly recommend her house to anyone interested in staying in walking distance to a private beach.

Overall a good experience.

The cottage was fine and within walking distance to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Communication with the owner was excellent. The king bed, however, was way too soft. Some contractor began weed-whacking the property at 7:00 AM one morning, which was not appreciated. Otherwise, a fine stay.

Father's Day Weekend

First off, Rita is a gracious and helpful host! She really helped to make the most out of our weekend getaway, starting with allowing a shorter than typical stay to accommodate our availability. Perfect instructions for easy check in, the cottage was clean and presentable upon arrival. No surprises. Both the kids and parents were very happy with the place. Great access to Moody Beach, a short walk to the public way really made this trip memorable, that beach is beautiful! The only critique I have would be the lack of A/C, at least one window unit for the master would have made it a little more perfect but this is not a complaint as they do not claim A/C on the property description. All in all, great place and great hosts!

Quaint cottage near the beach

This cute little house in a quiet location was exactly what we needed. We would book it again.

Great location, spacious, cute, just what we needed!

Admittedly, at first we were quite upset upon arrival, exhausted after a long day of flying and arriving after midnight to find no sheets on the beds or towels and other basic amenities. After complaining the next day to Rita, the owner, we learned to our great embarrassment that we missed this info. in the description of the property! This was our first house rental that required us to bring our own sheets, towels, soap, paper towels, etc. so we just didn't think to look for this. Don't make the same mistake we did! (Also, be sure to plan on bringing or buying any extras for the kitchen: butter, milk, coffee, tea, oil, etc.) Nevertheless, Rita was AMAZING. She was totally understanding, warm-hearted, and helpful even though it was our mistake. She brought us sheets, towels, beach towels, soap, and a few other items we needed. We also showed her some old pans that really needed to be replaced and she bought an entire new set for the house. Check in and check out was super easy. While the house is across the street from the ocean (so no direct view), you can still hear the waves from the bedroom. Easy walking access to the beach. Very nice beach, can swim and boogie board in the waves (mid-July). Most summer cottages don't have a king size bed, so that was a big plus for us. Mattress was pretty new and good quality but definitely on the softer side. Ceiling fans helped a lot with the warm summer nights. Wifi was good although no instructions in the house for anything so we had to find the password written on a piece of paper near the modem. Spacious especially for the two of us. Minuses were in some of the little details here and there but nothing big. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks again, Rita, for your kindness and helpfulness!
