Cool & cozy

Great deal in a cute beach community

Great stay. The plaçe was spacious and has all amenities like. Full kitchen washing machine etc. Location was great also. No regrets whatsoever. I would note that the tvs need work to connect to Internet but not very important.

Just as pictured and described

Adorable house and neighborhood. Perfect for our quiet family. The highway noise wasn’t terrible, but had we wanted to spend more time on the deck, it might have been problematic.

My only comment is that it was hard to figure out how to use the TV - maybe provide clearer instructions and troubleshoot the system.

Sound of the surf

We have stayed here before and love the comfort and accessibility of this home. It's not on the beach, but the sound of the surf is magical, especially at night. IT's clean, well kept, and a really nice neighborhood.

We have stayed in this home many times and always have a great stay.Was the vacation rental in a great location? Yes! In a quiet neighborhood, short walk to Moonstone Beach, and close to Main Street shops and amenities.Was the home clean and in good shape? Yes! Always spotless and well supplied.Was the vacation rental management staff helpful? Convenient contactless key delivery at Scenic’s shop on Main Street makes it quick and easy to get into the house on arrival. The office staff is there during regular working hours, and there is an emergency after hours phone line in case of any problems.

Vacation

Absolutely loved this house. The deck looking at the ocean and the open windows in the living room made it the perfect place to not want to leave. 5min walk to moonstone beach was everything that we were looking for. Will be looking to stay here again for sure.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is clean things are in good working order. The kitchen is fairly well stocked. There is only one knife so be prepared for that if you plan on cooking. This house sits above HWY 1 and there is a lot of road noise all thru the day and night I would recommend earplugs. Overall we had. Great stay.

Peaceful escape from LA

We were very happy with our stay this year in Cambria. The house was clean, the kitchen recently remodeled, the layout perfect, and the view and sound of the waves at night just so relaxing and restorative. We also loved the neighborhood and closeness to the east village. We will return soon.

Great getaway

1st time renting a house. Have stayed on moonstone a dozen times in different hotels but this was the best with plenty of room , 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and a great view from the back patio

Great View & Privacy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was spectacular. The house was very roomy & clean. It was nice being at the end of the street with only one neighbor to the east but we didn't hear or see them. The big deck was designed for viewing & privacy. I have a few negatives: 1) when we arrived, the house was very warm (lots of windows) and it smelled like pee. We were going to roll-up the rugs & put them in the garage but they were fastened to the wood floor. I suggest those rugs be professionally cleaned. 2) The mattresses were not comfortable (too hard), 3) The house is over highway 1 & very noisy traffic started every morning around 3AM (LOUD). Probably a lot of construction trucks headed to the Big Sur Hwy 1 road repairs. Too warm to sleep with the doors & windows closed. Just really surprising how noisy hwy 1 can be.

We have rented many houses thru the years but this was the best. Loved the single level. Other than the guy across the street who feeds the skunks at night our dog loved it too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this home. You can tell the owners really want people to have the best time. The kitchen was super cute and updated with everything we needed to cook and bbq. The rest of the house is classic mid century Cambria with the best views around. We stayed with our 2 kids and dog and loved the patio space overlooking the ocean, the close proximity to town and such a cute neighborhood. We’ve stayed at almost every hotel in town and dozens of vacation rentals visiting my mom and this house was our favorite so far. Super clean too which is a huge plus. We’ll definitely be back!

Cool House

The owners continue to upgrade the property, the latest being new patio furniture, living room furniture, and a gas log fireplace. The house isn’t fancy, but is very comfortable. Great location, easy to walk into town, Moonstone Beach. Easy access to Hwy 1 as well. The only knock is that the house is right above Hwy 1. The traffic noise in the day is unavoidable. At night, however, the traffic disappears, and one can hear the ocean and birds. We will be back.
