Familjer kommer att Àlska att stanna hÀr medan de besöker sin HSU-student och kommer att kÀnna sig riktigt hemma. Börja dagen med kaffe pÄ den överbyggda verandan och gÄ eller kör till Redwoods, campus eller downtown, alla ligger bara en kort bit bort. Efter en dag med Àventyr kommer gÀsterna att Àlska att ÄtervÀnda till denna charmiga retrÀtt som kÀnns som en restaurerad bondgÄrd fylld med bÄde modern och vintage inredning. Den breda planka faux trÀgolv lÀgga till landet atmosfÀr. Besök Arcata Farmers Market eller underbara gourmet, ekologiska livsmedelsbutiker, Wildberries eller Co-Op och ÄtervÀnda för att laga en utsökt mÄltid i det fullt utrustade köket med en gasspis. It gave us easy access to downtown Arcata and for quick trips to Eureka and Trinidad.

Cute, clean, charming cottage with plenty of space, including a large kitchen. Well-stocked with what we needed (although no ice maker or cube trays). Good location, close to everything with easy access to US 101. A great home base for our time in the area!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage was a bit hard to find as it is tucked away from the street by numerous trees and large hedges, but once you find it, the trees and hedges work well to give you privacy from the street. The house doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is nice, spacious and clean. I called the management company on two occasions and they were helpful both times. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. There was a coffee pot and coffee, but no sugar/cream so we ended up going out for coffee each morning anyway.

Loved the property! Only complaint was stains on pillow cases which made us question whether they had been washed and no hot water for second shower. I had to take a cold shower this morning. Ugh! Also would be nice if lotion was available since we flew to Arcata and didn’t bring. Other than that, an amazing experience!! Thank you!

Great Place!

Great location! The place was very clean and the whole process was easy. Very accurate description. It's nice and quiet. If we ever get back to the area we would love to stay there again. The communication was also timely. The owners seem to really care about the property.

Great location and amenities

Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the area. Close to downtown, the coast and the redwoods. Large kitchen for eating in but also close to many great restaurants if you want to eat out. Beds are comfortable as well!

Cozy, Clean, Comfortable Cottage a PERFECT Location!

We wanted to stay somewhere central during our road trip to the Redwoods. Arcata was perfect as the Humboldt Redwood State Park (Avenue of the Giants) is to the south and the Redwood National Park (Trees of Mystery) is to the north. Jane's Cottage jumped out at us with its quaint and classic decor. What a fantastic location! Arriving right before dark, it was easy to find (excellent directions and access instructions were provided by the host) and we were delighted with this wonderfully appointed home. It is exactly as described with extra touches throughout to make it exceptional. As frequent travelers, we notice things like good toilet paper, nice tissues, high quality sheets, bedding and comfortable mattresses, lots of blankets, bath towels and extra pillows. The kitchen was well-stocked and the house simply had everything we needed to snuggle in after a long day. It was close to the 101 highway and to the college with a privacy we adored. It was a little cold so we didn't get to sit on the back porch or in the courtyard, but what nice amenities to offer guests. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to avoid hotel hassles in a home away from your own.

Cute little house with was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend, exploring the redwoods, taking advantage of your local beaches, and spending time in Arcata. The house was comfortable and homey.

I would absolutely stay here again!

The house was more than enough for two travelers. Very comfortable and quiet - I couldn’t hear my friend when she was in her room or other parts of the house. Some reviews mention freeway noise, and you can hear it, but it’s more like white noise and didn’t bother us at all. Location is close to everything. With access to the 101 it was an easy trip both North and South - and we explored both.We used a laptop for Netflix and Prime. The cord to hook up to the TV was already there.Plenty of room in the well equipped kitchen. We found everything we needed. You will need to bring your own coffee and bag of ice. The laundry room was well stocked.In short, no hassle and we LOVED it!
