Pools were great grounds are very nice parking was never a problem beautiful place to stay. The only problem was their elevator’s one was broken so it took a long time to go upstairs people were lined up literally. If you did not have groceries or luggage you could use the stairs but that gets old when you are on the top floors

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Islander condo was in excellent condition and had “to die for“ views from the master bedroom and the balcony. It was perfect for our girls trip and was well stocked. The only thing I would recommend is having some condiments and seasonings available in the condo. The condo was very clean and while the beach was busy, it was nothing like the beaches further in town. There was plenty of space to spread out both in the condo in on the beach. Overall, it was an incredible stay, with a great location and I can’t wait to be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here many times, almost always in 603. Our only complaint is that the property was undergoing exterior renovations. Our windows and balcony were taped on e and unavailable for half of our stay. It would have been nice to be alerted of this possibility before it arrival, and given the opportunity to choose another room in the facility.

Great location, funny smell

We had a wonderful time! Great location, right on the beach. Comfy beds and comfortable stay. Only negative was the musty smell, like the condo needed to be aired out for awhile.

Amazing views but got stuck on the elevators

The property was nice and as advertised. The unit was clean and well stocked. The views from the patio and master were amazing! Too bad the elevators weren't working properly and we got stuck along with several others on different occasions. Otherwise was a great place to stay.

Great stay!

The unit was extremely clean and well maintained. Well stocked with towels and kitchen utensils and dishes. Twin beds mattresses were a little hard but ok.

Lack of upkeep

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two years ago we stayed in this unit and I had to fix the bed on the first night of arriving. Since the front desk was closed I had no choice but to use bed sheets to support the frame from falling apart. The front desk was notified but nothing was resolved before we left. When we arrived a full year later. It was very disappointing to notice the same bed sheets holding the frame together. You should be paying me for a fix that lasted over a year. We will no longer be staying in your unit because of that. Hopefully this will motivate the owners to address the problem.

Loved it!

We loved this place! It was everything that was described while booking. Great beach location and service! We had a great time with an awesome view from the balcony. The only issue we had was the fridge door was hard to open at times. It was a very minor issue to us. Overall, I would stay here again and highly recommend this place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd time staying at The Islander and first time in unit 603. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Unit was clean and has a beautiful view. Kitchen items were well provided.Cons: Some of the furniture was worn and needs to be replaced. The couch was very uncomfortable and the bed pillows are very flat (woke with neck aches).

Family vacation

The Condo was great and clean for my family of 5. Loved the fact that it’s walking distance to the beach and in the morning you can look out the patio and soak in all the beauty of the ocean while sipping on coffee. I would definitely get this Condo again! Very family friendly.

Love The Islander!

We stay at The Islander every time we go to Destin. This was our 5th time. We stay in a different unit every time and we haven’t had a bad experience yet. The rooms are always so clean and smell good. And decorated so cute! We will always stay at The Islander!!

Great condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m happy to say the condo was clean upon our arrival and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We had a few issues so I called the number given and explained that we had a clogged bathroom sink and a broken toaster. They brought us a brand new toaster and fixed the clogged sink the same day. The only thing that I would have liked was an ice maker in the refrigerator or ice trays to make ice. Also access to a washer and dryer in the condo would have been nice too. They were located on the second floor and 3 of the 6 washers was out of order along with 2 of the 6 dryers. Otherwise this is a great location and a great condo.
