A single level converted stables with a contemporary kitchen living area. Looking out beyond the walled garden are long reaching rural views. Lots of outdoor space with a hot tub sunk into the decking, bbq area and secluded vine covered courtyard.
There are two doubles and one king size rooms in the house and a pod in the garden with two singles. Within 15 minutes drive of several stunning beaches, coastal walks and estuaries, the area is ideal for outdoor activities.

Beautiful rural property with a modern twist.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at stable cottage for our wedding anniversary and mother in-laws 70th birthday. It's is the perfect property for a family getaway. I'll never forget the stunning views from the living room/dinning area. We would definitely love to come back one day.

Stunning views, mod cons and great host

We had a brilliant time. The house, garden and views are even better than the photos. Great location within walking distance of Kingsbridge. Naomi was very accommodating and friendly. Loved chilling out in the hot tub and enjoying the vista. Highly recommend

The perfect little paradise

The cottage was very clean and really nice decor. High quality kitchen and appliances. We absolutely loved the hot tub. The views are stunning. The location was perfect, quick drive into kingsbridge or a 10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend this cottage and we can’t wait to return.

Family holiday/get together

Stable Cottage is an exceptional holiday home and very well appointed and equipped. The situation is fabulous - a large garden with several areas to relax and enjoy the unspoilt view of the surrounding countryside ( from inside and out ) - a overall feeling of space even with six of us and two dogs. Helpful and laid back owners too. Highly recommend !

Secluded Retreat

We stayed for one week - a family of two grandparents, auntie, my wife and I, plus two kids and a dog! There was plenty of space for all of us. The envlosed garden was great for letting the kids and dog run around worry free. Great views, and about a 10min walk into Kingsbridge. We can't wait to stay again!

A fab week in Devon sunshine

What a lovely place to stay, the house was even better than the listing suggested, really clean and modern but still with a homely feel. We all had a really relaxing time, the fantastic views of the surrounding countryside definitely helped with that. Naomi and James, the owners, were really helpful and friendly, my granddaughter kept them updated with our daily activities around and about. Will definitely come back again if possible. Bill

Beautiful and stylish place with amazing views

Wonderful accommodation, and a lovely part of the world to holiday in. The house (and garden) is stylishly designed and we were left tea/coffee etc and cleaning materials. Plenty of lovely restaurants, so we didn’t cook but kitchen looks well equipped. There’s parking as well, which is hard to find in Kingsbridge/ Salcombe. one thing to note- house is slightly further up the road than it it appears. One thing to note

A hidden gem !!

For us, this was a fantastic property, cannot fault anything. The space inside and outside was way more than needed and the garden was so lovely. With fantastic views and so peaceful and quiet. The location was absolutely perfect everything we needed was very close by. Jane was 100%. Brilliant property Naomi, we will definitely be back thank you.

Beautiful property

The photos do not do this property justice, it is very spacious and was more than a big enough space for 7 of us and our 3 dogs. The property is finished to an excellent standard and we couldn’t fault it. On our arrival James met us and gave us a tour of the place explaining everything about the property as well as the best spots in the area which were all very accessible. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend!

Superb family holiday

We were a family group of 8 ranging in age from 7 months to 70 years and there was something for everyone, great being on a single level. Fantastic views from huge dining table, super modern kitchen and living space, beautiful garden and warming fancy hot tub. Such a great house. Beaches were brilliant, next time we will surf! We didn’t use pod as it was a bit cold and damp.

Relaxing holiday with friends and our 2 dogs!

On arrival we were greeted by the very welcoming host Naomi, who showed us around her amazing house. All I can say is wow! what a place to stay, the location is perfect and quiet, the views are amazing, the walked garden was fantastic as we took 2 dogs, they absolutely loved the freedom of exploring the garden. Many afternoons were enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and garden after our long walks, The house is so well equipped and a perfect place to stay. The views from the dining table are breath taking. All in all a very comfortable place to stay. We all had a fantastic time. Definitely recommend staying at Stable cottage. Thank you.

Devon countryside holiday

This beautiful property situated in some glorious countryside with stunning views of the surrounding fields was close to Kingsbridge and shops. It had one kingsize bedroom with ensuite bathroom, one double bedroom with ensuite shower room , one double bedroom and there was another shower room with toilet. There was a pod housing 2 single beds in the garden. The property also had a wonderful fully equipped spacious open plan kitchen extending into the dining area with the stunning views. TVs in all bedrooms, snug and this open plan area. Many Beaches were within 10 minute drive. Many good restaurants within easy reach of this property. Naomi met with us on the first day to give us a guided tour and answer any questions and was very friendly and approachable. We stayed as a family of 7 (with toddler) and dog.

Fantastic home in an ideal Devon setting

The house is fantastic, modern yet keeping its original architectural features. The kitchen was clearly designed for those how like to cook and the landscape garden was very relaxing and visually calming. The countryside views are unmatched! The owners are incredible, very friendly and went beyond what we expected in helping us replace a flat tire. Even taking us twice to the service centre that was able to secure a special replacement tire. We definitely plan to be back and highly recommend this home for anyone that wants to explore the Devon area.

Peaceful

Property has everything you could ask for, walled garden, great for the dog. Hot tube with views of green rolling hills, plenty of out door seating areas for the good weather, and entertaining. Open plan kitchen, living room and dinner, with bi-folding doors which brings the garden into the room. A lovely separate and cosy TV room with Woodburner, if you wish to hide from the kids. The town a 2 min drive or short walk has everything you'll need, recommend the local butcher. All in all the wife, dog and I loved the house and location, next time we intend asking the kids and their parents to join. Yes there will be a next time most definitely.
