Välkommen till Bamboo Bungalow!

Kom och bo hos oss på Bamboo Bungalow i West Asheville där det konstnärliga hjärtat och själen finns. Hemmet är inrett i en unik bungalow-stil med en stor balkong med utsikt över en fridfull bambuslund. Njut av det nyinredda moderna köket och det mysiga vardagsrummet. Det blir inte mycket bättre än detta, kom med oss på Bamboo Bungalow!

Layout: Det finns tre trappsteg upp till verandan, men bostadsområdet finns allt på en plan. Vi har ordnat ett öppet vardagsrum / matplats med wifi och en smart-tv. Husets ägare bor nere med en rumskamrat. De två nivåerna är helt åtskilda och det finns inget behov av att dela ett gemensamt område. Kök: Det finns en spis, kylskåp, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, kaffekanna, mixer, brödrost och en full uppsättning disk och köksredskap. Köket är utrustat för matlagning om så önskas. Men om du väljer att njuta av Asheville underbara restauranger - det finns en anteckningsbok full av läckra val! Veranda: Du hittar en bakre veranda där du kan koppla av och njuta av lugnet i bambustungan och French Broad River.

Gästinteraktion: Vår interaktion med dig som våra gäster är delvis upp till dig! Vårt standardförfarande är att hälsa dig vid ankomst (om möjligt), ge dig nyckeln och en kort rundtur i huset och de erbjudna bekvämligheterna. Vi kommer alltid att finnas via text / telefonsamtal för råd från Asheville!

Grannskapsöversikt: Joyner Avenue är en lugn gata som går parallellt med French Broad River och ligger bara en gata bort. Det återupplivas, vilket speglar tillväxten i detta livliga samhälle. Strax under oss ligger Smoky Mountain Adventure Center med klättvägg och bar. I slutet av vår gata hittar du det eklektiska kaféet och caféet, Edna's at the River, med lokala drycker, bakade saker och god mat. Om du vill koppla av under din vistelse i Asheville är detta området för dig!

Att ta sig runt: De bästa transportsätten i Asheville är definitivt Uber och Lyft.

Andra saker att notera: Vi ligger på en lugn gata, en fem minuters promenad till Carrier Park med tillgång till hela RiverLink-parkeringssystemet längs French Broad River. Hyr en cykel och resa längs floden eller besök det funky River Arts District på andra sidan bron. Hyr ett inre rör och njut av en lugn flottör nedför floden med Zen Tubing eller bli ambitiös och prova ett stand up paddle board (SUP). Besök bryggerierna vid floden vid Nya Belgien, The Wedge, eller längre nedströms vid Bywater där du kan dra in direkt från floden. Biltmore Estate ligger bara 3 km bort. Downtown Asheville är 3. 0 miles bort fylld med gatuliv och restauranger. Vi är en 10-minuters bilresa till Blue Ridge Parkway och tillgång till Appalachian Mountain trail system.

Nice property by the river

We visited Ashville for a visit with family in the area. The house was far enough from the main thoroughfares to be quite and feel safe but close enough that we could walk to town (if we were ambitious). Overall, the house was well appointed and comfortable for my wife and I and our 2 adult sons.

Bamboo retreat

We came for a few days to visit Ashville and the biltmore. We drove into the neighborhood and saw multiple people walking their dogs and one family with a stroller. This made us feel very safe and secure. The house was easy to spot as it is surrounded by bamboo. We also loved the proximity to the park, the river, breweries, and the biltmore. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Sweet, comfy cottage in West Asheville

We came to Asheville to visit with friends and get away over the New Year’s holiday. We enjoyed the Bamboo Cottage very much - it was conveniently located in a neighborhood with a lot of character and just across the river from the huge Arts District. If we had an issue or question about the property, the host was quick to respond. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything handy to do some light cooking and snack making. We would gladly book this home again!

Very Nice mini vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. We came for a 4 day vacation before school began. At first glance, it appears you are far away from everything but really you are within 2-5 miles of everything you would want to see. My husband and son enjoyed a day on the river fishing with a guide. We enjoyed a 4 hour kayak trip the following day (Ashville Adventure Co. that was 1 mi. away!). It was really fun! It was an enjoyable stay. The home is cozy! The host was very nice and responsive!

Roomy house, not far from Biltmore area

Seems newly renovated, spacious kitchen/sitting area. The kitchen lighting should be split to more switches such as the light over the sink, lights in kitchen area, then lights in sitting area instead all are on one switch. Thank goodness there are table lamps. I knew to bring an extra WiFi TV for the bedroom, and a DTV broadcast kit for the main TV since there is no cable TV. WiFi worked well. Barking dog downstairs was not appreciated.

A great experience

We really enjoyed our stay. The bungalow was comfortable and our check-in process was a breeze. Austin sent detailed directions, which were helpful. The beds were comfortable and the house is spacious. On the listing it only showed images of two bedrooms, but once we arrived we saw it actually has three bedrooms and four beds. That was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and cups and whatnot. The only issue is the pans are a bit warped, which made cooking on a flat-top electric stove a bit of a challenge. It would be wonderful to replace the large pan with one that is not warped. Otherwise everything was great!

Better than advertised!!!

This property is not as advertised. IT IS BETTER!!! The floor plan of the home is open and gave off an immediate warm, welcoming vibe upon entrance. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and was easy to locate. The location is not far from anything you might want to do. Ii is close to Carrier Park (which is well maintained and lovely to look at.) Austin was attentive and immediately responded to our one and only problem. It seems the TV can be somewhat tempermental. LOL. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The back deck is a real plus and is great for sitting with a cocktail at the end of the day. Well done, Austin!!!!

Bamboo Bungalow

We decided last minute to take a quick week away. After being together in a car for 11 hours, I was looking for a place to stay where we wouldn't be right on top of each other for 5 days. We really enjoyed our stay at the Bamboo Bungalow. It had a nice front and back porch that I had hoped to sit out on and get some sun, but neither porch really got much sun d/t the trees out front and the bamboo forest in the back. That might have been fine if the weather had been warmer, but we booked for mid April so it was a cool 50s- 60s. Still enjoyable listening to and watching the birds out back. The inside was immaculate. And the location was close to a lot of places to do outside activities and eat. Once we figured our way around, it was easy to get places. The only drawback for me was I didn't realize there was no off street parking until we arrived. Owner must have awesome neighbors though, because the space in front of the house was always available every time we came back. The street itself was very quiet, albeit intimidatingly narrow and winding. We would definitely book again if we ever come back to that area. The owner was very responsive to every request/question we had and that was awesome. This was a short vacation so we didn't do any cooking, but the appliances seemed very new. I would recommend placing a King sized bed in the master bed room and updating the couch in the TV area. But otherwise we really enjoyed the home, Thanks for having us!!

The size and layout of the house is very comfortable. The bedroom sizes also made our stay very comfortable. We were slightly disappointed with the level of sunlight during the day. Unsure if this was due to fall sun or the height of the bamboo. The shuffle board on back deck was great and worked very well! Loads of fun. Kitchen appliances worked fine. Suggestion would be to get new pots/pans. A new can opener is needed. Plenty of dishes for our use (3 adults). There were some dirty dishes in the cabinet. Overall cleanliness gets a B rating. Generally clean, but some ick factors are stains on chairs in addition to the dirty dishware. It could use a deep cleaning. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of linens available. The location is fantastic! Close to arts district and easy enough to get to downtown or the blue ridge. We walked to and explored the park trail and west end restaurants. While there are minimal sidewalks and hills, it was easy enough to do. Communication with the host worked well. He was even able to accommodate a special request, which I’m very grateful for. That reminds me, highly suggest a tour of the chocolate factory that is close by! We are so very happy we chose this area to visit. It’s amazing to see all the work that is being done to bring back the area. It’s quite incredible, actually.

Property is perfectly names, clean, good location to everything Biltmore, downtown Asheville, River art district. River art district has been hit hard by hurricane Helene, however you can see it is starting to revive itself. We did E-bikes, which was great.

This house was in the perfect location for us to explore the city and visit the RAD! Check in and out was super easy, the house was incredibly clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend to friends.

Great weekend

I was in the Asheville area for two separate events and need a place for a couple nights in between. This place was perfect for me. Clean, neat and QUIET. I spent much of my time reading on the porch. Although I could see traffic on the other side of the bamboo forest, I could not hear it. The sound of the wind in the bamboo was so soothing.Bed was comfortable, linens adequate. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure in the shower. I used the washer and dryer and both worked well. Kitchen was well equipped with good quality utensils and appliances. The entirely place was nicely decorated, with a calm feel to it all.As I was driving to the place, at first I was concerned the neighborhood would be sketchy, but when you turn up the drive, you find lovely homes - several obviously renovated. It kind of had an "up and coming" vibe. I felt perfectly safe. The only problem I had was the landlord uses an older lock, like realtors use. I had trouble getting it open. I finally figured out that the numbers needed to be spun first before setting to the correct combination. I called the POC a couple times about it and he was always quick to answer - very friendly and professional. He offered to send someone to help, but I finally figured it out. I appreciated his willing to help though.

This has been such a clean, comfortable place to stay. Austin and Spencer are fantastic owners, and are extremely attentive to any questions i had. I cannot overstate how much i have enjoyed my stay here, and would definitely stay again!

A great weekend

My daughter and I loved Asheville and were very comfortable in your home. Love the privacy of the bamboo in the back. There was plenty of room, very clean and any questions we had were answered promptly. There was construction on the street but that could not be helped and I’m sure it is temporary. The coffee maker is getting tired but still worked. We would choose your home again, thank you!

The location could not be better for exploring Asheville, NC. The view from the back deck is also quite magical: a bamboo grove surrounds our backyard providing our guests with enchanting ambiance and privacy!
