Beautiful, bright and contemporary two bedroom cottage in the heart of Deal

Middle Deal Cottage is an immaculately presented two bedroom cottage in the heart of Deal. This bright and contemporary holiday home has recently been renovated to a high standard by its owners. The cottage benefits from a wonderful large garden and would suit families, friends or couples looking to escape to the seaside.

The front door leads directly into the sitting room with a sofa, two armchairs and a smart TV with netflix.

Dining Room

Spacious dining room with a table and chairs to seat 4 comfortably. The owners have left a few board games and books here too.

Kitchen

A brand new kitchen with everything you may need for home cooking. Electric toaster and kettle, fridge, freezer, double oven and dishwasher.

Garden

Large garden which has a patio area with a BBQ, table and chairs for four and an umbrella. Lawn area beyond.

First Floor

Bedroom One

Sleeps 2 - kingsize bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, two bedside tables and two lamps.

Bedroom Two

Sleeps 2 - double bed, built in wardrobe, two bedside tables and two lamps.

Family Bathroom

Large bathroom with a bath with overhead shower, hand basin and wc.
House Rules

We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages to our beautiful holiday home. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house (four guests).
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please note quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Please be respectful to neighbours.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Things You Need to Know

Towels and linen are provided.
Starter supply of tea, coffee, sugar sachets provided.
Wi-Fi access.
Central heating throughout.
Charcoal BBQ (charcoal will not be provided).
One small, well behaved dog is allowed. Please select this option when booking. Please note that this property charge a £25 fee for dogs.

Winter Break
This cottage is an absolute gem. The décor and interior have been done to a really high standard. We had the perfect stay and it was a joy to be in the cottage.

Lovely little cottage
Middle Deal is a beautifully appointed cottage. Extremely well equipped with everything needed for your stay. We had a lovely time. Slight downside is yellow lines outside the cottage and as there is no drop kerb parking on the paved drive was not easy. Our Focus just about fit. We did, though, find it easy to park further along the road. Keepers Cottages staff were extremely helpful and informative with prompt responses to any queries. The booking process is simple and key pick up well thought out. All in all a lovely cottage and super service.

Okay but not great.
Our family stayed for a week in Middle Deal Cottage. It was all right but we’d not choose to stay here again. It looked really stylish in the photos but in real life it was far too cramped. There were too many items of furniture which looked good in pictures but were not comfy because they were too small. It would be better to have full size items but less of them. The house was newly decorated and extremely clean but it smelt strongly of damp which was very unpleasant. As it was hot we kept the windows open and spent lots of time in the garden which was lovely- with 2 beautiful patio areas. We’d chosen the house because it had off street parking - important because my husband was on crutches. Sadly the driveway was only suitable for a tiny car and so we had to park elsewhere. The area wasn’t great, lots of loud music and shouting, and it was about 15 mins along some busy roads to get to the beach. I didn’t realise there was no washing machine in the property and it was a bit of a pain to have to go to the laundrette on holiday. Overall, we did have a relaxing holiday and we’d definitely use Keepers Cottages again, but just not this particular property.

No complaints about the accommodation or location at all. But the information provided needs updating. The bins for example are emptied on a Monday not Friday as stated on the information sent to us. Also the parking area is very small, we thought we had a small car, Ford B Max, but this was to big and over hanged the pavement. So prospective bookings should be made aware of this. But overall we had an excellent holiday.
