As part of 3 cabins. “Lammermuir” is a bespoke 5 star luxury cabin designed for 2 people in a beautiful farm setting at Auldhame near Seacliff . It’s within walking distance from Tantallon Castle & Seacliff Beach and is well known for it’s stunning views. Enjoy lovely walks or bike rides and there is also horse riding available at Seacliff Stables. DRIFT coffee shop is also a must to visit with it’s incredible view of the Bass Rock. Our home is located behind the iglucraft and I am happy for you to contact me via phone or text if you have any problems. We are within walking distance to Seacliff Beach, Seacliff Stables, Tantallon Castle & DRIFT coffee shop. We have bikes available to use but helmets are not included. Use at your own risk.

The cabin had everything we needed. It's lovely and the area is beautiful. We had a hill facing cabin and loved the view. We had what we needed to cook meals, and loved the bottle of prosecco left for us.

Fantastic stay

Me and my wife stayed in one of the cabins and it was fantastic. Lovely from start to finish . The manager Lisa was very helpful and pleasant. Definitely will be going back 5 star for me . Brilliant

Great little retreat

Such a great location and a beautiful little cabin, spotlessly clean and welcoming. We arrived to the lights on and a welcome drink and chocolates which was very thoughtful. There’s so much to explore - amazing beaches, the nearby castle and of course Drift Cafe which is probably the best cafe I’ve been to. Would highly recommend.

A relaxing break

Everything was great! Bed was super comfy and the pod was super clean and beautifully presented. Luxury towels and everything you needed. Lovely to be able to walk to Seacliff beach and lots to see and do in very easy reach. I did lots of walking with my dogs and there are tons of options in the area. A favourite was Gullane beach. Would definitely return and recommend. Thank you Lisa for a lovely stay.

Absolutely amazing

We cannot say enough good things about this property. More than we could ask for. Cute. Near things to do and good food. One thing missing was paper towels but that seems to be normal in Scotland.

Perfect getaway

This is the perfect little getaway for couples! Private, cozy cottages with beautiful views of the Scottish countryside. Close to the beach for stunning views and close to stores if you need anything. Our host was wonderful and even brought us an iPhone charger when I discovered I had the wrong adapter. Already am recommending this Vrbo to friends to stay in. HIGHLY recommend staying here.

A Bit Disappointing

After going through a difficult time, I decided have a break from it all. I input 2 dogs, one adult, and came up with this place. Pricier than what I would normally go for, but I needed a break away with my well behaved, quiet and clean toy poodles.When I booked the website told me that there would be no refunds, so I was not happy as getting several emails stating, 2 adults, 1 dog.This cause a lot of stress, so after a lot of hassle, I managed to get one looked after, at an additional cost.I arrived, and had no way of contacting the host, surely sending me the key code would have been more effective. Upon first sight, the inside of the cabin looked lovely. I soon found out that it is not practical for someone life, me, who stands at only 5’4” high.Sorting my evening meal out, I could not see any cutlery, so I got mine from the car.Bedtime then arrived, and the bed is very high, and has what looked like a storage compartment under it. That compartment sticks out, and I found that getting onto the bed a major problem, and painful, as the sticky out bit grazed my legs climbing up and down. I was praying I would not have do the middle of the night stroll. Once upon the bed, I saw the cutlery, in a pot on a very hight shelf which I could not have reached anyway.I was not too happy that the blinds did not cover the whole windows, and left me feeling quite vulnerable. No lie in, as the noise from the road/farm is very loud, so not as peaceful as hoped.

Delivered as Advertised/Expected

Based on the price price paid, this was a five star experience. Almost impossible to criticize any aspect of our stay from the excellent pre-arrival communication through to our day of departure; very comfortable bed, nice quality linens and towels, great hot water, very good wifi signal and service, great basic selection of pans, plates & cutlery(with knifes that were sharp), considerately stocked with tea/coffee/sugar and a lovely complimentary bottle of prosecco ! This is what hospitality is meant to be. A few observations (constructive, not in any way negative) • The space is compact, but a tremendous amount of thought has gone into space utilization. For sleeping, waking up, showering, and having a breakfast before heading out, you have all the space you need. We did appreciate being able to sit outside (between the Scottish summer storms) and enjoy a nice bottle of wine, as our room then stretched across the fields ! • The arch shaped windows do have blinds, but only the square section of the window is covered. Enough for privacy, but lacks ‘black out’ especially when it gets light very early during a Scottish summer. I think a simple semi-circled panel with suction cups could be easily attached/removed for those that would prefer/benefit from a darker a room. • When it rains(storms), it feels like you are right in the middle of it, which we loved. Very different experience from a typical hotel room (which is our norm), but plan accordingly and it's great !
