Edinburgh är en av världens vackraste och ikoniska destinationer i världen. Denna vackra och eleganta fyra sovrumslägenhet byggdes 1805 och ligger i "East Village" i New Town.

Forbes 'Residence har nyligen transformerats av Edinburghs välkända interiörarkitekt, Emily Black, och har ett snyggt, modernt skotskt tema och rymmer upp till åtta vuxna.

Detta lyxiga "home from home" har ursprungliga strippade kanadensiska trägolv, detaljerad cornisering, ett flaggkök och vackra eldstäder. Det ger en glimt av livet som en rik rikshandlare från 1800-talet - ett fint exempel på georgisk arkitektur som bäst.

Från tennvagnshuvudet i salongen, till laxfisktapeten i köket och "beröringen av tistlar" som pryder det rymliga boendet, atmosfären och en känsla av historia som hälls ut från alla krök och händer i denna byggnad från 1700-talet tidigare hem för den skotska konstnären Anne Redpath.

Besökarna ligger bara några minuters promenad från den historiska stadskärnan och har enkel tillgång till de många kulturella, shopping- och restaurangglädjerna som Edinburgh har att erbjuda. Bortom själva staden finns det världsberömda golfbanor, vackra kustbyar och fantastiska landskap.

Amazing property in a fantastic location, close to all the bars and cafes in New Town and a short walk to Princes Street and the Old Town. We had four days at this beautiful apartment and loved everything about it. Check-in and communications first rate, and photos don't do it full justice. We would love to stay there again.

A beautiful home in a quiet spot in Edinburgh. Close to everything, and a comfortable spot to spend the day enjoying the accommodations of this flat. Absolutely fabulous

This place exceeded our expectations in every way. It is beautifully furnished, warm, and friendly. The beds were really comfortable, wonderful kitchen amenities, We love to cook and it was perfect. We would highly recommend this place to anyone. It is close to lots of great restaurants and shops. If we ever get back to Edinburgh, we will want to stay here.

Elegant, cosy home away from home !

We were two families who spent 4 nights in the apartment. It had everything we needed to enjoy eating and cooking together, playing board games and listening to records.. whilst still having loads of room and privacy. The location was perfect. We LOVED our stay. Thank you so much for having us x

Amazing authentic Edinburgh experience

Fantastic property to stay in with family near some great parts of Edinburgh! The flat was roomy and well appointed with anything you could need. The host was super communicative and accommodating as well. All in all, we would absolutely stay here again given the chance.

Absolutely loved this place

The bedrooms are big with very comfortable beds, two of them king size, the others were queens and the bedding was very nice. The kitchen had everything that you would need, including an ice maker. The living room was very spacious. Great location, close to Waverley station and a grocery store around the corner.

Wonderful Edinburgh

The flat was everything we hoped it would be. Lots of room, wonderful kitchen and beautiful living room to gather at the end of a busy day. The location was fantastic with lots of local restaurants and grocery stores, as well as close to the bus and train stations. Rosanna, who greeted us and patiently answered our questions as they came up over the few days we were there, was delightful. Hope to return another year. The best VRBO in Europe

The flat was fantastic, the location superb, the host, Rosanna, was more than accommodating. I cannot think of one aspect that I would change. I wish that I could give this 6 stars. I only fear that this will not be available if we should choose to return to this beautiful city.

Central yet Quiet

Hannah's apartment was perfect for our family trip to the fringe. Very central (3 mins walk to comedy club and Portrtait Gallery) yet perfectly quiet at night. Great accommodation once inside, spacious, well-decorated / furnished and spotlessly clean. Everyone loved the apartment.

Married for 28 years, we live close to Edinburgh in a village famous for its golf courses and sense of community. We love the city too and visit often. Gordon was born and raised in Edinburgh, Hannah is from England but also lived in South Africa and Kenya. We have three fabulous children, two are doctors and the youngest is at university.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Where to begin! We decided to buy a second home and spent two weekends seeing more than 50 properties. The minute we walked through the door we knew this was the one for us. It is beautifully proportioned with high ceilings and original features, and we have poured our hearts into making it a perfect home. Our kids would never forgive us if we sold it! We love being able to walk to everything and never use a car when we are there. We feel immersed in the fabric of the city. It is really special.

Everything already said and the fact that it is not a 'holiday rental' but a special and much-loved home. You will forgive us for asking about your group before a booking is confirmed. We want to ensure that our apartment is well looked after, and ask all our guests to be respectful of the other residents in the building who live there permanently are all lovely people.
