Alltid en bra tid på södra ön Tybee! och kort bilresa till Savannah!

Vår två våningar lägenhet ligger nära slutet av Butler Avenue och ligger i ett lugnare och mer familjevänligt område som erbjuder enkel tillgång till stranden utan vägar att korsa. Vi tror att vårt läge gör vårt hem till en av de bästa platserna att bo på när du är på ön. Inom två eller tre minuter efter att ha gått ut genom ytterdörren kan du doppa tårna i havet, utforska träsksidan av ön eller fiska från bakre flodbrygga. En fem minuters promenad tar dig till butikerna i "centrum" Tybee, piren eller en av ett antal barer och restauranger som ligger vid stranden och Tybrisa.

Hemmet har 2 våningar och är tillgängligt via en hiss i parkeringshuset under byggnaden. Den kan sova 8-10 bekvämt och anges enligt följande:
På första våningen finns det 3 sovrum och 2 badrum samt ett modernt kök och matplats.
• Sovrum 1 har en drottningssäng med HD-platt-TV och eget badrum.
• Sovrum 2 är ett bra rum för barn och har 2 enkelsängar och en egen HD-platt-TV
• Sovrum 3 ligger utanför vardagsrummet med en mycket bekväm queen-size futon.
Den första våningen har också en omlindad veranda som är en perfekt plats att sitta i slutet av en lång dag på stranden, samt en bekväm soffa och fåtölj att titta på TV.

Befälhavaren svit ligger på andra våningen och erbjuder 2 queen size-sängar, ett badrum, en tvättmaskin och torktumlare och ger också tillgång till två däck med en fantastisk utsikt över den bakre floden. Definitivt den perfekta platsen för en lugn flykt!

Vår egendom är en två våningar lägenhet. Vår enhet erbjuder täckt parkering för 2 bilar med plats för ytterligare 1-2 fordon. Kompletterande WiFi är också tillgängligt.

Close to everything

This was a great spot right in the middle of everything (short walk to water and shops). The property had everything we needed.

needs TLC

Our stay was for a Bach trip. We had an amazing time. Great location and communication, but we did find 3 roaches. The host said the house was due to be sprayed. Overall, the place could use some TCL. Missing some hangers, the deadbolt lock, and the couches had stains. The walls had many marks and tape on them. It just wasn’t the cleanest. The host did let us have a late checkout for the day. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay if you can over look some of the other stuff.

Great Girls Trip

Property was great for 6 gals. Everyone had their own bed. The weather didn’t cooperate with out trip so we had a lot of time to sit on the porch and catch up. Walking distance to beach and beach front dining. We did rent a golf cart so that we could go to some places on the north end.

Fantastic Stay!

We had a fabulous stay!

We loved our stay here! We booked the property for my 30th birthday and had a total of 10 people staying and everyone has a comfortable place to sleep and there was more than enough room! Everything was clean and we had everything we needed! Beautiful wrap around porch and only 1 block walking distance to the beach! The owners were very flexible and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again!

Great spot.

We had a ladies trip and had the best time.The condo was clean and had everything that we needed.We will definitely come back.Perfect location to the beach .Walking distance to a lot of shops .We rented a golf cart to explore the island.Highly recommend that you do the same.

Cute condo close to the beach

First off, the owners are fantastic and very accommodating. The condo was clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The location is perfect in that the beach, shops and restaurants are all a very short walk. Pirate festival was right around the corner. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Tybee. There was lots of room for all and the balconies were great for relaxing!

Wonderful place to stay on Tybee Island!

This home has everything you need for a perfect vacation on Tybee Island. Close to beach, well equipped, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, elevator for convenience! Along with all of that, it is located within walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Anna was terrific to work with, and answered questions quickly. Amazing Property

This property was beautiful. I was impressed that the pictures we seen online were exactly what the property looked like when we got there. Everything was perfect. Fun in the sun

Property location was on point, close walk to everything and far enough away for a restful nights sleep. Property owner was quick to respond to any issues that arose and address them as needed. Only cons: if working remotely internet was subpar. Elevator wasn’t working ( we were notified in advance), 3rd floor was really only an issue when settling in, leaving or when carrying things. We would definitely chose this property again.

Perfect place!

Stayed here for a bachelorette party with 10 girls. Everyone had a bed to sleep in, ample living room space with using dining and counter chairs as well. Nice sheets and bath towels. Had everything we needed in the kitchen with the exception of a pizza wheel! Would 💯 recommend this place and would rent again. Adorable decor as well. The upstairs has a separate ac unit too so the loft doesn’t get hot. Within walking distance to the beach and all the “downtown” action. We had such a great time here. Thank you so much for letting us stay!!

The perfect place for a girls’ get-together.

Pelican’s Retreat was a great place to book for our annual girls trip. It accommodated 7 women very well. The condo is decorated nicely with all the necessary amenities. The owners were very helpful and responsive to some last minute questions about the grill (worked out perfectly for our cook-out night!) The location on the island gave all of us a variety of options to entertain ourselves - rent bikes - beach visits - restaurants and bars - and a new coffee/breakfast place just a half block away. A Savannah day trip is a must! The owners have provided a clean, comfortable and well maintained condo with an excellent guidebook to enjoy a stay on Tybee Island and Savannah.

Great Girl Scout Trip Home Base

Our Girl Scout troop had a great time staying at this property. It was well-suited for our needs in terms of beds, bathrooms, kitchen facilities, and spaces for dining and relaxing. It was in a great location on Tybee. We appreciated the opportunity to stay all together and cook meals instead of staying in hotels in Savannah - and be near the beach. Be advised that the parking is quite narrow (2 cars back to back underneath the unit, with only inches to spare on either side of side mirrors). There is a space for one vehicle not under the building, but if you have multiple ones, be aware it is a tight squeeze (we made it without incident other than some tense moments). We would stay here again in a heartbeat as it was perfectly suited to our needs.

Nice however

This was a great option for what we needed for our short trip. It was a great location for walking to local bars and the beach! I will say, we were only there for a total of 3 days and that was plenty enough for us. The kitchen items (ie. plates, pans, utensils, bowls) were old and poor quality. The couch was stained and had crusted food on it. The bedroom right off of the living room that looked to be meant for an office had a pocket door that was falling off the tract and did not close properly. They did not leave us any trash bags other than the one in the can, which with 6 people was filled on day 1. The electric door handle was malfunctioning and would not lock unless played with (possibly user error but figured I’d mention). The dining room chairs had caked on food on the backs of them. Overall, great property but the cleaners need to do a better job.

Rented property with belief there was an elevator. Contacted a few weeks ago that it was out. Not enough time to find another place (booked a year ago). I have severe knee issues. The stairs were a lot. Saw in comments elevator was also down in 2021. Is it ever operational? Many dishes in cupboard and drawers had food on them. . Great location, although saying you’re on the beach in 2-3 min is a stretch. Parking situation is also nice. And you are not far from shops, stores or restaurants. To accommodate 10 people, you need more towels and wash cloths ( only one per bathroom) and 5 hangers for the whole condo is sad. Could use another couch. Minor problems. Overall we really liked it- cute decor, many extras included, great location.

House needs pest control and general maintenance.

When we arrived after a 12 hour drive, the house had not been cleaned. Thank goodness we arrived early enough in the evening to find this out. We were not able to check in until after 8 pm due to the home being cleaned because of a mix-up on the owner's part. Having said that, the owner had no empathy for this situation suggesting that we go out to dinner and when we return the place would be clean. I asked if he would be comping us any for this inconvenience as that seemed like the right thing to do. A later text stated "you want a reimbursement for what might be a 4 - 8 hour delay. And it's not that you can't be there enjoying the balcony and putting away your food. You can probably go ahead and start cooking." He suggested that we use the balcony and start cooking while the cleaners were there. It wasn't until I contacted VRBO and got a case number that he would even entertain anything I was asking and offered an apology for his mix-up. Not a way to do business bud. PRO's - the house is 2 blocks from the beach. CON's - the house needs some pest control. We killed several bugs throughout the week. There is a towel hook in the main floor bathroom that keeps falling down when you hang/remove a towel and it’s not a lightweight hook. There is a missing baluster on the second floor balcony (a child could fit through the opening) so it’s dangerous. Also the bedroom overhead light in the 1st floor bedroom with the queen bed closest to the balcony needs replaced (it does not work/bulb is blown). Wi-Fi is extremely slow so if you plan on doing any remote work, you're out of luck. This is a 3rd floor unit and the elevator is broke (which we found out about 3 weeks before our arrival). I understand this last one is not the owners fault but just an FYI. By the time we found out, it was too late to book another place. I sent this list to the owner on our last day but never heard anything back. Won't be renting from VRBO's again unless it's a last resort.

Excellent location and wonderful set up

We were very pleased with everything and plan to stay here again in the future. The only suggestion I have is to either replace or clean the couch and loveseat. There were a lot of stains on the seats which made us not want to sit on them. Everything else was wonderful!

Super Lage, aber einige Abstriche

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr schön, die Lage ist ein Traum, sehr nah zum Strand und zu kleinen Geschäften sowie Restaurants. Abstriche gibt es für den Aufzug, der leider immer noch nicht funktioniert. Wir hatten jemand mit Krücken dabei, was leider sehr kompliziert war. Außerdem hatten wir 3 Kakerlaken in der Wohnung! Die Kommunikation mit Alan war super und am nächsten Tag kam direkt der Kammerjäger. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung und Handtücher war leider auch nicht so gut.

Relaxing at it's Best

This was a much needed "Girls Trip" and the house did not disappoint! We had everything we needed, the location was fantastic. We were close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away that we could enjoy a quiet restful time when desired. The house was lovely and we would definitely stay again. The only issue was the dishwasher. The top rack needs to be fixed so it doesn't fall down when loading. Otherwise, a top notch trip!

Excellent place to stay for Tybee Island vacation!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. The proximity to the beach is so convenient - just a short couple of minute walk and don't have to worry about figuring out where to park. The beach was great for kids and there are restaurants close by as well. We also enjoyed taking a boat ride to see dolphins and explore the island. The condo had several helpful conveniences like trash bags, paper towels, etc., cooking utensils and dishes, which was an added bonus.

Location was so convenient. Short walking distance to everything. No parking problems because we didn't need a car. I think that's what I enjoyed the most.

We moved to Savannah in 2013 and fell in love with the area and decided to call Georgia our home. Our home is about an hour away from Tybee Island, and we love going to the beach when ever we can and especially on the hot Georgia sunny days! Tybee Island, of course is one of our favorite places to head too!

Varför värden valde detta boende

It is just steps to the beach, and located in a bit of a quieter area. We chose to invest in this particular property because of the location, and the fact that there are only four total units in the building. It also has a elevator, and undercover parking. The inside of the condo is larger than most we looked at and that is a nice for accommodating larger groups when vacationing. This unit is a upper unit so it has a second floor to it, which really makes it spacious for travelers to spread out. The bonus was the three baths, which again is great for larger groups and really makes it nice for when everyone is trying to get ready for those fun-filled days while on vacation!

There is a wonderful balcony that is good size for relaxing and catching up after a long day at the beach! Plenty of room for all to be hanging out. There are two balconies on the upper level as well that are wonderful to catch a ocean breeze. Even though this property sits on the back side of the ocean views, there are some peekaboo views of the ocean from those upper balconies.
