Grizzly Rose Guest Cottage ligger på 35 hektar på fastigheten som kallas Ravensnest. Grizzly Rose Guest Stuga består av två sovrum, två badrum, ett fullt utrustat kök och en omslagsveranda. Varje sovrum består av en queen size-säng, ett litet sittområde med TV / parabol-satellit. Det finns privat parkering och många uteplatser och verandor för uteservering.

Det finns vandring och promenader på fastigheten samt intilliggande BLM land. Vi ligger på baksidan av Mesa Verde i dalen mot Ute Mountain Ute Mountain. Deras är två medicinhjul på fastigheten samt en Tipi för din egen andliga reträtt. Fastigheten består av många blickar och koi dammar.

At the Grizz from Texas

Besides clean, comfortable, & safe my family could not stop talking about all the unique decorations. My family did not like the taste of the water because we have RO units at home but I had zero problem with the water because I don’t use RO water at home 😜

A Place to Reset

The property is beautiful and so peaceful. My om and I stayed for a few days and loved the clean space, outdoor spaces and the owner, Michelle. She was so kind and responsive. My mom and I have traveled extensively in remote areas and she wants us to come back. We will be definitely be doing that.

Calm and Relaxing

My son and I recently stayed at Grizzly Roadhouse. The entire location was amazing. Michelle was most welcoming and we shared some great conversations concerning the entire area. I will definitely stay there again!

Nice little cottage

Stayed here while doing work in Cortez, the location is located 10 minutes feom town and is very nice and well stocked. We bought coffee and forgot filters but there were already some onsite as well as many other things you may need. Host was very nice and checked in with us during the stay to see if we needed anything. She was also nice enough to suggest good dining in the area. My daughter and I took a nice walk along the canal located on the backside of the property. Beautiful sunsets and scenery. Bed was comfortable and it was a quiet and peaceful retreat.

Great get away

I booked this location for my family mainly because of its location to Mesa Verde NP but also for the dark sky opportunities. Michelle is so friendly and kind and the property is very well maintained and can tell so much thought is put into making our stay a wonderful one.

Beautiful getaway!

Really enjoyed our stay. Cottage is equipped with everything you need. Loved having coffee and meals on the back porch. Beautiful view of trees and mountains. The water sounds were very soothing. Will return again!

Fantastic Property, Gracious Host

This property was absolutely gorgeous! Nestled along a tree-filled gulch, filled with flowers and a flowing stream, it was most relaxing. In the evening, the stars were spectacular. Sunrise and sunset were breathtaking. The interior was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and the kitchen was well stocked. Michelle was so gracious! She was knowledgeable about the area, and so friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with her.

Mesa Retreat

My wife, son and I really enjoyed our stay at the Grizzly cottage. we had everything we needed to relax after enjoying the NP's. really enjoyed the remote day beds to stargaze. We just don't see that many stars in the Chicago area.

Excellent accommodations and visit

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting sights in the area. The cabin was wonderful - clean and well equipped. Michelle was a great host, very friendly, easy to communicate with, and knowledgeable about the area. Her restaurant recommendations were spot-on!

We could not have enjoyed our stay any more! If you're looking for a peaceful stay, for rest during your visit to Colorado/Four Corners area, or looking for adventure that's within driving distance in any direction from this location, - this is the place to stay! We cannot wait to go back.

Very Comfortable Place

We really enjoyed our two day stay. Michelle was very responsive to questions and met us at the house to orient us to it. The house is close to Cortez and Mesa Verde National Park is a short drive away. We would certainly stay here again if we were in the area.

Great little cottage!

The cottage was cute, wonderfully equipped & decorated and very clean. It was a real plus to have two bathrooms as well. We were also impressed with the outside areas to enjoy when weather permits.

Very Cute

It was very nice staying here, the cottage was very cute and comfortable, the outdoor seating at the cottage and the landscaping was lovely. The shared outdoor spaces where nice, we had a fire in the teepee that was stocked with wood and paper to get the fire going, the furniture in the teepee could use some updating, but it was fun. the hammock area had a large boat stored at the edge of the yard right next to it which made it seem more like someones yard vs a vacation rental spot. Overall it was a great stay though. We really enjoyed it.

Deerhaven guest Cottage, Grizzly Rose guest Cottage and the Bears Den studio apartment are located at Ravensnest. The property was originally owned by my parents and is considered our home place. I purchased it in 1989 from my parents and I have created an incredible Spirit of place. My parents both worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and dedicated their lives to working on Native Reservations. They were both detailed to Mescalero Apache Reservation. The home was vacant and decided to purchase and created my incredible space. I have dedicated 30 years working in the Arctic Circle helping to provide dental services to the Native Children. I am honored and humbled by my work and am profoundly greatful for the that opportunity.
