Tree Top-stuga vid floden Shenandoah

Tree Top Àr en helt ny specialbyggd semesteruthyrning som precis öppnades i augusti 2017. Det Àr nÀra vÄra fiskefÀllor och gröna slottets hytter och Àr, liksom dem, ocksÄ flodfronten, sitter högt ovanför floden med ett omrÄde att gÄ ner till flodkanten. Det Àr en del av en 18 tunnland "fiskfÀlla" plats som anvÀndes av forntida amerikanska indier för hundratals Är sedan.

Tree Top Àr en stor vacker fastighet med ett modernt vackert exteriör och interiör. TrÀgolv, rostfria apparater, plattskÀrms-TV - allt Àr nytt, lyxigt och vÀntar pÄ din personliga njutning. Bilderna fÄngar en del av skönheten, modern design, naturen och öppna ytor. Ta en titt pÄ dessa och dricka allt i det!

NÄgot vi Àr extra stolta över - Tree Top byggdes med funktionshindrade individer i Ätanke. FrÄn den frÀmre bÄgen till de bredare dörrarna och duschar / handfat med lÄg ingÄng gjorde vi vÄrt bÀsta för att rymma rullstolar. Huset kanske inte Àr perfekt för alla funktionshindrade - frÄga oss om det om du inte Àr sÀker - men det ansÄgs starkt före tiden och införlivades i designen.

NÀr det gÀller storlek kan Tree Top passa större grupper pÄ 10 men kan ocksÄ fungera för ett par eller en liten familj. Det finns tre (3) sovrum och tvÄ (2) badrum. Det tredje sovrummet Àr det stora loftomrÄdet du ser i vardagsrumsbilderna. Det finns en drottning och tvÄ enkelsÀngar i det loftomrÄdet. De tvÄ viktigaste sovrummen har bÄda queen-sÀngar.

Anniversary Trip

We had a wonderful time. The house was very nice and in a great location. We'll come back in the summer months to enjoy the river.

Tree Tops

We spent Thanksgiving here with our adult children and our pups, and we had a great time! Lovely home, amazing river views, and quiet seclusion. Just what we needed! The house was immaculate, large kitchen that worked great for our holiday meal prep, and very comfortable seating. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing

This property is in a gorgeous, peaceful location with a spectacular view of the Shenandoah River. Sitting on the spacious balcony you can hear the river sounds and watch blue herons fly by. It’s impossible to be stressed on that balcony! The interior of the house is lovely and we found it to be immaculately clean! We’ll be back!

Gorgeous and peaceful

This is a beautiful, well equipped, and comfortable home with an amazing setting and views. We loved the gas fireplace with the timer. Property management was quick to respond. One thing for renters to note (as also cited in previous reviews) is that the lower part of the house is NOT accessible from inside the house. So — a long cold walk around if you use the hot tub.

Lovely view - great for family and dog

We enjoyed the lovely view and use of the canoes. Although we didn’t catch any fish, it was fun to see the waterfowl and turtles. The cabin was clean and welcoming. The hot tub was warm and clean. We appreciated the plentiful towels and full sized washer/dryer. As others noted, it’s a good idea to bring a flashlight to navigate from the house to the firepit/hot tub at night. Also remember to bring soap/shower wash. Luray has plenty of restaurants and stores and is only about 15 minutes away. This cabin is part of a collection of 7 other houses. The other rentals are visible to each other but Tree Top is at the end and private on one side with a great view and easy river access. If i was choosing again- this is the one I’d pick. We traveled in mid-March and had the area to ourselves for most of the week. Our dog loved it here too, the decked railing kept her safe to enjoy the sunshine with us. WiFi is provided by Star-link . It was good for work, acceptable for video calls, but did not support 4k streaming.

Great location for a fun weekend getaway.

The house was very nice. Its location on the river and and outdoor decks were prefect. The place was clean and as described in the listing. The only thing the annoyed me were the little extra fees. $270 charge for extra guests. We had 6 people total in a 3 bedroom house. $37 dollars for firewood. They will charge you $5 if you don't drive 2 miles down the road with your trash and throw it in a dumpster. When a place rents for $700 a night after taxes and fees I would think they would have a dumpster on site. Setting aside those minor grievances we had a great weekend at the house and in the Shenandoah Valley.

Beautiful spacious home with backyard river access

Beautiful home! Came well-stocked with paper towels, garbage bags, coffee filters, firewood, towels etc. Lots of open space to hang out inside, on the deck, by the firepit, in the screen porch. The furniture and decor is gorgeous. We ended up having quite a few more guests than originally planned and paid the difference after the stay with no issues. Friendly management company and would love to return. There is access to the river behind the house, down the road or down a very steep hill. Bring your floats! A few small cons: The main room and loft brighten with sunrise and will wake all sleepers (but the ample natural light is gorgeous during the day). All sounds echo up to the loft and through the walls to the two bedrooms. There is another rental house just next door and no privacy between. All in all, a gorgeous and wonderful vacation rental and friendly management company.

Something for Everyone

This was the perfect spot to end 2023 and ring the new year! The views were breathtaking even, this this time of year and I would love to come back every season! It was quiet at the end of the path and we had plenty of privacy. The sound of the river below was so peaceful. We found the home very clean and much roomy than expected. We loved of course the views, sitting on the deck, and walking down to the river. The screened in room down below was a nice surprise. It was so relaxing to sit in the hot tub then and then to stay warm at the fire pit and have Smores. The grill was perfect to cook our New Year's Eve filet. The kitchen was spacious and fully stocked and the large dining room table gave us plenty of room to have game nights. There were plenty of towels and having the laundry room with a place to put our outerwear worked out well. The handicap ramp and bathroom was a big help for my disabled mother. The Christmas tree was a nice touch. When we were not just enjoying hanging out at the house, we hiked trails in Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah State Park and drove along Skyline Drive, which is a must see. We visited the Luray Caverns, car museum, maze, and Luray Valley Museum and found them very interesting and worth it. We ate at the Watch and Warrant in town. The food was delicious and we had great service. Also, we went horseback riding at Fort Valley Ranch. It was on a mountain trail with the most incredible views of the valley. As Good As It Looks...

Tree Top Cabin was very clean and included all the little things that made it homey...games, movies, puzzles, all the extra cleaning supplies, washer/dryer, etc. We were a family of five and we were all pleased with the cabin and the surrounding property.

Amazing views and relaxing setting

Tree Top was an amazing place to stay. It's very easy to access from the driveway as it's just one step up into the main floor and kitchen. Unloading your vehicle is a breeze. The kitchen has all the essentials you need. The river view from the back deck is beautiful and the sound of the river is very relaxing. We brought two dogs, one is a very senior lab mix with limited ability to walk. The owners helped me ahead of time in communicating there is a river pathway to avoid the long set of stairs down to the river. I was able to use a cart to help carry my dog down the path and let him enjoy some time in the water. The river pathway is just back up the main driveway as you come towards Tree Top. The use of the provided canoes and accessories was great and meant we didn't have to bring any of that gear. The river was a bit challenging to navigate due to a lot of recent rain and strong current but it was doable. The trick is to make it to the opposite bank away from the home. There is a small island and it creates a shallow, slow section you can use to help go up-river. From there, you can paddle up stream in a slower section, make your way back to the home side of the river, and then paddle back down river to exit. I would definitely come back and also try some of the other rental homes at this location. The process, communication, and overall stay was fantastic. Thank you for a great get-away!

Riverside Cabin

Our family enjoyed our long weekend in this cabin. The location was great -- quiet and peaceful, but not too far from town and the entrance to the park. The fire pit, hot tub, and river access made this a great base for our family. We loved that our dogs were able to enjoy this cabin with us:)

Great get away

We loved this beautiful cabin and the location! Great views and perfect access to the river. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we loved the hot tub. Only downside was all the bugs, but that's to be expected when so close to the water. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. We'd love to come back again soon! :)

Nice modern cabin on the river

The cabin overall was beautiful. The location was nice right on the river and easy to get to. Very nice modern home with good amenities. Only downsides we found was the beds were awfully small (definitely not queen mattresses), the hot tub was kinda dirty, and neighbors were right on top of us we felt. But none of this prevented us from having an excellent weekend there. Still recommend the place.

Relaxing Weekend

We had a great weekend at Tree Top. The house was the perfect size for kid group of 6. We enjoyed the canoes and fishing off the dock. The house was well equipped and clean. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Our Happy Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tree Top. We continue to come back year after year! As always, the house was clean and everything in great working order! We enjoyed beautiful days kayaking on the river and evenings out at the firepit and in the hot tub. Meal times were a breeze with everything needed in the kitchen. We will be back soon!

Wonderful family getaway

We had a wonderful two night stay at Tree Top. We thoroughly enjoyed the location- set above the Shenandoah River with a great deck to view from. We saw birds ranging from Bald Eagles to hummingbirds and enjoyed listening to them. The fire pit, hot tub, and canoes were great fun. Cabin itself was clean, large windows to enjoy nature setting (even with a day of rain!) rooms were spacious and kitchen well stocked. We will definitely return!
