För arbete eller lek och TX gästfrihet som bäst. Sviten har en mysig sittgrupp, skrivbord, öppen spis, queen size-säng med lyxiga sängkläder, kontinental frukost / kaffebar / och gott om godsaker. STOR anpassat badrum w / spa-dusch och allt nödvändigt. Takfläktar och bekväma möbler. Tvättmaskin / torktumlare finns i 'gemensamt område'.Detta är en Borderow-postorder från 1923, men har uppdaterats med alla moderna bekvämligheter. Utseendet är rustikt / elegant, TX Hill Country, med en touch av romantik! Stor privat parkeringsplats omgiven av vackra växter och skuggor. Varje svit har sin egen privata ingång och alla har tillgång till en mycket fin täckt veranda / sittgrupp för morgonkaffe och kvällsavslappning. Fastigheten ligger mycket nära centrum - faktiskt inom gångavstånd till restauranger, bryggerier, drogaffär, domstolshus, Cailloux Theatre, flera kyrkor, mycket nära vår vackra kommunala golfbana, gymnasium, plus VA, Peterson och statliga sjukhus , Schreiner College ligger precis längs vägen, floden Guadalupe och 5 mil gångväg är mycket nära och vår lista kan fortsätta och fortsätta !! Kerrville är ett utmärkt ställe för motorcyklister, cyklister, gamla bilentusiaster - TXHighway 39 kramar övre Guadalupe-floden, vi är faktiskt inte på TX 39 MEN vi fungerar som en bra scen för resten av Hill Country, oavsett vilken riktning du väljer att gå. Vi är nära Bandera, Leaky, Lost Maples State Park, Medina, Comfort, Ingram, Hunt, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, Sisterdale, Boerne, "Three Twisted Sister" -spår etc. Du kan till och med gå på en dagstur i några av de närliggande vingårdar, bryggerier och destillerier - eller låta en limousin hämta dig och släppa dig precis vid vår ytterdörr. Wonderful place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at bois’d arc. The room was comfortable and clean. Clair was an amazing hostess and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Oasis in the Hill Country

This beautiful property is exactly as you see online. The owner has done a wonderful job with these bungalows and all the appointments. The host is extremely personal in greeting you and making you feel at home. This is the only place we will stay in the Hill Country. It is a 10 out a 10 in every way. Thank you for your gracious hospitality.

Excellent stay

The suite is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need and MORE! We were upgraded to the bigger unit with a massive king sized bed and very comfortable sitting area. The porch outside the door was a perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and just relax after driving all day. The house is close to downtown and lots of restaurants. The compact built in kitchen was stocked with all kinds of snacks and breakfast items. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for accommodation in Kerrville. It is far superior to any hotel.

Amazing property!

This property exceeded my expectations! It was so clean, comfy bed and so much space. The furnishings are all beautiful antiques. Every detail is perfect. The snacks provided were a welcome treat after a long drive. Wonderful location which is just a short walk into downtown for any meal or shopping. Can’t wait to go back! Claire is amazing and this property is a true gem.

I can't say enough good things about this VRBO. The owner, Clair, is just fabulous. She is warm and gracious, and had lots of information about the area. She has an extraordinary eye for detail in her suites and common areas. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back.

Fabulous Stay

My mom and I stayed for a family reunion. The location was perfect for us. We were very pleased with the bungalow. They left us food and drinks. Would we stay here again, in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this to anyone in the Kerrville area.

Wonderful little gem

We will definitely start here again. Just dropped our kid at school. Quick trip over night, but this place was perfect and has everything you would ever need. Makes you feel at home. Host is very pleasant. Drinks snacks breakfast treats and coffee.

Wonderful Host and Accomodation

Clair met us on arrival and showed us our room and all the common areas. The home is lovely and Clair is simply a great host. She was available and responded to messages and questions right away and always cheerfully. Cannot recommend Bois d’Arc highly enough!!

Beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay so much! We had everything we needed and more. The bed was so comfortable, and we really enjoyed relaxing and talking on the porch. We were close to restaurants and the river for a long walk. We’d love to go back and stay again! Clair made us feel like we were right at home.

Location was perfect. I could walk if I wanted to the old downtown area. The Christmas lights were still up and lovely in Kerrville. The room was exactly as expected and very comfortable.

Kerrville Getaway

This was our second time staying at this property, and it was just as great as our first visit. My wife and I were in town for a BMW motorcycle MOA event it it was the perfect location to enjoy the town, and also a great starting point for day rides around the beautiful country side. We would defiantly recommend the property and we hope to go back again in the future.

Clair received us with a tour of the property. We immediately felt welcomed and right at home. Furnished with the intention of recreating a place of rest and relaxation, we enjoyed the sense of home without the day-to-day responsibilities. We were grateful for Clair’s local restaurant recommendations as well as her insight into local activities. The reflective sitting area, comfortable bed, and a splendid en suite – all guaranteed we will be back for another stopover soon!

Cozy and charming

Property was easy to locate. Rooms were lovely. Well stocked coffee bar, including snacks, loved the candy jars throughout the property, small refrigerator was stocked with milk and juices, bowl of fresh fruit, much more. We have met the dearest, most wonderful guests/friends, a person could ever hope or dream for, by owning and operating our BnB‼️When we initially purchased this 1927 Bungalow (we think a Sears Roebuck catalog one) it was to be our office! We remodeled it at that time for that sole purpose and used it for several years! Then our daughter suggested turning it into a BnB - so here we go remodeling it again!
But that has been the very best decision we made, we have had the privilege of being able to meet the most interesting people from all walks of life and hope to do so for many years😉

Varför värden valde detta boende

As I mentioned earlier - this was initially purchased to be our office. But after a few years, things changed. The property is actually are part of a whole block, with 3 sides facing a street and we put in a private parking lot. Also we are situated just a few blocks from downtown - so very, very convent to most everything (restaurants, the Calioux, breweries, coffee shops, municipal golf course, River walk and much, much more)
Since we do have 2 corners, there is traffic noise when you are outside, but when you are inside it’s very muffled and the atmosphere is cozy/comfy!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Kerrville is a great base for the motorcyclists, bicyclists, old car buffs, wine and beer enthusiasts, ‘River rats’ (the Guadalupe River offers such an array of wonderful activities - boating, tubing, swimming, 5 mile river walking path, kiaking, etc.). Tx Highway 39 hugs the Upper Guadalupe River, we are not actually on TX39 BUT we can serve as a great staging ploint for the rest of the TX Hill Country, no matter which direction you decide to go! We are close to Bandera (the Cowboy Capital of TX), San Antonio (with its popular River Walk, The Alamo, many old Missonary’s, etc), Boerne, Fredericksburg (an amazing old German town with more shopping than you can do in a day), Luckenbach (Willie Nelson played here, outdoor seating, singing, good food and roosters in the trees), Lost Maples State Park (beautiful hiking), Medina; Comfort and Ingram (both great if you like antiques), Ingram is an ‘artists delight’ and also offers outdoor summer plays; looking for an absolutely beautiful drive - high natural rock walls and flowing creek for miles an miles, just follow along the Hunt road!), the ‘Three Twisted Sisters’ (motorcyclists love these three uniquely beautiful twisted roads), There is so much to keep you occupied in our area, we are close to so much and in such a diverse area. Plus, we have so many wineries popping up (they say we are going to be the second Napa Valley), also many breweries and a few distilleries - there are limo’s that will pick you up and drop you back off, right at the BnB’s front door. This property is close to downtown - so within walking distance you can go to restaurants, breweries, dive bars, clubs, The Cailloux Theatre, multiple churches, drug store, etc, And close driving distance is Schreiner College, our beautiful municipal golf course, the VA, Peterson and State hospitals, the list could go on and on. You will just have to come visit our beautiful Texas Hill Country to see for yourself - promise not to steer you wrong!
