Detta nybyggda trä och sten stuga har en veranda med utsikt över en damm. Det är perfekt för en lugn och avskild få bort från staden. Du kan vandra över kullarna, fisk ned på floden eller bara koppla av i hängmattan. Alla typer av infödda och exotiska Texas djurlivet kan ses på fastigheten. Stugan ligger bara en halv mil utanför Cade Loop väg på 120 tunnland. Detta område är den vackraste delen av Texas Hill Country. Även om stugan är ute i landet, är det mindre än en fem minuters bilresa till Guadalupe River och Ingram Lake. Stugan har 400 kvadratfot vardagsrum med ett vardagsrum / kök, sovrum och badrum. Köket har ett litet kylskåp, mikrovågsugn, diskbänk och stora brödrost. I vardagsrummet finns en soffa som kan förvandlas till en drottning bäddsoffa. Badrummet har ett handfat, toalett och dusch. Takfläktar är i varje rum och det finns två fläktar på verandan. Elektriska hotell liknande ac / värme enheter i sovrummen håller dig varm eller kall. Det är en perfekt plats för ett par eller en liten familj. Allt detta, plus den moderna lyxen med begränsade data, gratis WI-FI!

Beautiful Getaway

This is exactly what we were looking for on Memorial Day weekend. My husband and I are nature lovers and wanted to get away from the crowds and enjoy some quiet time. We had 120 acres all to ourselves and got to hike and explore. We saw lots of wildlife and incredible starry skies that we don’t get to see in the city. Our hosts were wonderful and made themselves readily available if we needed anything. The cabin was very clean and comfortable with a great porch that we used often. We were even greeted with a bouquet of fresh flowers on the table. It was a slice of heaven and we can’t wait to go back!

This place is a gem!

We had a wonderful time in this little cabin. It was completely secluded, peaceful, and serene. At dusk each night, a whippoorwill started singing and we saw several deer. The sunsets were amazing! It was very comfortable and relaxing.

Hill country hideaway

Quiet, secluded location. Some wildlife and large fish in the lake. Only disappointment was burn ban restricting outside fires, but wasn't really cool enough at night to enjoy a fire anyway. Thanks to hosts Philip and Jeanne...we enjoyed our stay very much. We'll be back

Great Experience !

This was our second time on this property, the owner and his wife have created more than a getaway; it is such as a great experience for whoever wants to run away from the city. This place is to disconnect your brain, relax and enjoy the nature in a very comfortable cabin. We will be back soon !

Relaxing!

Loved our stay! Had the best time fishing, enjoying nature, cooking out, making s’mores, watching the fireflies and enjoying nature! A great place to get away from it all but still close to kerville for a trip to town if needed.

Nice little break!

Our second visit to Papa's Palace went very well. We had uncommonly cool weather during this and the prior visit. The fishing is good, the noise is low and the escaping the rat race feeling was complete. Watching the mist rise off of the pond at sunrise while drinking coffee--priceless.

Family Getaway

We rented both cabins on the property and couldn’t have been happier. The location was perfectly secluded, however a short drive to town. The pond was perfect for swimming/fishing. Fire pit and grill on site. Overall amazing time, we hope to come back. Tips: use Waze app for directions, my IPhone map wouldn’t find the location If you’re using the living room to sleep take a fan the living room was much warmer than the bedroom

Loved it!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My only complaint would be the lack of blinds and/or curtains on some of the windows. We had a horrible thunderstorm the first night and there was no way to block out the flashes of lightning. However other than that small inconvenience, it was a perfect stay! If you’re looking for a country stay, away from noise and crowds, this is the great place.

Our families are fourth and sixth generation Texans. We've been lucky enough to live and raise our family in the beautiful Hill Country along the Guadalupe River. I am a retired banker and school teacher and am currently the director of a local non-profit organization. I enjoy spending time outdoors.

This property has been in my family since 1936 when my grandfather purchased it. The 120 acre pasture is part of a larger working ranch that is located between Ingram and Hunt Texas.

Beautiful natural scenery along with gorgeous Texas sunsets from the tops of the hills. Quiet and peaceful but located just minutes away from Texas Highway 39 that takes you to west to the quaint town of Hunt (10 minutes) or east to Kerrville (15 minutes). San Antonio, Texas is just an hour away.
