Njut av en avkopplande semester vid denna vackra vattnet hemma med fantastisk panoramautsikt över Currituck Sound & Lighthouse (För närvarande det enda hyreshuset i Coinjock som faktiskt är rätt på Currituck Sound inte över vägen för tillgång till vatten.) Lyssna på vattnet medan du sover i den skuggade hängmatta. Titta på soluppgången med ditt morgonkaffe.

En 150 "brygga och lusthus är perfekt för romantiska kvällar på vattnet. Du kan bara känna din spänning smälta bort.

Roligt är på menyn för alla i spelrummet w / ett biljardbord, air hockey, fotboll, bordtennis, dartbord och en unik Nintendo Arcade Unit w / flera spel. Du kan spela brädspel, pussel eller kort och gott om sittplatser. En däck, solrum, grill, picknick / uteplats bord tillåter stora måltider och konversation. Båtliv, fiske, crabbing och simning precis i din egen bakgård! En privat båt ramp kan du sätta din båt eller jet ski in, och bara knyta det vid kajen. Du kan fiska eller krabba direkt från bryggan och använd fiskrengöringsstationen * (för närvarande ersättas - uppdateringar att följa) med rinnande vatten för att förbereda din fångst för att laga mat

Du är nära nog att spendera dagen på stranden (25 minuter med bil), och alla dess attraktioner, sedan komma tillbaka till en lugn och lugn miljö. De enda ljuden du hör på natten är vatten och moder naturen på sitt bästa, Star stirrar är fenomenalt, eftersom du är borta från stadens ljus.

Perfect family getaway

Amazing location and space. We fished, played and relaxed. Traveled with small children and everyone was perfectly accommodated the entire trip. We would love to come again.

Coinjock on the Currituck

We wanted to stay near the outer banks without staying at the beach. This sound side house was perfect. We fished on the pier the whole trip and made day trips to outer banks. Local dining was outstanding! Everything was great!

Relaxing escape

I took my kids for a quick getaway to enjoy the outdoors and spend some quality time together. House was great, location was perfect and in a quiet area and there were lots of things to do with all of the games and amenities. We would definitely return!

Perfect getaway

This home and location was absolutely perfect—peaceful, scenic, and super comfortable. The location right on the sound was stunning. We loved waking up to the water views and it felt like our own little piece of paradise.The game room was such a fun bonus! Whether we were playing pool, ping pong, board games, or just hanging out, it made our downtime really enjoyable. The whole place was thoughtfully designed.Our host was responsive and the neighbors were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing Mini Vacay

Gorgeous property with so much to do that you don’t need to go anywhere else! The sunrises are amazing! Owners are communicative and lovely to work with. We will definitely be staying here again!

Plentiful coffee and above average bed

The location was great, there was tons of coffee available and the bed was waaay better than what you typically find in rentals. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Perfect and peaceful

The house is spacious and comfortable. The game room was fun. The dock is amazing and where we spent 90% of our time. The neighbors were very friendly and gave us fresh fish and steamed crabs. 🦀

Great vacation!

Lots to do, we got the Kayak supplement and used them everyday. The game room was awesome. The neighbors were very friendly and shared their catch of the day with us. Fishing and crabbing were fun, great views and fun times. The hosts thought of everything! We would love to visit again!

Awesome Stay

Caught lots of Blue Crab off the pier! The neighbor was great and gave us some puppy drum fillets which were delicious! My boys loved the game room, and fishing on the pier!

Currituck Sound home

This was probably the best location and home we have stayed at. We all really enjoyed our stay here. Kids loved the game room. We fished and crabbed from the pier. Neighbors carried us fishing also. It was a trip my son will never forget. The neighbors were so nice and friendly. Everything was perfect!

Picturesque views

This property had everything we could have wanted. The house was extremely clean, the kitchen had every pot, knife, cup, etc that you could want. The beds were comfortable and everything was well labeled and thought out. We made good use of the game room because we did have a lot of rain, which made the driveway flood, so our water shoes came in handy. Kayaking was a lot of fun and easy to access. The fishing pier was lovely, and we tried our luck daily. Not too much going on in town but it was a 30 minute drive to the Outer Banks so we took advantage of the goings on there quite often. Overall it was a wonderful relaxing vacation.

Wonderful property, beautiful views, very friendly neighborhood!

We really enjoyed our stay! The view of the Sound was amazing, especially sitting on the screened porch at night, listening to the sounds of the waves. The house was extremely clean! The kitchen was really well equipped and there was a huge selection of movies and ample board games for lazy evenings. The game room had everything you'd want with all of the necessary pieces and parts (a ping pong table with paddles and ping pong balls, a pool table with pool cues and a full set of billiard balls, etc.). This is a wonderful rental!

Perfect family vacation spot

What a perfect week. My husband and I traveled with our teenagers and our 2 dogs and had such a great time. We did drive to the Outter banks on a few of the days (45 min drive) but preferred to hang out at the property. The sun rise and sun sets, the views, the dock, the fenced in yard for the dogs, the amazing neighbors, the bikes, the Sun porch and the game room were highlights for us. Note that the kayaks in the pictures are not included with the rental and come at an additional price. That was our only disappointment. Would rent this place again in a heartbeat!

Amazing ! Relaxing ! Serene !

We had a great time ! It was myself my husband father in laws 3 kids (17,13,10) and 2 small Yorkies ! We enjoyed breakfast and dinner daily on the porch , the kids loved crabbing and my son husband and father loved fishing and catching their nightly dinner ! The game room was a huge hit and the board games were a nice nightly family fun event. The house had everything we needed ! The Neighbors on Each side were both so amazing, kind and friendly we enjoyed anytime we interacted with them , Ron even shared fresh fish with us , the fully fenced in property was perfect for the dogs they smiled ear to ear all week ! We took time to visit all the outter Banks had to offer from horse tours in Corolla to the Duck boardwalk and Duck donuts to the Bodie island light house and pea island etc ! We vacation a lot but come home tired this vaca was truly the definition of relaxation! We already are missing it and it’s beem 25 hours ! Everyone has already requested a repeat visit next year :)

Think small, quant and quiet

If youre the kind of person that likes to be where the action is, doesn't like "nature" (bugs, birds, etc.) this is not the place for you. If you're the kind of person who likes to sit by the water and relax with nothing by the sound of the breeze around you, yet also be close enough to the ocean you can be there in under 30 minutes, this place is great. We had 3 teens/preteens, who are very different from eachother with us. Only once did we have them come to us trying to figure out what to do and even then it was only after being in the house for 10 hours because of a major storm that came through. They played board games, pinball, ping pong, went on the water craft, swam, and even played crochet. Some of the games are older and not functioning but there was still plenty to do. We found out crabbing isn't what it used to be thanks to new vegetation in the sound. We still caught some but not much. About 3-6 per day. One thing we had planned on, that didnt work out the way we initially planned, was one person was going to sleep on the sofa in the game room. However, the game room is not accessible via the inside of the house, it is only accessible via an outside entrance under th enclosed porch. It didn't impact our stay but could impact others if they weren't expecting that. Over all a great vacation. Even the family member who hates warm weather and beaches wants to go back.

Just amazing.

This place was absolutely perfect for the entire family! The kids had plenty of things to do between the game room, board games, basketball, corn hole, PS2, Wii, and much more! We loved this home. So relaxing and fun. Highly recommended.

So much fun!

The house is great. Clean, comfortable beds, and the best porch views! Everything works. The game room is a nice option, especially if the weather isn’t ideal. Location is quiet and accessible. We enjoyed day trips to Corolla and Kitty Hawk, which are 1 hr and 30 mins away, respectively.

The Twifords, Sam and Jodi, (owners) both grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. We moved to the the NC/VA area in 1993. We had 3 beautiful daughters Rachel, Julia, and Samantha (spaced over an 11 year period) We had always wanted a place on the water, a place to enjoy with our children but within a manageable driving distance.

In 2003 we stumbled upon this amazing location. After purchasing the property, we found we were unable to use it as much as we hoped and the expenses of maintaining a waterfront property were much more than we had anticipated.

We decided to share it with others. We had never overseen a vacation rental before, and found it to be quite a learning experience. For the first several years, we operated at a loss. Once we started making a little money on the property, we decided to reinvest most of the money into improving the property, equipment, and overall experience for our guest.

As you review the photos and read the descriptions of the property, you will see we are always updating, upgrading and adding more activities to the property.

Many of the updates have come about from us simply staying here over a weekend and wishing that something was different or added. For example, we added a new family member in 2023, Nova, our German Shepard. It only took 1 weekend of my wife and I sharing the bed with Nova and we upgraded the queen beds to king beds.

We strive to have all the amenities you would have at home, (fast wifi, plenty of usb ports, lots of dishes, utensils, spices, and loads and loads activities for the whole family to enjoy). Our goal is to make our home feel like your home as soon as you walk in the door. All you need to bring to have a great time is your family, clothes, food and toiletry items, everything else is there for you.

Breath taking views, and tranquil days, relaxing to the sounds of nature and the waves lapping against the shoreline made us fall in love with this property. Since opening our home to guests in 2003, we have had several guests stay with us year after year, some traveling as far Europe to make that annual pilgrimage. Be careful as not lose yourself in the peaceful tranquility . So far, two families who have succumb to the allure of the island and have found themselves permanent residents, just a stone's throw from here, where it all began.
