Trevlig mysig mysig stuga i Sierras nära skidåkning, beläget i Blue Lake Springs-området i Arnold, Kalifornien. Oavsett om du vill ha vinterkul, eller en rolig tid under de varmare månaderna, är stugan platsen för dig att ringa hem under din vistelse uppe i bergen. Stugan ligger nära den lilla staden Murphys som har utmärkta vinprovningsrum, musik, fantastiska restauranger och shopping för alla åldrar. Det ligger också bara en mil från Big Trees State Park som har underbara vandringsleder i bland de vackra redwoods. Bara cirka 25 minuter uppför berget från stugan ligger skidområdet Bear Valley. I Arnold kan du hyra skidor, kajaker, snöbrädor och mer för alla typer av utomhusmöjligheter. I och runt stugan finns många sjöar och områden för picknick med hela familjen eller med dina vänner. Blue Lake Springs erbjuder våra gäster användningen av deras pool som öppnar säsongsmässigt i slutet av maj, simmar i deras sjö samt tennisbanor och en mycket trevlig restaurang.

Vad gör denna stuga unik
vi älskar att sitta ute på det stora däck under de varmare månaderna, och på vintern älskar jag att bara ligga framför elden och koppla av. Det finns så mycket att göra i och runt området. Så nära för skidåkning, Big Trees State Park, Murphys vinprovningsrum, pool, sjöar, vandring, shopping och bra restauranger. Du kommer att ha en fantastisk tid när som helst på året. WiFi, kabel-tv för dem som stannar kvar när det snöar dagar.

Beautiful Cabin in Arnold

Everything was perfection! The only suggestion I would make is to supply one pot of coffee since most people would stop at the market on the way up and not know the kind of coffee maker provided. We left the coffee and filters for the next guest

Quick Getaway

My husband and I needed a last minute one-night stay in Arnold and were grateful that we could rent this cabin. Overall our stay was good. The cabin had plenty of room for us and was clean. We really enjoyed the deck in the evening and in the morning. The entry instructions were confusing and we were thankful we didn't arrive at night. Things were also made harder as our cell phones don't work there without wifi. But the property manager was very quick to respond and we realized we were using the wrong key box, since there were 2 and we had no idea. There's definitely some delayed maintenance with the cabin.

Great Cabin in Arnold!

Property was clean and check in was easy! Owner was super responsive and easy to work with. Only con is that the whole area (house and town) I had zero cell service. I have AT&T provider and was happy that I screenshotted instructions prior to getting up to house. WiFi worked great once and we didn’t need our phones once we got they lay of the land.

House was quiet and clean. Pillows were pretty flat but overall the house Worked well for a family of 4. Driveway was a bit of doozy- you have to back out uphill at an angle. But great location by Big Trees Park and nice to eat on the patio after a long day. Laundry facilities and a family room

OFF TO A DISAPPOINTING START

When we arrived at check-in time at 4:00, the house had not been cleaned since the last guests a week earlier. The host arranged for someone to clean at 6:00 so it was after 7:00 when we moved in. As a result, we had to kill 3 hours and pay to dine out rather than eat what we brought for dinner. The host did refund the cleaning fee and some out-of-expenses we incurred. We recommended a couple of things that need attention: i.e. clean the oven and under the kitchen sink.

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was beautiful. Wow. So cozy, homey and charming. Clean. Loved all the windows!! Such beautiful views. Easy check in and check out. Property owner was very responsive. Only hard thing is the stairs if you have littles. Thanks and we’ll hopefully be back again!

Great place overall, some frustration

When we pulled up to the property, we had nowhere to park because the property had not been shoveled. We had to carry our belongings through 3-4ft of snow and park a half block away. Thankfully we are both able bodied or we would not have been able to make it from the street to the property. When I contacted the owner I was told that it was supposed to be shoveled. The patio was also totally covered in snow so we managed to shovel that and clear it. The next day, it still wasn’t cleared so we had to once again carry all of our belongings through the snow and out to the car. Aside from this, it’s a nice rustic little place with a pretty view from the patio balcony.

trip to the snow, clear access to park not included

First I will start with the positive, the location was beautiful. We wanted to take the kids to the snow since they had a day off from school. The cabin was clean though did have some dirty dishes inside the cabinet, likely no fault of the owner and we clean before we use anyway but some were extremely dirty. Now the bad; we had to shovel the snow ourself to even be able to get into the driveway/entrance of the house. I’m not talking about a little bit of snow it was easily 3-4ft. We were told the day of that there was “somehow snow in the driveway and to be careful” I definitely was not expecting that much! There had been no fresh fallen snow and we booked about two weeks in advance not sure why this wasn’t taken care of. I had my 8 month old baby extremely dangerous. There was 1 shovel and we lucked out that a neighbor saw us and lended another shovel. I have carpel tunnel and was in lots of pain afterwards and during my stay. Shoveling the snow was not in our plans it took us over an hour just to be able to pull the car in, we then had to rush to dinner by the time we were done it was dark and the kids couldn’t even play in the snow the first day, such a waste! We shoveled for over an hour! If I was told earlier (than the day of and how much) I would have easily cancelled. I had to keep following up to see if anyone was coming and apparently they were all “busy” The next day the kids did get to play in the snow so that was nice me and my husband are not used to snow and were sore the next day but I guess we at least got a workout?? I guess the price paid was for the cabin only, not safe access to get inside.
