Stugan är omgiven av alla sidor av rosor, fruktträd, blåsor och suckulenter. Ett litet damm och en storslagen medelhavsfontän ger en lugnande atmosfär. Köket, med Viking spis, Bosch diskmaskin, Subzero kylskåp, filtrerat vatten, bänkskivor i granit och bar, gör matlagning och underhållning en glädje. En traditionell matsal har ett periodbord med sex sittplatser. En original, hand-huggen Santa Barbara sandsten eldstad med en gas upplyst eld värmer det bekväma vardagsrummet med en stor platt-skärm smart-tv. Vintage-lampetter, ljuskronor och trägolv ger klassisk charm hela tiden. Några steg från Santa Barbara Mission, El Encanto och sex kvarter till State Street, är det verkligen en förtrollande plats att bo i den spektakulära Lower Riviera / Upper East.

Beautiful Property in the Santa Barbara Hills!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. It was exactly what we were looking for. Gorgeous views, walkable and private. This was our first VRBO experience and we went into it not knowing for sure what to expect. The house and gardens exceeded our expectations. It was like staying in a high-end hotel nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Kelly was very responsive to our questions, attended to all our needs quickly. Santa Barbara is such a beautiful location, and this house with its expansive deck and views of the islands was a perfect showcase for it. We hope we can return someday (the sooner the better).

Bungalow with a view!

We loved our little bungalow with breakfast, lunch an dinner on the deck with a view of the city, the ocean and the islands. Nice, well stocked kitchen. The landlady was very responsive with any little concerns. Two couples worked fine for a few days then great for the two of us for the rest of the month. Well located near town and Interesting area to walk around the neighborhood. Just right for us!

Beautiful House with Beautiful View

My wife, small son and I stayed her for 3 months. We had a fantastic experience and could not have been happier. House was perfect for us, you could open all the windows and get the cross breeze through the whole house. Coming in the front gate you are welcomed by a sweet garden and fountain, everything was coming into bloom while we were there. There is a large galley kitchen looking out to the large dining room, and the deck and the fantastic view. The living room was a good size with a lovely fireplace and TV. The two bedrooms suited us very well, the master bedroom was a very comfortable size with tons of storage and the main bathroom was well appointed and a generous size. The second bed room was slightly smaller than the master but has an en-suite full bath. The deck...that was something else, the kitchen and the master bedroom both open out to it, via french doors. very spacious, great furniture, tons of seating (sectional couch and dining table, both with large umbrellas.) and a fantastic grille. The view was to die for, to the east you have the ocean and to the west you had the hills. I would go out there every morning and every evening. My wife and son spent many days relaxing and playing in the sun. The stars at night were amazing and so clear. There is an apartment below with a lovely garden and fountain and with courteous neighbors. The neighborhood is fantastic, lovely walks, great architecture, quiet, El Encanto is just up the hill. The house is perched on the hill, but the location was perfect for us, the right distance from the busyness of down town, 5 min away by car. Kelly, the house owner was great, sweet and friendly, if we needed anything or if anything went wrong she addressed it immediately. We highly recommend this house and I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Kelly is an Artist/Designer who grew up with a love of beautiful spaces and the learned the importance of hospitality from her mother, author of "The Art of The Table, A Complete Guide to Table Setting, Table Manners." She delights in providing a beautiful space and attending to all the details for guests. She grew up in Pasadena, went to college in Santa Barbara and San Francisco and returned to the area in 2000.

Kelly is in love with Santa Barbara and considers the Lower Riviera and Upper East neighborhoods to be the perfect location to take in the best of Santa Barbara. Most of the homes in the neighborhood provide ocean views yet are within easy walking and driving distance to State Street. According to Kelly: "There is nothing better than walking into town and then returning home up the gentle incline with fresh air and sights of lovely homes, gardens and the blue of the Pacific."
