I hjärtat av den ryska floden Vin Valley-The Attic på Red Chateau ligger på översta våningen i en gammal flod stuga med egen ingång. Vid inresa känner du dig som om du har trätt in i ett charmigt trädhus i skogen. Med över 600 kvadratmeter och moderna bekvämligheter har utrymmet unika vinklar, intressant design, många fönster med utsikt över skogen och vattenfallet, inklusive vackra gamla "runda glas" rundade fönster. Även om det inte är ett slott och inte längre rött, har namnet varit kvar sedan 1929. Utrymmet inbjuder dig att curl upp i hörnfönstret med en bok eller nypa vin i sittplatsen framför kaminen för mysig vinteravkoppling. För de varmare månaderna finns det ett privat däck och ett spår nära det leder dig till en sandstrand på den ryska floden, där simning, kajakpaddling och sola är populära - cirka 7 minuters promenad genom Steelhead Beach State Park. Det idealiska läget gör att du kan våga någon riktning för ett överflöd av vingårdar, bra restauranger och massor av sommar kul och aktiviteter. Elektrisk parkering.

Fabulous stay

This was the 3rd time stayed at The Attic. Russ is a fantastic host who always makes sure we are comfortable and settled. Perfect place to enjoy all the wonders of The Russian River.

A quant quiet stay in wine and river country

We had a great long weekend stay. Conveniently located near some great wineries and restaurants. There’s good hiking nearby. If you’re planning a canoe trip in the summer this place is ideally located. Our host made us feel welcomed. A super nice guy. I would stay again next time I’m there.

A very happy secluded find. Just as the pictures depict. Clean and comfortable. Well-appointed with everything you might require. Reasonably close to excellent wineries and restaurants. Russ, the host, is friendly and kind. You will be happy you made this choice.

We loved our stay at The Attic celebrating our 48th Wedding Anniversary. You feel as if you’re in a beautiful, well appointed, cozy tree house in the middle of a forest. Loved the furnishings and decor. Your every need has been well thought out and provided. Russ is a fantastic host and is available if you should ever need him.Enjoyed two wineries in particular that were about 20 min away: Wilson and De La Montanya. Picked up deli sandwiches at Big John’s market in Healdsburg and picnicked at DLM—very beautiful gardens! Nice to have The Attic to come home to. My new favorite place to stay!

Great spot for a get away!

The Attic was very impressive. You are surrounded by trees and it almost feels like a comfy, cozy treehouse. Russ was a great host and solved a little check-in issue without any drama and we had an amazing time. The place is completely outfitted with everything you would need and has lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for us to get out and about in nature and we enjoyed hikes. redwoods and the Russian River. You ae also in the heart of one of the best wine areas in the world

Such a darling place.

My partner and I adored this place! It's in a beautiful location, while still being close to many sites. The Attic is cozy, clean and comfortable, with all you might need. Plus you are surrounded everywhere by trees and it's so peaceful. It was a lovely way to spend our weekend getaway.

What a hidden gem! We absolutely loved the space. It was cozy with the little nooks and extra touches. Wonderful little tea selection and tray and a little decanter of port were complimentary. Bathroom was wonderful with a skylight and a duel headed shower. We loved sitting out

Great stay!

Really neat place to stay in the woods. Very unique and nice for a getaway to sit outside and look at the stars with some wine and/or beer. Very clean inside and well stocked.

Cute attic cottage

The unit was immaculate! Very well appointed and updated. It is nestled in the woods but very close to River Road and downtown Forestville. It has everything anyone could need. We enjoyed our stay.

I have lived in the Russian River Wine Valley several years. I enjoy traveling, new adventures and exploring, wine tasting, kayaking on the Russian River and Jenner Bay, hiking the forest and the coast, hunting wild mushrooms, making soap and various herb tinctures and I love cooking, particularly vegan dishes. I also have a love for Mexico and try and spend as much time there that I can.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The location is centrally located in the heart of Russian River Wine Valley. Central to Healdsburg, Guerneville, Sebastopol and Santa Rosa and best of all, close to the Wine Road. I liked that the property is adjacent to Steelhead State Park and the Russian River and that you have views out of every window into the forest. I love the proximity to the coast. Sonoma County boasts an abundance of gourmet cuisine.

This is no cookie cutter house. I like the uniqueness, the old river feel and charm, and the many nooks and crannies. The old antique windows overlooking the forests sets the ideal ambiance for that getaway from it all feel and welcomes relaxation.
