Fullt ombyggt hösten 2017 med nya möbler, sängar, apparater, 2 tvättmaskiner / torktumlare. 3 sovrum = 1 drottning, 1 drottning + utdrag, 2 tvillingar, plus en häll med utdragning. 2 badrum.

Njut av en tillflyktsort som känns som nordskogen, men ligger bara några minuter från Kohlers American Club & Spa, PGA-berömda Whistling Straights golf, Sheboygan's Blue Harbor WaterPark och mer. Gör en bål, spela kort, titta på stjärnorna och djurlivet, gå på stranden eller ta en vandring till Kohler-Andrae State Park.

Njut av de många vattenaktiviteter Lake Michigan erbjuder. Stranden har massor av solstolar, mjuk sand och en gångbar sluttning 20+ meter i vattnet. Rymlig gård är familjevänlig med eldstad, basketbänk, gungor, merry-go-round och volleyboll / badminton / väskor.

Nyligen renoverade 1920-talets "stuga i skogen" sitter bland 100-åriga Pines på stranden av sandiga Lake Michigan. Lyssna på vågorna kraschar när du tittar på hjorten betar på fastigheten. Oavsett om du är där för att koppla av på stranden, spendera tid på golf eller åka till American Club spa. Nelly's Cabin är tillgänglig för många stora attraktioner. 12-15 minuter från den världsberömda American Club & Spa som ligger i Kohler. (25 min till Whistling Straights Home 2004, 2010 & 2015 PGA Championship och kommande Ryder Cup 2020) och avslappnad och fin mat och aktiviteter i centrala Sheboygan.

För strand- och naturälskare - detta är platsen för dig. Koppla av till ljudet av kraschar vågor, fåglar kvittrar och hjortar prancing. Följ vår sandstrandsväg från vår expansiva veranda till stränderna i Lake Michigan. Vi erbjuder massor av stolar för dig så dra en upp och njut av din egen massiva privata strand (sol hela dagen). För dig som gillar att vandra eller gå en lugn promenad finns det många stigar längs vattnet och genom skogen med Kohler Andre State Park mindre än en fjärdedel av en mil upp till stranden.

Njut av din kväll antingen på stranden med en trevlig eld, på verandan eller bara koppla av inne. För dem som tycker om stugan på hösten / vintern finns det många spår att gå, snöskor eller längdskidor. Med en vedeldad eldstad i full storlek kan du mysiga med en trevlig bok och njuta av din tid.

Birthday Celebration

We decided to celebrate my milestone birthday in one of my favorite settings which is a cozy cabin in the woods near water. This accommodation did not disappoint. The property felt private and secluded with views of woods, Lake Michigan and even a few deer. The hosts thought of everything and there was not one thing they overlooked. We were there the weekend when the temps were -23 with the windchill, yet we were toasty warm! The hosts were wonderful and impressively responsive. We are hoping to return again! Thanks so much!!!

Great Family Beach Getaway

We spent a week with 6 adults and 2 children (4 & 14). Everybody enjoyed it. Comfortable Cabin with all the right updates (bathrooms & kitchen). Great grounds and the private beach is special. Really worked well for our kids and grandkids. Hope to make it an annual Beach Vacation!!

Perfect Getaway!

Nelly’s cabin was absolutely perfect for our annual summer getaway with our neighbors! We all loved the serene forest setting and quiet beach. The house was stocked with everything we needed and was completely spotless! Would love to visit again!

What a great find!

Our family of seven loved this house! Everything was as advertised and even better! The beach was clean and very close, the deck was spacious and comfortable and the fire pits were large enough for our whole family to enjoy. The bed linens and towels were an expected high point. Top quality and an abundance of towels, both bath and beach!

Relaxing and Convenient

We wanted something local from Chicago & Milwaukee. Made for an easy getaway. Adorable (and recently updated) secluded cabin with beach access. We loved the charm and the great decorating. Very clean.

Cabin in the Woods

We had a very nice stay at Eric's cabin. He did everything he could to make our stay memorable. He brought in extra wood and more chairs for the fire pit. Our granddaughter loved watching the deer, wild turkeys and running on the beach. The cabin has a cottage feel and is a great place for a relaxing getaway. Dana

Wonderful stay at Nelly’s!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Nelly’s Cabin. This is our second time staying here (last time was in 2021). We enjoyed relaxing at the beach, hiking at Kohler Andrae, making s’mores, playing basketball, etc. We also just loved hiking down the gravel road through the wooded area around the property. Saw lots of deer, frogs, birds, etc. Seeing a barred owl on one of our evening hikes was awesome! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing spot. We hope to return again some day!😊

Beautiful cabin

It was the perfect unplugged family getaway! Beautiful property, well stocked home. The onlt negative things we experienced were all in regards to the weather and dead fish on the beach and obviously the host has no control over that. We felt very comfortable in the home and would book again in the future.

Lovely Lake Michigan Cabin

This is just the type of place I like to rent for a quiet weekend away with a group. Old time character with just the right amount of modern updates - dishwasher, comfortable beds and linens, decent bathrooms. The cabin is well stocked with games, firewood, blankets and towels. We did lots of cooking, had a sunny beach day and a rainy fireside day over the course of our weekend. We were lucky enough that there were no bugs in sight so we spent lots of time on the deck, had a bonfire and took naps in hammocks. The kitchen is a bit snug but suitable to fix meals for sharing. The cabin is set back off of the shore in the woods as pictured. We also took a few walks down the beach to the park and had a hysterical game of HORSE on the court. Would love to come back with my family. The setting is perfect for children as well with lots of playground amenities. Summer camp vibes for sure. What a bucolic spot - will definitely stay again if we have the chance.

Long Beach walks

Nellys cabin is in the best location for Long Beach walks - just south of Kohler Andre State Park. The cabin is rustic, comfy and charming. The property is large with many outdoor amenities to enjoy.

Wonderful Lake Getaway

The location was just perfect being so close to the lake and we didn't lake for anything. The host had stocked the place with anything that we could have wanted. It was a little tricky finding the place the first time but after a drive by or two we figured it out. We wanted a place to get away and this place really fit the bill. Only wish is that we could have stayed longer. Can't recommend this place enough!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family loved Nelly’s Cabin and can’t wait to return! It was truly a unique combination of Northwoods cabin/pristine beachfront. The cabin was immaculately clean and well stocked with games, balls, beach toys, household items, and everything else a family of 6 would need. Lots of attention to detail with towels, utensils, and overall cleanliness. The large sandy beach was just a few steps away and stretched for miles in either direction. Amazing property for a family beach vacation close to home!

Family Getaway on Lake Michigan

We know what our girls and grandkids like in a vacation and Nelli’s cabin was the perfect setting! We had everything we needed, nothing fancy, just comfy, relaxing, rejuvenating. From the monarch butterflies dancing around, the waves splashing, the trees whispering it was perfect. The beach is breathtaking and so fun! Lots of lifetime memories made! Thank you!

Best of Both World

Our family, my husband, myself a few young adult children and our toddler grandchild stayed at the cabin on the beach! The cabin is situated in a beautiful yard with trees and grass, with a beautiful quiet of nature. It is a few feet back from the gorgeous, Sandy Lake Michigan beach! It was a wonderful stay. We hope to stay again!

Even better is that it is also remodeled and decorated with quality furnishings, so even finicky travelers feel clean and comfortable in luxury-type of comfort.

Renting homes can be stressful, as it's hard to be sure if your choice will be good enough for everyone in your group. This property does not disappoint, and is often re-booked by travelers wanting to come back to their awesome 'find'!
