Deedys kreolska stuga ligger inbäddat i stadsdelen Vibrant Treme känd för sin rika kultur och födelseort Jazz Second Line Bands. Bara några minuter från franska QTR och de viktigaste attraktionerna. Vårt hem är smakfullt inredda och har ett privat sovrum med drottning och en bäddsoffa i det stora rummet som omvandlas till det andra sovrummet. Det fullt utrustade köket har köksredskap och köksredskap. Lycklig bokning !!

Great place in a questionable location

Our host and the home itself were both wonderful. I could not have asked for better service and response from our homeowner.The one downside was that the home is in an area that is in the process of gentrification. We had selected the property based on walking distance proximity to NOLA activity. We did not however feel safe enough to walk the area. We Ubered every time we left the house regardless of distance.

Lovely home! I wiah I would have booked it longer..was great for serving guests, was quiet and peace

I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. I would suggest having some ice cube trays and perhaps a better knife...but I love to cook!

Great place!

Loved the tall ceilings (tall guy approved). Nice house and great parking spot. Very clean. You can tell there is pride in this home. Not used to an alarm system, but hostess was more than kind and assisted when I messed up. I’d suggest this place if you plan on spending a lot of time in the French Quarter. Very nice that it is close by.

A sanctuary

This house was perfect for our first visit to the Jazz and Heritage Festival. The house had the perfect location for walking to the French Quarter or for getting rides out to venues. After long days of listening to music all over town, this house was the perfect sanctuary to rest and rejuvinate.

Close to everything.

This is a nice cozy place. Close by alot of New Orleans attractions. We rented a car but didn't need it at all. The house was clean & fully furnished. The only issue we had was that the TV in the front room is not connected to the internet. Everything else was absolutely perfect. I'd definitely stay again.

A QUIET RETREAT

I can not say enough good things about this property. It is obvious that the owner takes great pride. I was extremely impressed that everything that you would need she provided, not common at other VRBO's that I have rented. Communication with the owner was very good. I often book based on outdoor spaces. When we arrived the patio furniture was put away. I emailed her and she quickly responded that her husband would be there in the morning to get it out, of which he was. I was a little leery with it being right next to the interstate on ramp. I am a light sleeper and worried that it might keep me awake. Must say it was not an issue at all. Occasionally you could hear a loud car but overall extremely quiet! The location is a bit of a distance to the French Quarter. I was hoping that we could walk but we did not attempt it. We relied upon Ubers to get us where we needed to go and that worked perfectly. My husband and I are now older and appreciate the quiet from the hustle and bustle of the city. We like to jump in and then be able to retreat to a quiet/peaceful environment. If this describes you then this is the location!

This place is cute indoors and simple. Although it is completely surrounded by a highway on every side. You can hear traffic throughout the night.

Going to the FSU/LSU game!

DeeDee cottage was very convenient to the Superdome. It is well kept and has a great New Orleans vibe! The backyard is nice and private. Make sure to bring some eating utensils as there were no spoons, forks or spreading knives but that was a little thing, the stay was perfect for us and close to Louis Armstrong park.

Beautiful Home

This home was very nice and clean located at the end of a cul-de-sac. Also super close to the Zulu parade.When we arrived we had issues with the combination lock but was able to call the owner, she called back immediately. There appeared to be construction/rehabbing on neighboring homes but we felt safe and walked everywhere we went. I would stay here again and recommend this home to others.

Cozy and Classy

The house had a nice feel to it and was well kept. It was close to the French Quarter so we were able to go back and rest if needed. I will say it was a bit noisy being that it was right next to the freeway, but other than that it was a great stay.

First time, but won't be the last

This was our first time in New Orleans and we had an amazing time - it was so nice to come back to the house and feel at home and have privacy that you just don't get at a hotel. Not to mention that the house is gorgeous! I wasn't sure what to expect or bring with us, but let me assure you she thought of everything! This place is a must see and stay. We're already talking of future trips and we will definitely be staying here. Thank you so much for your hospitality and sharing your home!

My stay at DeDe’s cottage was wonderful. The house is amazing. Deidra was very easy to contact and I walked everywhere I wanted to go. The French Quarters is such a unique place and so many things to do I love coming here. Thank you so much for being such wonderful host. Steve Kuhl

Cozy house within walking distance of French Quarter

Great house in a cool neighborhood - I recommend the tamale shop a couple doors down. Great food but you'll have to be quick as they sell out every day
